Best sensitive range I’ve ever used.

I absolutely LOVE this range from Trilogy and have been using it since it first became available in NZ. Itchy flare ups are a thing of the past and if I do get a stress reaction the calming serum is perfect for settling it down. The mask is incredibly moisturising and can be left on overnight for an intense treatment without concerns of causing spots. Really from my perspective it is the ideal range with each individual product complimenting the other. If my skin is reactive I use the calming serum & moisturising cream combo for both night & day. When it’s behaving I use the restoring oil/moisture cream combo for nights. Then once a week apply the Hydra Mask overnight. You can expect your skin to feel soothed, moisturised and radiant from the Very Gentle range without your skin feeling heavy. I’m 50 this year with fine lines so recommend it also for maturing skin.

Tips: For flare ups stick with the calming serum & moisture cream especially if you have broken skin. Be aware that the restoring oil is not recommended for skin that is inflamed or broken.

Thank Youuuuuuu!!

I have crazy fickle skin, my whole life it has been super sensitive that has a meltdown whenever it feels like it and breaks out in painful red facial eczema that drives me up the wall , but as i've gotten older and now in my 30s I don't just need sensitive skin care, I need something to work on anti aging and keeping my skin protected and hydrated. i sometimes feel like I don't fit into a box that I can just tick one option for my type of skin. I've tried so many products but never fallen in love with a whole range before. UNTIL NOW!! I have enjoyed using every single one of these products.

Firstly the packaging is so so so pretty, I'm terrified i'm going to drop the beautiful glass bottles on the floor (that has happened before!!) They look gorgeous in my bathroom cabinet and all serve their purposes well.

The products them selves, are all so incredibly rich and nourishing without being super heavy weighty or greasy. My skin soaked up the products really well and welcomed the hydration. One noticeable thing was a little goes a long way, which is so good considering the range to me is a little on the pricer side but is backed with amazing quality products in my mind.

Performance wise, all of the products worked really well for my skin, and after having a facial eczema flair up a day before my products arrive they were put to quick work and didn't irritate the problem and I think even helped it calm down as it did not last nearly as long as it would normally with the calming serum becoming my very best friend.

Tips: Don't let the price put you off, great quality products that are well worth the investment. A little goes a long long way xx

Finally A Sensitive Range That Works

I’ll be honest, the thought of using so many products from one range and using them religiously freaked me out a bit as I’m used to using a couple of products and usually from different brands.

Packaging- I love the colours they have used, simple yet sophisticated. This tells me that the quality of the product has not been compromised by having over the top packaging. Each product came in its own box and had its own unique pump, jar or dropper which was in line with how the product needed to be applied. I loved how they supplied you with little black spatulas so you didn’t have to put your fingers in the jars, great for keeping hygienic.

Directions – What I found useful was that each box had the directions stated on them but also had the directions on each product itself which is helpful if you are like me and sometimes throw out the instructions by mistake. They were easy to use instructions, nothing fancy, just straight to the point, advising you which other product to use next or before. I would have liked to have seen a Step By Step instruction though, i.e. which product to use first, next etc.

Fragrance – The one thing I react with having sensitive skin is fragrance so I was a bit anxious about how the fragrance would react with my skin. I didn’t need to worry though as there wasn’t any distinctive scent, no perfumes or talc’s present, just natural smelling scents. I didn’t have any reaction to any of these products which is a huge bonus for me.

Use of Products – Morning: I started with the Creamy Cleanser, which was lovely and creamy. then the Calming Serum (which is more a cream serum than an oil one) then followed by the Moisturising Cream (which is quite thick and heavy). Evening – I used the Creamy Cleanser again, but this time I applied the Restoring Oil (not a thick oil but not watery either) which was followed by the Moisturising Cream for extra hydration. I applied a tiny dab of the Eye Cream (a nice creamy consistency not too thick or thin) under each eye using my pinky finger, careful to avoid getting it too close to my eyes. I used the Hydro-Mask (a lovely thick and hydrating mask, smells really nice) a couple of times each week.

Overall Thoughts and Results – I was actually pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed applying all these products. Usually I would find it way too much to do every day morning and night, but my skin looks clearer, more firm and toned and hardly any blemishes at all. So a good improvement to how it was when I first started. I will be reviewing each individual product in the range for a more detailed review in a few more days once I've really given them the full trial possible. Sadly these products do not contain SPF so you will need to add this in.

The products will last quite a long time as they are all generous sizes. And for the length of time using them, the price is actually quite reasonable. I’m excited to keep using these to see what other results I will see.

Tips: Sometimes the thought of buying all products in the range can be daunting and pretty expensive. So if you can only purchase a few and not all, I would recommend definitely getting the Cleanser, Moisuriser, Calming Serum and/or the Restoring Oil as I believe these work really well when used together. The others are amazing too which you can add in if you feel your budget will allow at a later date. All of these products compliment each other so if you can afford them all, definitely purchase them.

Trilogy Sensitive Range

I was very lucky to be chosen for this trial and very excited to try it all out. My skin can only really be described as temperamental and frustrating. I have had rosacea on and off for many years, in my 40,s and still get breakouts occasionally and it fluctuates between oily and dry daily. I also randomly react to various products even things I may have used for years!

So anyway back to the products........ the packaging is very pretty and the brown glass looks nice displayed on the bathroom cabinet. There is no fixed instruction on what order to use the products in so I just experimented with using different things each day. My skin couldn't handle having all six products at once so I chopped and changed depending on my mood and skin condition on the day. All six products were very easy to use and not at all time consuming which is great when rushing in the morning. I really enjoyed using these and despite the high price tag would certainly consider repurchasing some of the range again. I will go into more detail of each in the individual reviews. While it's designed to use all six products in conjunction I see no reason why you couldn't just use some of them depending on budget.

Tips: Less is always more! You do not need much of each product meaning each should last quite a while

Trilogy Sensitive Range

I've tried all the products in the Trilogy Sensitive Range. There is an eye cream, moisturiser (day and night combined), mask, restoring oil, cleanser and calming serum. All the products are amazing. They are very rich and creamy and so gentle. I had had no problem using the products around the ultra sensitive eye area. My skin is very sensitive and I had no issues with using this products. I used the products twice a day. The creams have no fragrance. My sensitive skin has had no adverse effects. The creams come with a little spatula to ease of use but I preferred just using my finger tip. I would definitely try this product again. These products are a real treat for sensitive skin. After using these products continually for a couple of weeks, my skin feels very nourished and super hydrated.

Tips: Only use a little cream as it goes a long way.

What a range!

I'm 54 and have had sensitive skin all of my life. Over the years I've stuck to using a day cream and serum I've found to be gentle and non irritating. Trying to find a cleanser or my word, a masque/intensive treatment has only led to inflammation and irritation.

The Trilogy Sensitive range has been a delight. I finally feel I'm experiencing a full skin care regime, and my skin has never looked so fresh and calm. The range is a beautiful addition to my vanity and considering how little product you need to use at a time, it'll be an economical regime to maintain.

I'll summarise the range here, and go into more detail in my individual product reviews.

Cleanser - this cleanser is a revelation. It's so rich and luxurious but gentle and non-stripping. It leaves my skin feeling moisturised and calmed from the day.

Moisturising Cream - so smooth and beautifully absorbed. It's light enough for day wear, but I found myself applying a thicker layer for an intensive overnight treatment, with no ill effects to my skin!

Hydro-mask - the product I most fear was lovely! My skin felt super hydrated for a few days after using this!

Eye cream - great little product, felt wonderfully light on my delicate eye area and I felt has improved the appearance of my undereyes.

Calming Serum - so, so nice!! I was a bit reluctant to switch from my usual serum because it took me so long to find one that worked, but this is amazing. It really does soothe and calm my skin while leaving it feeling supple.

Facial Oil - this was the only product of the range I didn't really enjoy using. For me it was just too thick and didn't absorb as well as other products. But my daughter who has dry skin loved it.

Overall - brilliant range!

Tips: Keep the eye cream in the fridge for a cooling effect.

Trilogy Sensitive Range.

First of all i would like to thank the BR team for the opportunity to trial this range. I think we all know that Trilogy is a quality brand. This is evident in all the products and is also true of this range. All of the products contain macqui berry and all except the Facial oil contain Syricalm (see above info), and they all come in gorgeous brown frosted glass bottles or pots. The products that come in pots also come with little spatulas for hygienic removal. First the Very Gentle Cleansing Cream. This comes in a generously sized 200ml pump bottle and also contains camellia. White in colour and unscented, this beautiful cream cleansed my makeup off really well. Next was the Very Gentle Calming Serum. This also contains Calendula and is designed to be used after cleansing, before moisturising and/or during flare ups. In a 30ml bottle that comes with a pump, thin in consistency and unscented, this delivers a calming little moisture surge. The Very Gentle Eye Cream comes in 25ml pot and has Aloe Vera. A really pale yellow colour, i found that this caused my eyes to sting by the afternoons. I'm not sure if this was because it is quite oily or maybe i applied too much. Because of this issue, I use this at night. The Very Gentle Moisturising Cream has calendula and comes in a 60ml pot. White in colour, this is a beautiful moisturising cream that leaves my skin feeling soft and calm. I use this in the morning after applying the serum. My favourite product in the range would have to be the Very Gentle Restoring Oil. Golden coloured and smelling slightly of sesame oil(?), this contains apricot kernel oil and sea buckthorn oil. I know that these oils are really good after sun exposure, so i use three drops at night after serum application. Three drops is enough to cover my face, neck and decolletage. 30ml bottle that comes with a dropper. Lastly there is the Very Gentle Hydra-Mask. In a 60 ml pot and containing sweet almond oil, this is a lemon coloured pot of moisture. This product left my skin feeling ultra hdrated. While none of these products are particularly anti ageing, they will leave sensitive skin super plump with moisture. Like really, really hydrated. And to me, this helps to keep the wrinkles at bay. My skin was left calm and apart from the stinging eyes, no irritation.

Tips: Rub any of the leftover products into the back of your hands to deliver a little boost of goodies to the skin there.

Certainly suitable for sensitive skin

I was lucky enough to take part in this trial team testing all of the products in this range. Please note that I have combination oily skin which is also sensitive. I have enjoyed using all of these products but they have been hit or miss.

All of the products are gentle and therefore suitable for sensitive skin. I have had no reactions from any of the products. All of the products have also have little or no scent. The products have been calming to use and I do feel like it soothes your skin. I love that trilogy's products are made from natural ingredients.

All of the products in the range come in frosted dark brown glass packaging. The packaging is definitely not cheap looking. The packaging is easy to use and I like how the jars come with small spatulas which makes the product easy to apply. It also doesn't contaminate the jar and I also hate getting product suck under my nails!

My favourite product is the cleanser. It makes my skin feel really soft and supple. I would definitely repurchase this.

I would also repurchase the mask. The mask leaves your skin feeling super hydrated and moisturised. However it is very expensive but I think you would get a lot of uses out of the whole jar.

The moisturiser, serum, and oil were all great but there was nothing special about them. I will continue to use them but in not sure that I would repurchase these. I liked using them and thought they all moisturiser and hydrated my skin while also keeping redness down, however the results were not amazing.

The eye cream is probably my east favourite product out of the range. I didn't really think it did anything for my skin but I have found that with other eye creams. It might be because I don't have any fine lines or wrinkles under my eyes and therefore I don't experience the expected results.

Tips: Apply sunscreen after using these products as none of them contain SPF. I guess it's because some people are allergic to sunscreen.

Skincare Saviours!!

I was extremely excited to trial these, as I have very sensitive skin and always have a hard time finding products that my skin agrees with! The packaging of the whole range is cohesive, beautiful and classy, I really like the pale pink and white colour theme, and the frosted glass packaging gives it such a luxurious feel, weight and look. I was impressed that the products packages in a jar (the under eye cream, moisturiser and mask) came with a spatula, which is really helpful for getting the product out, especially when it is running low. Overall, I loved this range! It seems to fit my skin perfectly, the products are very gentle and really calming for my sensitive skin, but at the same time so hydrating for my dryness. I didn’t react to a single product, not even an inkling of redness, itchiness or inflammation. In fact, I have noticed an improvement in the redness and dryness of my skin since I have been using these products. There was not one product that I didn’t like, I feel that all of them worked really well on my skin! As a range, I think that the products compliment each other really well, it’s been really thought through carefully and these products have definitely been taking care of my skin. I don’t have anything bad to say about these products at all, and they did all work really well for my skin and I have been loving them. These products, however, are relatively expensive, and I probably wouldn’t be able to afford them all (being a poor student). If I was to repurchase or if I was thinking of buying the whole range, I would pick a few of these products, as I don’t feel all the products the whole range are essential or staple products. Personally, my top two favourites are the serum and cleanser. I also particularly liked the moisturizer and the hydrating mask for my dry skin. All in all, I love these products, and my skin loves them too.

Tips: As the products are relatively expensive, I would suggest buying one of two first!

Trilogy Sensitive Range - The Best Skincare Ever!!

I was super excited to be chosen for this product trial as I have very sensitive skin and nothing I have tried has worked to calm it, only irritated it. I am hoping that this range will work well with my skin and live up to my expectations.

Trilogy is a brand that I know has been around for as long as I can remember and it is a brand I trust. One big plus for me is that it is a natural brand and certified organic. I have been leaning more towards natural brands these days. The trilogy sensitive range consists of 6 products which are specifically designed and formulated for people with sensitive skin using natural and calming ingredients such as maqui berry, syricalm and camellia. This range is powerfully natural, dermatologically tested, certified by BioGro, supports ethical trade practices, non gmo, fragrance free and not tested on animals. All of the above are fantastic traits regarding this range.

The packaging is peach and white, very soft tones. I really like the pattern of the inside of the boxes. It’s quite hard to find the word to describe it but it’s quite a unique pattern. All packaging is recyclable. The products themselves are in recyclable bottles are jars. I believe they are called amber glass, some have a frosted look to them.

The 6 amazing products that you get in this range are: Cleansing cream, restoring oil, calming serum, eye cream, moisturising cream and hydra - mask.

I have been using this range daily for the past 3 weeks and I think it’s simply amazing! It has been such a positive rewarding experience and my skin has never been so good and calm before. As I am doing indiviual seprate reviews on each product I’ll give you a quick summary of each now.

Cleansing cream - very creamy and makes my skin feel so soft and smooth. I love how it has no smell and no irritation. Such a breeze to use and wash off.

Restoring Oil - not just your average oil. Makes my skin smooth and also smooths out lines and other imperfections. I have noticed that during the past 3 weeks.

Moisturising cream- just the right consistency, not too heavy. Super hydrating!

Eye cream - makes my under eye area look less irritated and has much more of a smoother appearance. Very hydrating.

Calming Serum - calms down irritation. I had some irritation up on my forehead, by my hair line after washing my hair and I applied the calming serum and the irritation just stopped and went away. I love this!

Hydra- Mask - Super hydrating, a very good mask.

Tips: With these 6 products, a little amount of product goes a very long way. I believe it is well worth the money. The only downfall is that this range does not contain any SPF. On the other hand SPF is not always In every skincare product anyway. I believe there is no SPF in it due to it could be a possible irritant to sensitive skin and also this range is certified organic and natural and it would probably be difficult to add it to that perhaps.

After using this range for the past 3 weeks I have reached the conclusion: I love this range! I honestly could not switch back to any other skin care. I swear by this range now and my skin has never been this good and well behaved! I fully recommend giving this a go if you have sensitive skin, Its simply amazing and you won’t be disappointed.
