Garnier Ambre Solaire BB Sun Cream SPF50 Review

i think this formula might be good but the shade is too dark even for my asian yellow skin , apart from that its good .

I purchased this before a trip to Aussie. The SPF factor is a winner but it was greasy and kinda orange. I also hated the smell. I wore it the hole week I was there but have since thrown it out

It is hard to find a bb cream or foundation that boasts an spf of 50 so I was excited to give it a go. Unfortunately I found it to be way too shiny on my skin right from the get go. I have oily skin already so to start the day shiny is less than ideal. I also noticed it had an odd smell and found that it didn't blend well - it kind of rolled up into bits on my skin. I would definitely prefer to use an spf sunscreen under my usual bb cream rather than this product so I won't be using it again.

I use this every day! It blends into my skin beautifully and is not heavy like foundation. I always top it off with a bit of Thin Lizzy powder.

This product has SPF 50 so you can feel safe out in the sun.

I have olive skin so the tone is perfect for me. Both my Mum and my daughter use it as well.

I bought this as a change from my usual Garnier BB Cream mostly because of the spf50 factor. Too orangey, thick and takes a long time to blend. My eyes were stinging even after avoiding rubbing the cream too close to them. Would not repurchase as there are a lot of better BB creams out there.

This is definitely not a cream I’d wear daily. I found it to be very orange when applying (you have to blend it really well to avoid lines) it was sticky and very shiny with a yucky smell that lingered. I use it when I go on holiday/in hot places (like to Rarotonga) and it’s great for that and the sunscreen works well. Not good for every day makeup when not on holiday.
