Ecostore Skin Regime - Normal to Dry Skin

I used three products in this skincare regime - Gentle Cleanser, Hydrating Moisturiser and Replenishing Night Cream. The cream cleanser is a rich and creamy lotion cleanser. The moisturiser is nutrient rich - absorbs quickly into skin and leaves you feeling suitably hydrated set up for the day. The Replenishing Night Cream is a slightly heavier cream - set to restore and renew during the course of the night while you sleep.

All three products showcase lots of lovely New Zealand Ingredients including seaweed, grapeseed, harekeke extracts and kiwiseed and jojoba oils. These ingredients are great for promoting elasticity which is wonderful for dry, normal or mature skins.

The cleanser and moisturiser both have a pump so you can meter out the right amount to use so no waste and its lockable for traveling. I loved the glass container that the nightcream is packaged in giving it a sense of luxury.

Across the range the fragrance is the same which makes the products feel like they belong together. The smell is herbaceous and marine -like without being invasive, just kind of smells like a nice day at the beach!

I think these 3 products work well together, the routine is not overly complicated and makes me more inclined to use as 2 steps is pretty manageable ie Cleanse and Moisturise in the morning and Cleanse and Night Cream before bed.

Its easy to get hold of as I can purchase from my local supermarket. I think the price point is good value for money at $19.99 per product. After trying these I think I would definitely like to try the Facial Oil and the Exfoliater which are also in the range. I love being able to support New Zealand Made and Made from New Zealand Ingredients.

Tips: For Cleansing - 2 Pumps is enough cleanser for your whole face and neck, massage in semicircles over the face and neck and remove with a warm facecloth.

For Moisturiser and Nightcream - a small amount about the size of thumbnail is enough for the face and neck - massage in and then pat to finish for beautiful, radiant skin.

ecostore SKIN Regime

I have used these 3 products for the past 2 weeks. I love the packaging and smells they provide. Easy to use with nice smooth textures and easiness to apply to your skin. Using all 3 products makes your skin feeling cleansed and refreshed. Unfortunately for my skin, it didnt give the results i was hoping for. It made my skin break out and feel really dry. I am a real supporter of ecostore and still willing to try ecofriendly products.

Tips: good to use all three in one day for best results

Ecostore Skin Triple Regime

I was really keen to try the Ecostore Skin Care regime, as I love skin care that is based on natural products. I wasn't aware they had launced a skincare range, and as I use other Ecostore products, this was one of interest. The products I tried were the Gentle Cleanser, Hydrating Moisturiser, and Replenishing Night Cream. The packaging is stylish, with a marine feel, a strip of orange to green design down the side, and clear instructions & ingredients on the back of each box. Natural Ingredients across the products include Marine Bioactives (from seaweed), along with soothing Harakeke, EFA rich Blackcurrent Oil and Grapeseed Extract strong in Anti-oxidants, with the range aiming to hydrate, replenish and regenerate skin. Each in the range comes in a beige coloured container, and a green lid (a different green each). All of the products have a similar plant smell, which I personally found a little off-putting. The Cream Cleanser with calendula is in a 140ml pump bottle. It was creamy without being thick. Texture was almost silken, similar to a foaming cleanser than doesn't foam. Using a small amount, it was a decent cleanser however with heavier make up, I needed to use more. It washed off easily, and the smell didn't linger. The Hydrating Moisturiser came in a 40ml pump bottle, and I used it as a day cream. A beige coloured lotion, Immediately after application, my skin felt tight as if it was stripped of moisture, and had a 'grippy' feeling. My BB Cream did not apply smoothly, and I kept noticing the smell of it all day even though I had applied make up. I reacted to this product on the first day, with small bumps across my forehead and then cheeks, and after a few days break, I used once more and reacted again. I couldn't find anything in the chemical ingredients which had been an issue previously. I had to stop using. The Replenishing Night Cream came in a 50ml pottle, with a look that made me feel it was more upmarket than an average-priced night cream. Thicker than the hydrating moisturiser, but not as thick as an expensive rich night cream. Again, the same smell, however this didn't linger as long as the moisturiser had. I liked the texture and feel of this on my skin, however I have used other's which felt better. My skin still felt like it was wanting more. Overall, had I not had the reaction to the Hydrating Moisturiser, I would say this may be a nice skin care range for someone with normal skin wanting a natural plant-based skin care. However as I feel it didn't hydrated my skin, it was not for me.

Tips: Patch test each product 24 hrs prior to using.

Winning Combination

I really liked these products. They had beautiful but simple packaging that I thought deserved leaving on the counter top. The fragrance was pleasant and would be at home in both a man or woman's skincare routine. All three products delivered on their promise to hydrate in a natural way. What more could you ask for!

Great Range

I think a major draw card to these products is how natural they smell and how many natural ingredients are in these (but please be aware that they aren't 100% natural) All these products have a tawny brown colour but feel really lovely to use. Though they are a little bit more on the higher side, they are really worth it and really help to soften the skin. Unfortunately for me, the night cream broke me out but as a body treatment on specific areas (knees/elbows) it worked a treat at keeping them soft.

ecostore SKIN Regime

Contemporary packaging signalling this is an eco friendly product, each item easily definable by size and description. Overall a great regime, each item delivered what it said it would but the scent was a little off putting for me. The Cleanser was easy to apply and left my skin feeling clean but not tight. The Hydrating Moisuturiser felt light and yet moisuturising enough for day wear although I don't feel it has the active ingredients my aging skin requires now. The Replenishing Night Moisturiser felt rich and yet blended into my skin well. Again, not quite enough effectiveness for my ageing skin however. Would recommmend to friends in a younger age bracket, a great product at an affordable price point to nourish younger skin.

Tips: Be mindful of the scent if you are sensitive to products that have a smell you may not like.

ecostore Skin Regime

This easy to use skincare range felt soothing and calming on the skin. I would recommend to sensitive skin types as well as I had no irritation or redness on use. The light natural fragrance adds to the feel good factor that is also a benefit of the range. The packaging is fresh and clean and the pump applicators for the cleanser and daily moisture lotion were a huge plus for me! I also really enjoyed that the night cream comes in a glass jar, adding to that plush, up market feel about this range. A great basic range for those new to a skincare regime but with the added benefit of extra additions also to the range - I look forward to trying the serum and mask! A great addition to the ecostore range of cruelty free natural products for the whole family. It feels good knowing that the products you are applying don't contain any chemical nasties. The products are refreshing and my skin felt soft, clean and soothed.

Tips: Check out the rest of the ecostore products for the whole family and home.

A bit meh

I was so happy to get on this trial, thought I might be finding my perfect match. The packaging was nice, I appreciated the simplistic design. The cleanser went on nice and smoothly. The daytime moisturizer complimented the cleanser well. The night cream is rich! I put it on on the evening and still felt the rich residue in the morn. This was too rich for me as I proceeded feel the tell tale breakout signs through the day. My big issue with the regime is the smell. It wasn't horrible but definitely didn't scream "pamper". This is where my title comes in... it was "meh".

Not suited to my skin or preference

I found these products too highly fragranced for my liking. They did compliment each other and had matching packaging so work well as a trio. The cleanser and moisturiser did not do a good enough job for my skin. The night cream was sufficient.

Tips: Try this if you enjoy highly fragranced products and just need a light day moisturiser.

ecostore products work well together as a regime

I honestly find it offputting that the 'non-flavoured' Eco Store products smell exactly the same whether it's dishwashing liquid or moisturiser but I pressed on.

The packaging of the ecostore SKIN Regime seems premium - a glass pottle for the night cream and sturdy plastic pump bottles for the cleanser and moisturiser. Each of the products features single colour branding in a different colour.

I use the cleanser twice a day, which is also efficient in the removal of my makeup also at night. I follow this with either the moisturiser or night cream depending on the time of day.

I don't love the cleanser, it's an unusal consistency, neither foamy nor creamy. It's beige and kind of melts on to my face rather than creating a lather. The moisturiser however I do love as it both absorbs nicely and sits quite happily under my foundation and keeps me moisturised without drying out or going greasy throughout the day.

The night cream I am also fast becoming a fan of. It feels cooling and glides on and absorbs beautifully. I'm all for the promised enhanced skin elasticity but will give it more time to see those results.

They certainly work well together as a regime. My skin is clear, feels clean and fresh. No breakouts and neither dry or greasy. The range totally suits my skin type, I love the eco qualities, the physical packaging and price points ($19.99 each, I think my usual moisturiser alone amounts to the same worth of these three products combined yet I see no reason to pay that much for it's perceived benefits!).

Tips: They certainly
