Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater Review

This product was something I had seen online, and heard about.. but I had never considered buying it untill I received it as part of a GWP, and i kind of fell in love.

I got a 80ml bottle, which is a sligtly frosted plastic bottle, with a see though cap, and a white plastic spray nozzle. The bottle has a simple white label. Nothing impressive, the packaging is very basic and simple.

The facial spray is a brown with a slight pinky tone to it, and is the consistency of water and of course it has a rose scent. I have to admit, I am not a fan of rose scented products because i feel like most products can only produce a really fake rose smell which just smells sickly to me, but this product has nailed it to a T. The smell of rose is definitely there, but its not fake or over powering. It just smells lovely.

The cheap looking nozzle is really efficient and sprays the water really finely, like a mist which I really like as well.

The reason i love this spray is because it makes my skin feel so good. I took it travelling with me, and it gave my skin a hydrating spritz when i needed it. Plus when my face gets hot or flustered, its a quite way to cool my skin down, and to feel refreshed.

I'm not sure how much this actually costs, but I don't care because i would repurchase this in a heartbeat. I have been using this a couple times a day for the last month, and the bottle still looks full! I am very impressed.

I have been using this Mario Badescu facial spray for around 3 years now, I have repurchased it 4 times already and can't imagine not using this gem and I hope they never stop making it.

I have dry skin and I use it everyday either before bed or in the morning to hydrate my skin after I shower to add some moisture. It's really refreshing and makes my skin look fresh and dewy and has a nice soft rosy scent that isn't over powering.

I also use this on my hair sometimes if it feels it needs extra moisture and I've heard of some people using it as a setting spray. I personally prefer not to use it this way because the mist isn't fine enough for my preference.

I highly recommend this during winter time because it's a great pick me up for dry/dull winter skin, it's also great as a refreshing spritz in the summer. I recommend it to anyone in general because of how versatile it is.

So I brought this on beauty bay after seeing Carli Bybel rave about. It was quite cheap and I brought a few this from the Mario range that came to around $110nz, which I think is great for good quality products. First of all, let me talk about the scent. I love rose scents, but it can't be that sickly gross fake rose smell, it needs to be a nice subtle rose smell, which this product nails. It's so refreshing the smell. I use this product as my make up setting spray and find it helps my make up last all day. I've never really been into setting sprays but I actually love how good this sets my make up for the day. I only ever wear matte foundations and I love how this product gives me a nice light dewy look, while still looking matte (if that makes sense). It is very hydrating and refreshing and is something I am definitely repurchasing, along with my other Mario products that I have purchased. This bottle is simple yet that doesn't do the product justice. It's also very affordable. The spray literally spritzes across my face so delicately & has a nice fragrance. It sets my makeup, refreshes my makeup & gives my skin hydration when not wearing makeup. A great multipurpose product I would highly recommend for 1 it's affordability for the size of bottle it's price is great 2 the product works 3 non invasive delicate yet (I'll say it again ) it works :) I have combination skin type with signs of aging & this doesn't agrivate my skin 4 it prolongs the wear of my makeup.

I have been using Mario products for years and I am onto my 15+ bottle of this - it's one of my holy grails! I use this to spray my face when I wake up, to set my makeup or to just refresh my skin. I love this stuff so much and the best part is how inexpensive it is!

This product is life changing! It is so soothing on the skin and smells so beautiful. I use it when I am doing my morning or nighttime skincare, which feels so refreshing on my bare face. And I sometimes also use it when I am doing my make up as it is perfect for setting your face. If this product is not in your beauty collection, it should be!

I’ve used many facial sprays and I believe this one is THE must-have. My sister bought this from Mecca Maxima in Australia for relatively a similar price to what it sells for here in New Zealand ($17-18AUD).

I was never interested in the product because of the rose scent but I feel like there is a good balance where it’s light enough for both those that love the rosewater fragrance and those that tend to shy away from it. The frosted-like plastic is sturdy and great for travel (particularly if you pick up the smaller size which is only $10 for 118ml). I actually like the contrast of the pinky rose liquid through the packaging so you know how much you have left. Another bonus is you could potentially reuse the bottle to put in some sort of haircare concoction.

The mist is so light and has good coverage so I don't feel like a waste much product. I use this product in a number of ways - after I tone, after primer, on my brush to apply my makeup and as a setting spray. It works wonderfully even for someone who has oily skin like myself. As with any facial spray I keep the spritzing (to set my face) to a minimum because I do find that I tend to become oily sooner so just 2 spritz to set my face is sufficient.

What I love most about this product is that it’s actually GOOD for my skin. I have sensitive skin and I haven't had any problems with it. It’s not just a mist of “ohhh-la-la”; it hydrates the face and doesn’t leave a film of residue behind. I’ve been using it consistently for 3 months and I have a 1/4 of the 236ml left. For only $18 this is a steal and I am looking forward to repurchasing my next one.

After hearing a whole lot of hype around this product, I couldn't resist picking it up from Mecca Cosmetica on a trip there a while ago. Since then I have repurchased this multiple times - I think this is my 3rd or 4th bottle - and I'm just in love with it! It retails for $10 for 118ml but you can get the larger size with 236ml of product for $18. It can only be purchased at Mecca Cosmetica though, so that may be a downfall for some who don't like shopping online and don't have a store nearby.

This product comes in a matte, clean looking translucent spray bottle. It is very nice looking, and the pink spray stands out well so you can easily tell how much is left. The nozzle is average, not the best I have tried but decent. Although the product is pink, it doesn't leave a tint on your skin or makeup. It smells gorgeous, a lovely rose fragrance. I like to use it after washing my face to tone, and also before and after applying makeup to prime and set - it's great for getting rid of the powdery look. It leaves my face moisturized and dewy looking. You can also use it for other purposes - making eyeshadows more pigmented by spraying on the brush then applying to your eye, or refreshing your makeup throughout the day.

I would definitely recommend picking this up, it's a great multipurpose facial spray that smells divine! One bottle lasts 3 months easily, and that's the small size! I would imagine it would be great for sensitive skin too - so soothing and cooling, definitely not just for the sake of spraying your face.

I have typically dry/irritated skin, and this has been the most refreshing non-irritating find. The spritz provides a calming cooling effect, which is especially a treat for red skin that has a tendency to heat up. It's comparable to MAC's Fix+, but I found this steal of a spray to be much more hydrating.

If you have slightly oily skin, this isn't going to be a mattifying makeup setter, but will still be great in your skincare line-up as it isn't going to contribute to your oily skin. An absolutely perfect go-to for those with dry skin who need a dewy top up throughout the day, and a little extra hydration in their beauty routine.

PLUS there is the added bonus that it smells delightfully fresh. Honestly, next time your in Mecca, grab the $10 bottle and give it a go - will not regret.
