Manuka Vantage Blemish Regime

My teenage son tried this product as he has some blemishes that has not gone away with other products used in the past. He finds the product to be of great use and thinks it works really well. He will continue using the product and repurchase

So I currently use straight tea tree oil for my blemishes which prevents them from getting more red and dries them out. For the Manuka blemish gel I was hoping it would do the same but be a little more gentle. Now it is in fact gentle, but it dries out the skin around the spots I put it really badly. I didn't feel like it was helping my blemishes. The next morning I would wake up with a white head on the blemish I put it on. However when I use tea tree oil that never happens.

In terms of the face wash however this is what saves the score. It is very very good and great for oily skin as it cleanses it but doesn't dry it out. Very organic smelling and gentle. I will definitely be using that again.

Face wash dried out my skin so I stopped using this after about 3 washes, but could definitely see a difference in the blemishes and spots, coupled with the gel it worked wonders and dried out the spots / blemishes and the anti-inflammatory and anti bacterial properties in the products definitely healed the blemishes and spots much faster and without any redness or inflammation than without it

I love using these 2 products. They make a great duo as they have the same ingredients and are targeting the same issues. The cleanser is very gentle on skin and pleasure to use. It leaves skin soft and clean. Then I apply blemish gel and leave it dry. My skin looks much better after using these products and they work well to heal breakouts.

This was a mixed bag for me. While I really liked the cleanser, I found that the oil didn't really help heaps with my breakouts. The scent of these products is quite strong, so I would suggest that if you are interested, pop into a store that stocks the brand so that you can smell the scent - it won't be for everyone! Otherwise, if you are wanting to try a NZ brand wth the wonderful benefits of Manuka honey, you really should give this brand a go (and the price point is fantastic!)

Very good products, really effective when used together, reducing spots overnight and leaving my face feeling soft and clean. Nice fragrance with a hint of honey and very informative packaging, using almost 100% natural products. They work very well together and would recommend if you have a break out that needs to be cleared up relatively quickly as the manuka has healing a and anti bacterial properties in it.

I used this on my blemishes on my shoulders, neck, and chest. I did this because I personally have sensitive skin and my face does not do well with Rosehip. However, from using this blemish treatment on my acne on my shoulders etc, I could visibly see a difference. The spots were less inflamed and it even evened out the skin tone and made it less blotchy. It had a nice fragrance, not too strong and the feeling of it was really nice to rub on. Yet again, a little goes a long way, so don't pump out too much. I recommend this to anyone with acne spots anywhere! It really helped my skin out. It didn't take away the acne but made them look less angry and red!

I thought this was likely to be a mild acne treatment duo - maybe it was all that talk of manuka honey.

It is infact quite an astringent duo - which if you have super oily skin with angry spots, might just be what you need! I found for my t-zone this was really effective - the wash stripped away oil and the blemish gel dried up active white heads within hours. But for lesser spots and my cheeks, the regime was a bit too harsh, so i'd say if you have breakouts and dry skin, you're going to want to go easy on the frequency of use.

The range smells fresh and vibrant and I liked the functional, simple packaing.

If you have very oily skin and suffer from typical breakouts, I'd recommend these products for sure.

I was sent the duo for review about a week ago . Funnily enough I have been getting acne on my forehead a lot lately . At my age I don’t know why I seem to be getting this acne so late .

The facial wash comes in a white pump bottle . Two ingredients that stood out to me were the combination of Aloe Vera and Manuka honey . Consistency is gel Scent reminds me of a sweet mandarin with a combination of honey . Application goes on smoothly . It has a gentle feeling on my skin with minimal foam . Afterwards my skin feels refreshed and cleaned well. After a weeks use I’m happy with my results from this cleanser I will add any changes as time goes on .

The Blemish gel comes in a container . This one has a combination of Rosehill and Manuka honey . The gel itself is clear with a cloudy white consistency . It’s scent reminds me of pure honey . I like to put this on top of my moisturiser . I don’t seem to have any reactions with this . After using this I’ve had hydration . My pimple on my forehead has gone .

Overall I’m happy with my results from using this duo . I can’t believe my one pimple has gone from my forehead since using it . I’ll keep adding any changes as time goes by .
