This refreshing, skin-purifying toner helps oil and shine disappear for fresh, pure, matte skin. Honeycomb-shaped micro-captors absorb oil deep down in the pores. Zinc Gluconate limits the visible effects of excess sebum while salicylic acid unclogs pores. Skin is transformed, pure and lastingly matte. Pores are tightened and refined. Skin is touchably soft. Use twice daily after cleansing.

I am currently in the process of swapping most of my Clarins skincare to Lancome. I am ready for a change and I love the research and science behind Lancome products. The mattifying toner is the first Lancome skincare item that I have purchased and I am VERY impressed. It has the usual features of a toner: removing any last traces of makeup, rebalancing your skin and preparing it for better absorption of serums and moisturisers. It doesn't break me out, nor is it drying and it doesn't have the alcohol smell or feel that a lot of toners do.
It's main point of difference is its ability to keep my skin matte. My skin is never overly oily, but by lunchtime I definitely need to reach for blotting sheets. I now reach for these purely out of habit, as my skin is a whole lot less oily now that I am using the Lancome mattifying toner morning and night. It simply feels refreshing and almost insignificant when first applied, but it puts up one big barrier to oil! I truly recommend this for anyone with oily skin, as it is such a small, easily applied product that makes a big difference.
