Neutrogena Alcohol Free Toner Review

I tried this as I thought it would be fine being oil free but for some reason it made my skin break out.

I made a trial using it and when I did my skin felt so clean but then the next day my skin is oily and breaking out which is a shame because I have so much product left in the bottle.

My skin is sensitive with dry/combination skin

I bought this after the Neutrogena toner I got that is full of alcohol. I needed a toner that would help my combination skin feel a bit more balanced and that didn't sting my skin when I used it. A toner that wouldn't burn my eyes or nose when just the smell hit me.

The bottle is powder sky blue with all the essential information on it. It resembles the toner with the alcohol added so be careful when reading the labels so not to get the wrong one. I know I have done that before. It has a normal click top lid to distribute the product. Even though it's not ideal for my nails when opening it does make sense for a thin liquid substance like toner. The toner resembles water but with a slight smell of what I can't put my finger on.

I always cleanse before using this because it clears and gunk and dirt that may have accumulated on my face throughout the day. It gives the face a fresh canvas to work on. I use a cotton pad with a smallish squirt of this on it. I rub it on my face with swipes rather than circles to make sure I don't damage the skin. I have done that before too by being too abrasive on it with the toner soaked pad. I was left with red patches all over.

I let the toner dry on my face before applying further skin care. I like to use a cleanser and toner before a mask as well it opens the pores up for the best possible results. After using the toner for a month now I see my skin is far less red, it has evened out and it doesn't break out as much as it used to. I am hooked on making sure I get my three step skin care regime in every morning. Without this baby my skin would still be very oily and just dull in my opinion. The alcohol free version is a must have!

This toner is insanely good. I have far less breakouts than I used to as my face is really clean. I can always see the dirt on my cotton buds when I use this toner and it is very reassuring. This toner also doesn't burn my face like some others do, so I really like this brand and will definitely continue to buy it.

After using a toner when i was younger and having my skin badly dry out, i thought i would never use one again. however, after learning that a toner is useful when trying to get rid of pimples, i thought i should give it a second try. looking around countdown i spotted this wonderful product and was happy when i saw it said it didn't dry out skin and it turned out to be true! I've been using this product for a while now and i am absolutely in love with it. it reduced pimples and got rid of extra dirt left on after cleansing which made me very happy :)

I tried this toner a number of years ago, but when the bottle ran out I decided to try other brands, however I have recently come back to this gem. First of all it is alcohol free and unscented so you don’t get that feeling that you have just wiped harmful chemicals all over your face. I tend to have issues with some toners that can be harsh on my skin, but have not found this to be an issue at all even with sometimes using twice a day. It leaves my skin feeling soft and fresh. It is a good product for a low price.

I tried the Neutrogena Alcohol Free Toner after spending heaps of money on expensive toners for months and months, and getting sick of it. I was worried that this toner wouldn't do anything since it's so cheap - WOW was I surprised! This is a little bombshell of a product right here.

The packaging is very simple - a plain blue bottle with a white flip-open cap. The toner itself is unscented, clear, and is very gentle and very soothing on the skin. I have very sensitive skin that is prone to redness and acne, and I found this toner was LOVELY on my skin! I applied it in gentle circular motions using a cotton pad, morning and night.

After using this toner for a few weeks I found my skin becoming noticeably clearer and softer. Will definitely keep using in the future as a great way to help keen my skin clean after cleansing.

I have been using the Neutrogena cleansing cream and alcohol free toner for almost two months now. Both purchased for approximately $15.00 each at the Warehouse (supermarkets sell them too). I am delighted with both products. The cleanser has little to no fragrance and performs perfectly (even as an eye make up remover). I have taken cotton wool and wiped over and nothing comes off, but wait for it ..... use the toner and suddenly you realise that there is still a fair bit of make up in the pores and it removes it all. It has no fragrance, is easy to pour out of container (hole not too big either) and works wonders. It definitely leaves you feeling exquisitely clean without any tight dry feeling. When they say it reconditions the skin I am not sure about the claim of reconditioning the skin, but the products tie in hand in hand and are very inexpensive and of a high quality. My skin is slightly dry at times and when it is it can be sensitive but I have had absolutely no problems with these. As mentioned previously I have been using them for about two months and still have a least a third left in the bottle. Great value and great product!

This is my go to toner! I use it every day and love that it isn't too harsh on my skin as it is alcohol free. I find it removes any dead skin or makeup that hasn't come off fully with cleanser, as well as bits of dust or fluff from drying your face with a towel. If you don't moisturize right after it can leave your skin feeling a bit tight. The bottle says it doesn't strip skin of it's natural moisture and that it will leave your skin feeling fresh, clean and soft. I think it does all of that, but maybe not so much the soft feeling. I think the moisturiser working with the toner does leave it soft though! I definitely recommend this and have done to friends and family in the past.
