L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Regime Reviews

I used these 3 products together over a 2 week period changing from an Olay combo of products. I definitely found it improved my skin texture and noticed my face was not as crinkled in the morning. I liked the SPF in the day moisturiser and the fragrance of all. Perfect for me and my skin.

Overall have found this regime easy to incorporate into my daily routine. My skin is looking fresher and firmer, and I especially love the night cream, and feel relaxed once I've got it on in the evening before bed. The price point is reasonable, but I would love to see L'oreal move towards more sustainable packaging practices, less plastic wrap, and maybe some sort of recyclable options for the containers.

Firstly the three products were packaged well and I like the containers which meant they are stackable taking up less room on my dressing table which is a bonus.

The products go well together and compliment each other well.

I am not sure I noticed any extra firm skin bit I did find my skin certainly was more nourished. I found the thickness of the day and night cream tended to keep moisture in and stopped the drying effects that I normally find can occur in my skin.

I found the day and night Revitalift cream a little too fragrant and long after using it I could smell the perfume. It wasn't unpleasant just a little overbearing for my tastes.

The eye cream was lovely to use but I can't say my crows feet have reduced any.

I've been trialing all 3 products since they arrived on my doorstep.

At a glance, all 3 creams are beautifully packaged in white glass jars with red screw top lids. They just look classy, and matchy matchy :) Thankfully the day cream and night cream have a different coloured line on them so you can tell them apart at a glance. When you're over 40 your eyes start failing and you can't always read the fine print!!

Each cream has a different texture and feels different on my face. The eye cream appears to be mid textured and absorbs nice and quickly into my skin, doesn't get rids of bags I'm afraid ladies. No frangrance that I can pick up to this one. The day cream, which is a shade of peach, seems to have the thinnest texture and not very much in the way of smell to it either. again absorbed nice and quickly into my skin

The night cream seems the heaviest cream and I was a little worried it would sit on my skin and feel heavy. This is the most highly perfumed of the 3 but is still quite subtle. Again, it absorbed very nicely into my skin.

Although I don't see any major differences, my skin definitely feels softer, plumper and more hydrated and the lines are marginally less - no change around the eyes though :(

All in all, I recommend it. Don't expect wonders however as although there is a slight difference to the appearance of my skin, it's more in the feel of my skin I've noticed results. I just hope it lasts.

So I have tried all three products which are targeted towards the over 40's.

I found all 3 to be really silky, thick creams which I loved. They absorbed so easily into the skin and didn't feel greasy or oily at all. My skin is on the normal to dry side.

All came in nice white jars and they all had a lovely perfume.

My skin certainly felt more hydrated in the morning and still has a glow at the end of the day, so I'm loving the moisturising affects!

Definitely a lovely skincare regime I would happily recommend for mature skin, and priced very reasonably I feel especially considering how a little goes a long way.

Firstly, thank you for selecting me to trial this regime. I was super excited to try out each of the products over the course of the last few weeks.

The outer packaging is where all the fine print is located. And there is a lot of it. There you can find everything you would want to know about the products right there on the box. The claims are in my experience well based. The formula of each of the creams is non-greasy, non-sticky, despite being of a thick consistency. I felt they melted into my skin leaving it smoothed, hydrated and after a few days my skin tone seemed more youthful and even. The opaque glass tubs have minimal information on them apart from a colour swatch to indicate the difference between day and night creams. The tub size is generous as only a small amount is required per application.

I am not sure how it works on wrinkles as i still don't have any at 37 (touch wood). But what I can say is each of the products smells and performs differently and is for different purposes.

The day formulation is SPF30 and the scent throws me back to my childhood when my mum used the (original formulation) oil of olay cream daily. I find the sweet powdery, slightly floral scent and the light apricot colour to be a memory match! It is so lovely and comforting in some old school way. The results were as to be expected. It's a moisturiser, not a magic 'grow a unicorn horm' potion, just a moisturiser, but a very good one if you like thick cream moisturisers.

The night cream has a pleasant scent like fresh clean linen. The consistency, like the day cream, is thick and the colour of the cream is white. I find with each of these creams only a small amount is required. I always seem to apply way too much.

The eye cream has a scent of cucumber and mint, is it uplifting and has a slightly less thickness to its consistency than the other two products. I am not sure if the eyecream did anything for me, I didn't notice any changes.

Overall I liked each of the products. They felt pampering and luscious on my skin. The condition of my combination skin (usually ash dry cheeks, oily T-zone, and 'hedge your bets' around the eyes) seemed well balanced in hydration with the night and day creams. I did have a few break outs with it though, I can't wholly attribute my breakouts to the cream itself, it was probably the change in regime that caused my skin the fright.

If you like thick heavy cream moisturisers then this regime is for you. Personally I love them and will definitely use them again.

I don't often use the same brand of cream for my day, nightband eye cream so this was a great opportunity to do just that. They are obviously made to work together so it makes sense that my skin would feel great after using all three creams for a number of weeks. This trial has only reaffirmed my belief in L'Oréal Paris skincare but also in using one brand for the whole skincare routine. I have noticed such a great improvement in my skin hydration, texture and the softening of my wrinkles. I also love that these products are easily accessible and are a great price. I will definitely continue to use these products and L'Oréal Paris in general.

All three products come in square pottles with screw on lids.

The eye cream is really cute as it comes in a miniature version of the day & night. It is a semi thick cream and has a small scent. Apply a small amount underneath your eye and gently dab along up towards your browline morning and night.

The day cream is less thick than the other two and is a Peachy pinky orange colour with your typical cream sent. Simply dab a few spots all over your face in the morning and rub in small circular motions until absorbed.

The night cream is a thick white cream with a slight present scent. Dab a few spots all over your face each night and once again apply in small circular motions until cream is absorbed.

I really have enjoyed trialling the Revitalift Regime and I'm definitely going to purchase a second lot of each cream to continue to use as so far my results are looking fantastic.

All of my lines around my eyes have become finer and my deep creases along my forehead have become less defined. All three creams absorb easily and are very pleasant to use. I did find that the day cream would leave my skin looking very shiny if I used too much so a little goes a long way. I feel like I have had a mini eyelift in the sense that the bag's under my eyes no longer look like bags, the skin in that area looks more firm and plump. My crows feet are definitely smaller.

I am very excited to see what difference another month or two could make using this regime and I would highly recommend.

I was sooo excited to trial this as I have a few wrinkles that I wanted gone!

Loved the little glass pots, instructions were clear and they were easy to use! I wasn't too fussed on the smell, they were all very strong smelling, my kids would ask me why I have sunscreen on!

The night cream is thick and goes on very nicely and feels great on, I love the feel of the eye cream, although I got very itchy and red eyes when I use it so I try not to use it every night.

The day cream is a lot thinner than the night cream and again feels lovely on, not greasy at all, but still has the strong sunscreen smell to it. I was really really hoping I would see a reduction in my wrinkles and fine lines but I haven't :( my skin however does have a little glow to it so for that reason I will still use these until the pots run out then I will go back to my natural cream I've been using. I have also found my skin has broken out in a few spots which isn't so nice :(

There's something rather luxurious about using products from all the same family group, rather than bits and bobs from different brands. And when you use a full regime, you know they're designed to work together and won't react with each other! The packaging is nice and classic L'Oreal, very streamlined and clinical looking, although you do have to stick your fingers into the tubs, which isn't very hygenic. The scent is replicated throughout and has that mumsy, talcum, old-fashioned, sweet sort of fragrance. (I can't describe it very well, but if you smell it, you'll be like - "yep - that's it exactly!") The day cream has more scent than the night cream, so if you're sensitive to smells, see if you can have a whiff first before you buy it. I was a bit worried about the Retinol additive - my skin has been known to break out with it, but these creams didn't have any adverse effect. I'm not sure whether that's because my skin has finally decided to behave itself, or whether the levels of retinol aren't very high.

The eye cream is lovely and moistuising and quite thick - a little goes a very long way! I'll be using this little tub for weeks and weeks, I think.

The day cream has an SPF 30 which is good (yay - I'm so tired of day creams saying they're wrinkle preventative and yet don't have an SPF, that's just stupid). It's also this weird apricot colour which is unusual, but doesn't turn your skin orange or anything. It's thicker than a lotion, but not heavy at all and is nice and softening for (ahem) aged skins like mine.

The night cream is thicker, but sinks in quickly - no messy pillowcases!

I didn't really notice a difference in my fine lines and wrinkles - it plumps out your skin alright, but I think most moisturisers do that. I did notice a difference in skin softening and it kept the texture of my skin nice and smooth.

All in all, it's a nice regime to use, nothing earth-shattering in skin technology or anything, but nice to have on the bathroom shelf :)
