Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil review

I was using the Essano oil but when it finished, I thought I would try the Trilogy based on great reviews and minimal price difference.

Whilst it worked almost the same as Essano (I doubt here is much difference actually), I found this had a weird smell on my skin - almost like fish oil. Even though I only use it in the evening, the smell is pretty gross.

Yes it did what it claimed it would - left my skin soft smooth and evened out, but the smell puts me off. Luckily I only bought the small bottle!

I am keen to try other Trilogy rosehip products to see if they all smell like this!

I was lucky enough to get one of the sample bottles (2.5ml) from a friend, and I thank God that this product arrived in my hands to use!

Packaging/Oil - simple, elegant, straight to the point. The packaging includes a box in a deep red rose color, and inside is a brown glass bottle (note that the glass is a thick, sturdy medicine bottle type of glass) with this magic potion (the rose hip oil) inside. The lid is a dropper with a glass body and rubber tip. The oil itself is a gold/deep yellow shade with a natural rose smell to it which is very nice and not overpowering.

My personal experience: After two weeks of using this in replacement of my moisturizer at night before going bed on my face and neck, I found that my complexion was evening out, my acne scarring is less visible and my skin just felt more supple, soft and wasn't breaking out as much as it used to. My skin also looks more brighter, more awake and more hydrated.

To use, I simply use the dropper and add an adequate amount of the oil onto my fingertips and massage it lightly onto my face and neck being careful around the eye areas. This oil absorbs very quickly and is not sticky or leaves your hands very oily like other oils do.

I intend to use this on my stretch marks and scars next and expect some awesome results. You can purchase this in the 20ml or 45ml bottles, and believe me it is worth every cent!

You can also use this for your dry/chapped lips prior to applying your lippy or massage it on your body as a moisturizer to nourish and hydrate your skin.

This is a must have for every lady out there, thank you Trilogy for such an amazing product!

I missed out on getting to trial this but I just wanted to see what it was like so went and purchased it and I am so glad I did!

I got the larger size based on value for money and it already seems like it is going to last forever and I am not complaining.

I’ve started using it as a night time routine and it’s given me such a nice appearance and feels like its done something magical. Acne scars have become less visible and all over appearance is brighter.

It has so many uses and being pregnant I am planning on using this as my belly expands to prevent stretch marks.

I was given a small sample of this beautiful oil to try and was immediately sold in the gorgeous, true rose scent - I went out and bought a full sized bottle after the first use! The oil comes in a small glass bottle and is dispensed using an eye dropper. Trilogy recommend using 3 drops on your face and neck after cleansing- I love using the eye dropper as I feel like I am back in the high school lab! Three drops is all you really need as this decadent oil spreads easily and a little truly does go a long way. It took about ten minutes to really absorb. I used the oil at night at noticed my skin felt soft and plump in the morning- I had to slap my wrists to stop myself stroking my cheeks! Very happy with this product and will continue to purchase.

I brought rosehip oil years ago for a burn scar and was blown away with how quickly it reduced the scar.

Queue a few months ago.. two operations this year as left my tummy looking like a war zone. My surgeon suggested Bio Oil but I wanted something more natural and remembered Rose Hip oil...

I was blown away with how much choice there is now for rosehip oil. I chose Trilogy due to its good reputation and eye catching packaging. It is also priced reasonably and can be sometimes found 25% off at Farmers.

It is early days for my scars on my tummy but they are slowly lightening and losing their angry redness.

After reading the reviews on BR I decided to try on my face. WOW is all I can say almost instantly after applying my skin almost comes to life, it plumps up and looks radiant.

I have acne prone skin and was slightly hesitant to try, but I have yet to see an increase in acne BONUS!

I will be re-buying in a larger size for sure.

I would recommend to anyone.

Oh, is there anything this product cannot do?

I’m not saying that in a bad way, but in a omg-this-is-a-miracle-product way. I received ten little samples from them when they had the promotion and soon after I won myself a 20ml bottle. I love the packaging, but I think they should put a seal type of thing in it so that when you “accidentally” knock over the bottle you don’t have to drag your face on the table/floor not to waste it. The bottle is glass, but it’s sturdy.

But the inside is the real thing that counts - and oh, you are missing out if you don’t have this in your life already!

I use it in so many ways for so many things:

1. I add a bit to the bath once/twice a week so it keeps my skin hydrated.

2. I apply it to my face when it needs some TLC. Or at least once a week under my moisturizer/foundations, etc.

3. I apply it to my stretch marks, yes I bet we all have some of those (or had them once in our lives, if you don’t have some, don’t fear because there will be a time that you do get them…) and it’s made such a difference in the colour and size of them. You won’t believe the results you see in two weeks’ time.

I absolutely love my rosehip oil and I will recommend it to anyone and everyone, even the people passing by on the street. I think everyone has to have a bottle of this.

After reading all the hype about this rose hip oil I finally got some and now I see why It's a favourite of many. I got the sample's of It awhile back, But now own the 20ml.

I've been using this as my night oil before bed and I find It to absorb like no other oil on the market, within second's my skin sucked It up and left feeling suprisling smooth and really soft, After my first use I fell In love with just how absorbent It Is.

The oil Itself Is a lovely smooth light wieght texture and a little bit really does spread wide so therefore last's for age's.

What I really enjoy Is putting a bit In a hot bath when my skin Is quite dry, Afterward's It leave's my skin like a babies.

Since using the rosehip oil every night I have found a change In my overall skin texture, A lot more smoother and soft to touch. I also found that a few dark spot's and little imperfection's are clearing up also.

The price of this oil Is well worth It as a little really does go a long way and I plan I continueing on using the Trilogy certified organic rosehip oil. and full recommend It to everyone of all age's.

I won a free bottle from these guys and it's amazing. My pimples cleared up really well and it feels so nice on. A drop goes a long way which is great. I feel confident again. Although it's an oil it massages in perfectly and my skin just soaks it up. Rub the excess into my hands and done. Not like other oils where it looks like you are using oil and have to wash your hands.
