Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2 Review

I have oily skin and find that Clinique's Clarifying Lotion 2 helps deep clean my skin and remove all dirt and make up leaving it smelling fresh and helping close my pores. It does help prevent break outs and as it doesn't have an overpowering smell my hubby also uses it when he gets the odd spot! For me, this is a luxury purchase as I think it is quite expensive so don't use it with other Clinique products.

I'm not a big fan of this toner as I don't like toners that feel like you're dousing yourself in alcohol and this does for me. It has quite a strong alcohol scent and seemed to dry my skin out even more. I also found my skin was quite sensitive as it stung a bit around the nose and eye area. I prefer more gentle and natural toners so won't be purchasing this again but will finish the bottle by using when I feel my skin is getting rather oily or I get break outs.

When I was younger and my skin was a lot oilier I used to use the number 3 and even 4 toner which did what I needed at the time. Now that I am older and my skin is a lot drier, albeit with the occasional hormone-induced pimple, I am loving this Clinique Toner. I find that it gets rid of dried bits of skin without drying out the skin. My skin looks and feels much fresher after I use it and my pores appear smaller.

I love this toner, its amazing and I always use after my Clinique facial soap liquid. I use a cotton pad as I hate the feeling of cotton balls! I put this on the cotton pad and lightly sweep this over my face. It is amazing for your blemishes/acne, you have fresh clean skin after. I also find the toner is amazing for picking up and excess dirt or make up that may not have came off with a cleanser. I have also noticed that my skin feels firmer and really helps with cleaning pores.

Ive always liked Clinique products, and this one is no exception. Not overly smelly which is a bonus, and leaves your skin with a nice "zing", . I do however find that although it is for dry/combination skin, my skin can still feel dry after using it, even when used in combination with the rest of the three step products.

As part of the Clinique 3 steps, I used it Lotion. I love it, it leaves my skin clean and fresh. I use it before the moisturiser, it does make my skin fresher and brighter. The smell might be a little bit strong, but you get used to it. Love Clinique products.

I received this product as a christmas gift when I was younger and rather a lot of pimples.

I found with using this product every day my skin began to clear up dramatically. To only getting pimples occasionally. I finally got around to repurchasing after many years and still love this product.

I'd gotten this as part of the '3-Step System' when I got my Sonic brush. I haven't really had any great love for toners, and I lumped this in the same category as a 'nice, but not need' product.

Boy was I surprised! This lotion is excellent - it has a very inoffensive scent (it doesn't smell like alcohol or overly strong). When you wipe it over your face, you're rewarded with a lovely, tingly feeling - it made me think of peppermint! That crisp, soothing kind of feeling.

After I've used it, my skin feels really... fresh is the only way I can think to describe it. Not tight or dry like toners I've tried in the past. Applying the moisturiser after using this step is just the icing on a really great cake.

I would absolutely use this again, and the price is very reasonable for the quality of the product. I do find that I go through it quite quickly is the only downside, but it is a great quality product.

I love this stuff! Its pricey but it does the job (and the bottle is huge! it lasts ages) my skin is really dry and this definitley helps minimise it, it also cleans deep and removes alot of makeup which i thought i had removed. it gives a fresh feel and doesnt make my face go tight, although sometimes it does sting my face, especially on some bits of acne, but i do find it makes my face super soft, moisturised and clean.
