Goodness Be Cool Mist Toner Review

I've been using a few of the products from the Goodness range and I really like that they are vegan friendly and don't have as many ingredients as many other products. They always smell really great and do exactly as described. The Be Cool Mist Toner was a new product for me, I generally don't 'tone' so wasn't quite sure when to use it, other than the instructions on the bottle that pretty much said use whenever. I used it a few times after the gym, which was lovely and cooling and then on a 'no make up' Sunday. I was really surprised at how moisturising it was for a toner, I found I didn't need a day moisturiser afterwards, my skin felt great all day, I imagine it would be really lovely to use on a long haul flight. The smell is lovely and refreshing, I find this with all of the Goodness products that's I've used and it was really gentle on my freshly cleansed skin. It was definitely more of a spray than a mist, I found that my skin felt very wet after spraying so I would be nervous to use it as a make up setting spray, I've tended to just use it straight after cleansing. I'd actually be really keen to use this on accidental sun burn! I think it would be so nourishing, hydrating, cooling and light...I think I might have to book a holiday :-)

I was a little nervous to try this at first. I have very sensitive skin and break out easily. I was hoping that I wouldn't get a rash from using this! But I actually love this product.

My first impression of the packaging was that it is simple, cute and easy to read. There are no problems with the squirty bit and it sprays the Tiber evenly. The toner is vegan and made from natural products and it also smells great! Win win. It has a fresh, clean and energizing smell. I love using this first thing in the morning after a shower as it really wakes me up.

I have a very oily t zone and this toner actually helps regulate the oil production on my face. I've noticed my skin is a lot less oily during the day. It makes my skin feel fresh and clean and hydrated. I was worried it would make my skin feel dry and irritated but it doesn't at all!

I honestly love this. I've tried it on my dad, mum and partner and they all feel that it's refreshing, tightens their skin and smells really good

I received this for review, it came in the post, when I opened the post bag the bottle had leaked (even tho the lid seemed to be on fine) and there was at least 10mls inside the bag. So that was a disappointing start. The bottle didn't give much away on what to do with it, or when you should use it apart from whenever you want to. I have combination skin, the first time I used it my face was a little dry, I was expecting it to spray on my face like a fine mist, but it did not. My face got very wet with med-large size drops, I did have to rub it in a lot and if I wasn't fast enough it just ran off my face. Did my face feel better after.. Yes and the smell was pleasant to, but I didn't like the way it felt being sprayed on. I don't think I would use it again.

One of the first things that attracted me to this product that it is a New Zealand brand that I have heard quite a bit about lately. It is also a brand that uses lots of great ingredients that are good for the skin and is vegan-friendly.

The packaging works well with the natural focus of the product. It is simple but stands out with the use of pale green with brown text. The product comes in a spray bottle which, for me, is a new way to apply a toner, which makes for a quick on the go application.

I simply sprayed the toner on after cleansing my face but before moisturizer. I also used it during the day as a refreshing wake up spray. The spray came out nicely and evenly and was great both before and after makeup. I didn't notice that my makeup lasting any longer than without the toner but it also didn't wear off faster which I thought may have been the case. I really enjoyed using this during the day when I was feeling tired or when I had a headache as it is very refreshing.

The smell of this toner is amazing! I would wear this smell as a fragrance I loved it that much. Because of the smell alone, I found myself spraying not only my face but also my chest and back.

The first time I used this toner I sprayed my whole face including my lips which left a funny taste so the following times I sucked in my lips to avoid this taste. This is the only thing I didn't like about this toner which really isn't much of an issue!

Overall this is a great toner. I loved how quick it was to apply and it was very refreshing. If I was to purchase it again it most likely would be over summer as a spray like this would be perfect on a hot day.

I was lucky enough to be chosen to trial this product by Beauty Review. I do not normally use a toner as part of my beauty routine as I find them too drying. However, I was interested in trialing this as it sounded hydrating.

The product comes in a clear plastic spritz bottle, with goodness' blue/green labeling, and matching coloured top. You can see that the toner itself is basically clear coloured.

I found it easy to spray onto my face, and it smells amazing! Like a combination of cucumber and freshly cut lemongrass.

It feels very refreshing on my skin, and I find it soothes my skin as well. I have had some bad hormonal outbreaks recently, and it has really helped to calm my skin.

It feels wet going on, but I find that it dries quickly. The toner promises to be cooling, refreshing, and to also work as a make-up setting spray. I found that it was great at the first two, but not as successful as a make-up setting spray - at least not as successful as an actual make-up setting spray. It is perhaps a bit too wet going on, and there was more movement in my makeup after using this, than using my make-up setting spray by comparison.That was my only criticism. I found this very successful as a soothing toner, and I think it would be great to use to refresh yourself after exercise, or just a hot summer's day.

I had never tried a mist toner before so was very excited to use this. It comes in a plastic bottle with really pretty pastel mint colouring. I find it quite simple but appealing. The bottle has a spray nozzle and holds a generous 140ml.

I have very sensitive skin so was a bit worried how it would react, but I had no issues at all. I love that it is alcohol free and literally full of goodness!

I like to use it in the morning after my shower. I find it is very refreshing. I hold it about 20cm from my face and the mist covers my face well. It does not leave it feeling sticky at all.

My workplace is very hot so this has become a saviour for me at work. I have been using it on my smoko breaks and it gives me a boost and makes my face feel so refreshed. The smell is lovely, cucumber and a faint celery is what I can smell most. It is not overpowering at all.

I have also used this over my bb cream and it sits beautifully on my skin. Overall this is definately a great product and I will continue to use and repurchase. Love that it is made in good old NZ!

I was really looking forward to trying this Mist toner to compare it to a Clinique one I used to use.

I'm also not really a toner girl, I know, I'm being naughty, unless I really need to get all the makeup residue off at night.

The toner comes in a convenient 140ml size pump container and delivers a lovely fine mist but do make sure that you have the sprayer a good 9 inches away as the first time I used it I sprayed a bit too close to my face and it got quite wet.

The smell is a really pretty refreshing rainforest fragrance that does linger for a while. My skin was left with a dewy sheen so looked brighter which I particularly liked especially if I wasn't going to wear makeup that day. Any tightness after cleansing and before moisturising that I usually got was gone.

I also have been having menopause 'issues' with hot flushes and loads of pimples and the spray has helped calm my sore skin down - must be the aloe in it.

I would buy this again as a good cheaper alternative to the Clinique one I had previously used. Not much is required so it will last a long time which is great.

This toner comes in a generous 140ml clear plastic bottle with a spray nozzle. The label is a cute pastel green, kind of cucumber cool colour.

I first used this spray as a traditional toner, after I cleansed and before I moisturised. I found it to be light and refreshing. The spray is very fine so you dont feel you are drowning in toner. I can smell cucumber which is very refreshing.

Next I used it as a make up setter. I really noticed a ddifference in how my make up stayed for the whole day.

As I am of the age where menopause is fully raging throughout my body the hot flushes are a constant. I kept this light rrefreshing spray in my bag and when I felt a hottie coming on I had a wee spray and felt a bit better.

This product is alcohol free and vegan friendly, and made in New Zealand, whats not to love?

It comes in a clear spray bottle. The packaging is simple but nice. I definitely smell the cucumber when I spray it.

I've been trialing this product as a makeup setter as well as a hydration mist.

Using as a hydration mist, you simply spray onto your face from a small distance and allow to dry naturally. It made my skin feel awake when I used it this way. I would spray it whenever I felt the need. I enjoyed using it this way but my only gripe was that my skin felt slightly sticky afterwards.

Using as a setting spray for my makeup worked good. I felt it definitely helped to keep my makeup on.

All in all, this is a good natural product. I wouldn't personally go running out the door to repurchase however I do like it and know others will too.

So i'm not a toning kinda gal normally, but I was super intrigued to try this out as a makeup finishing spray and have ended up adding it into my daily routine before my moisturiser in the morning. The spray is soooo nice and cooling and freshens my skin up ready for the day, I feel like it leaves a slight film on my skin which isn't uncomfortable but leaves my pores feeling a little tighter. As for a makeup finishing spray, it has been ok. I have been spraying my makeup down with this and patting it down with my damp beauty sponge as I would my normal spray, it gets rid of that powdery finish on my skin and gives a nice glowy finish. As far as keeping my makeup on longer, I didn't notice a big change in the longevity of my foundation but it did make me feel less cakey and I have enjoyed spraying my face down throughout the day which does wonders for waking me up ;) The fragrance for this product is probably one of my favourite things, it doesn't have a chemically alcoholish smell as some toning products can have. Its super fresh and has a soft cucumberish (is that a word??) fragrance which isn't too over the top which makes it super pleasant to use. Overall it is safe to say I will repurchase this over and over again xx
