Manuka Vantage New Zealand Manuka Oil Face Wash

I like the packaging, it shouts “natural” with the green colour and the Manuka flower. The claims are quite visible on being 100% natural and 80+ Manuka pollen. It gets the sustainability tick as the packaging is recyclable and to top it all it’s made in NZ. The bottle is a pump and works like a wiz. The liquid is quite gentle on the skin and is very sweet smelling. Unlike washes with chemicals that leave the skin feeling dry, this wash leaves the skin feeling clean and soft. The wash feels very natural compared to other products with chemicals. I have a few spots and marks on my face. After using for a few days I can see some improvement. My face is looking brighter and there is slight reduction in the blemishes. I’m sure using it on a regular basis will make a difference to my skin. I will definitely be using it again.

This is a wonderful cleanser for my sensitive, acne-prone skin. I use it every morning and night and have noticed my skin is looking clearer and almost totally acne-free after using it consistently for two weeks. I also notice my sensitive and dry areas are looking and feeling a lot calmer. The cleanser is a non-foaming liquid consistency and doesn't leave my skin feeling stripped or dry. It has a mild herbal scent which I don't find offensive or too strong. I would recommend this to anyone who has sensitive problem skin - this stuff is gentle but does the job well!

The smell is quite bizarre but it feels lovely on the skin. Didn't feel drying but did bring out my spots and made me breakout for a few days. Cleared up after 3 days.

At first I was skeptical about this product because the packaging didn’t look too high end and I wasn’t a big fan of the smell. But after using it daily I have to say it made my skin feel very clean and soft. I did find it a bit drying but it was a good first step before applying some serious moisture! I’m still not a fan of the scent but I can get past that and I’ll continue using it!

I struggle with acne and breakouts, so I was happy to have been chosen to trial this. The Manuka Oil Face Wash is contained in a 120ml pump bottle. It has a gel like consistency and also has a lovely scent.

I used this during my morning and evening skincare routine. It was my first step to my skincare routine. I used a couple of pumps and it lathered up nicely with my palms when water was added. I applied it onto my face in a circular motion to wash my face. I found it very gentle on my skin and even my eyes. After I dried my face, my skin felt nourishing and it didn't strip off my natural oils. My face look fresh and clean.

I recommend this to anyone who struggle with acne and breakouts, this the perfect cleanser for it.

This product of the face wash smells amazing, it's very fragrant and smells like honey. I wouldn't recommend this product to people who are sensitive to smells. I used the cleanser straight after showering in the morning. The cleanser was great and made your skin feel so soft but a little dry, I had to use a moisturizer afterwards to hydrate my skin. My skin would feel a lot fresher and cleaner after using the product but i didn't see a reduce in my problem areas of my skin. Overall i'm yet to see a difference after using the product for a week and a half but I will continue to use the product.

I tested out the Manuka Oil Facial Wash by Manuka Vantage for over a week, and found the experience quite interesting.

I have always been intrigued by the notion that honey can wash your skin! It just doesn't SOUND right since honey is so sweet and sticky! But honey has amazing bacterial properties so I knew it was worth trying out.

This wash did thoroughly cleanse my skin of oil, makeup and grime, but I haven't seen any improvement in my skin troubles.

I have a very oily T zone, and the product states that the face wash unclogs pores and removes excess oils. After trying it out I did not notice any improvement in my oil production; despite using it day and night and leaving it on my skin for 10 seconds to really get the ingredients to work their magic. I had a few pimples erupt during this trial period too and they have only been getting worse.

The bottle itself was easy to use and the push-down top dispensed the face wash well; but my only complaint was the little piece of plastic that came around the nozzle to prevent it being pushed down accidentally during transit - this piece of plastic is wasteful and not easily recyclable as it will just fall through machinery at the recycling plant. My suggestion would be to use a push-down nozzle that twists to the side and locks, until the buyer twists it to the correct position for use.

Overall, I think this is a fine face wash for just removing the everyday grime from your skin, but if you have oily skin like me then don't expect a miracle! Your forehead is still going to end up looking like a mirror by the end of the work day.

Initially, I was a bit put off by the smell of the product. The aloe vera and Manuka honey make an interesting combination in terms of the scent and I found it quite overpowering. Despite this, over time, I found this face wash made an improvement to the appearance of my skin. The anti-inflammatory Manuka oil reduced the redness of my skin and this gentle wash made my pores appear smaller and my skin less oily. Overall I was very impressed, and if the price is right, I will continue to use this face wash.

I’ve tried many facial cleansers over the years . In recent years I have been favouring gentle cleansers . I’m really loving New Zealand products lately . I was excited to try this one.

Consistency is transparent gel . Reminds me of sweet mandarins and honey . I like to apply this gel to my face in a circular motion . It seems to have a very minimal foam . I love that it’s not foamy . I don’t feel like my skin has tightened after using it .

I noticed after using my skin is still hydrated . I didn’t have any skin reactions at all. Skin clear . I still have uneven skin tone with finelines. Pores are still there too . Overall happy with results.
