Manuka Vantage Blemish Regime

I was a big fan of the cleanser, but not quite as convinced with the blemish gel but I will continue using it to see how it goes. Altogether, it seems like a good natural option if you’re trying to reduce harsh chemicals on your skin.

I was lucky to be chosen to trail these products as I struggle with acne and breakouts. The face wash is contained in a 120ml pump bottle and had has a gel like consistency. The blemish gel is contained in 40ml pump bottle and had a light gel texture. They both have the same scent which is beautiful sweet and floral scent.

I used both of these during my morning and evening skincare routines. I first used the face wash, applying couple of pumps and lathering it with water in my palms. Then in a circular motion, I rub it on my face. It felt gentle on my skin and was even gentle on my eyes when I accidentally rubbed it in. After I rinsed and dried my face, my skin looked and felt fresh and nourished, it didn't strip away my natural oils only my skin.

The next step was the blemish gel. I applied it on my the affected areas, wherever there was an existing or newly forming acne or breakout. I found that it absorbed in my skin quickly. The next day the acne or breakout disappeared or reduced in size, depending on the size of it

I was amazing with how quick the results were with the short about of trial time. I highly recommend this to anyone else who struggles with acne or breakout on a regular or even sometimes.

This product combo of the cleanser and blemish gel smells amazing, it's very fragrant and smells like honey. I wouldn't recommend this product to people who are sensitive to smells. The cleanser was great and made your skin feel so soft and then using the blemish gel after was nice and cooling but the blemish gel left a sticky and dry feeling on the skin. Overall i'm yet to see a difference after using the product for a week and a half but I will continue to use the product.

I tested the Manuka honey face wash and blemish gel by NZ skincare brand Manuka Vantage, for over a week.

I have very oily skin and it's the bane of my life. So when this opportunity popped up to try a product regime that was supposed to absorb excess oils, I jumped at the chance!

I love that these products are 98% natural and made right here in NZ using our own precious Manuka honey.

I used the face wash and blemish gel twice a day, for a little over a week, but unfortunately I did not notice any improvements to my skin. The face wash cleansed my skin well and removed my makeup, but the blemish gel smelt very strong and stung my eyes and skin at first. I put the gel over my whole T zone and forehead as that is where I produce the most oil, and still by the end of the day I feel slimy and look very shiny.

Overall this regime didn't benefit me, but it was easy to use and the packaging was nice. It may be better suited to someone with dry and pimple prone skin, but not sensitive as the blemish gel is quite astringent.

I was thrilled to be selected for this trial as I still battle with blemishes even though I am well into my 30's. I liked that these products use natural ingredients such as Manuka honey and Aloe Vera to assist in improving problem skin. After using this regime for about a week, I noticed that my skin was less red, and my pores appeared smaller. I have very sensitive skin and had no reactions to either the face wash or the blemish gel. I look forward to seeing how my skin improves long term with the continued use of this regime.

I have to say that I am annoyed that I actually need to use this duo on my skin but here we are. Since having a baby, my skin has been super temperamental and prone to breakout far too often. No skin care I have tried has worked and has even dried my skin out. Enter and take your place centre stage Manuka Vantage facial wash and Blemish Gel. Let me now tell you the tale of how this stuff changed my hateful relationship with my skin.

Upon first inspection I find it really weird and almost annoying that the two bottles don’t match. It looks like they don’t come from the same collection. That aside, you can definitely smell the Manuka Honey in the duo. It’s pretty obvious but then the blemish gel gives off an almost ‘cleaning product’ smell. It’s definitely not unpleasant but it’s a strong smell.

By themselves they don’t make sense. Together they are a powerful duo, two parts of a whole. I think value for money is definitely amazing. They’re not going to break the bank and you get the full benefits of what more expensive brands could do. I love that together they both cleanse your face and heal your skin.

I have definitely noticed a difference in the feeling of my skin. My breakouts have disappeared besides one ‘scar’ from a breakout I had but otherwise it’s smooth and actually feels cleaner. My pores don’t look so clogged up, especially on my nose. My breaking out has been far less and it gives me confidence that after another week or two, the improvement will be huge. I took a before picture of my skin and hullo, hullo full of breakouts (insert sad face). I wanted to track the true effects of this duo, taking a before and after seemed to be the best way. I can definitely see the difference in the appearance of my skin from the before to the after. It gives me hope that my skin may be able to go back to what it was before with the help of the Manuka Vantage Blemish Regime. I can’t wait to see what the next couple of weeks will bring!!

I got this as a trial team member and I think a week was a little too short of a time frame to really get into it.

The products themselves were good and my skin seem to like them - easy to use. But I just really don’t like the smell. It’s not a bad smell, just a preference thing.

Containers are really easy to use and don’t get mucky.

Will give to my stepdaughter to try!

I was sent the duo for review about a week ago . Funnily enough I have been getting acne on my forehead a lot lately . At my age I don’t know why I seem to be getting this acne so late .

The facial wash comes in a white pump bottle . Two ingredients that stood out to me were the combination of Aloe Vera and Manuka honey . Consistency is gel Scent reminds me of a sweet mandarin with a combination of honey . Application goes on smoothly . It has a gentle feeling on my skin with minimal foam . Afterwards my skin feels refreshed and cleaned well. After a weeks use I’m happy with my results from this cleanser I will add any changes as time goes on .

The Blemish gel comes in a container . This one has a combination of Rosehill and Manuka honey . The gel itself is clear with a cloudy white consistency . It’s scent reminds me of pure honey . I like to put this on top of my moisturiser . I don’t seem to have any reactions with this . After using this I’ve had hydration . My pimple on my forehead has gone .

Overall I’m happy with my results from using this duo . I can’t believe my one pimple has gone from my forehead since using it . I’ll keep adding any changes as time goes by .

I thought this was likely to be a mild acne treatment duo - maybe it was all that talk of manuka honey.

It is infact quite an astringent duo - which if you have super oily skin with angry spots, might just be what you need! I found for my t-zone this was really effective - the wash stripped away oil and the blemish gel dried up active white heads within hours. But for lesser spots and my cheeks, the regime was a bit too harsh, so i'd say if you have breakouts and dry skin, you're going to want to go easy on the frequency of use.

The range smells fresh and vibrant and I liked the functional, simple packaing.

If you have very oily skin and suffer from typical breakouts, I'd recommend these products for sure.
