Maybelline Clean Express Total Clean Express Eye and Lip Makeup Remover Review

absolutely love this Oil free based eye and lip makeup remover, I have sensitive skin due to my excema which my skin can only handle certain makeup removers. I found this product to be very gentle on my skin especially around my eyes and on my cheeks.

This bi-phase makeup remover has to be shaken before use to mix the components which are separate.

I find this is brilliant not only for removing a face of makeup but for tidying up stuff ups during application. A little bit on a cotton tip can be dabbed on the mistake and quickly fixed without making a mess.

Used on a cotton pad it quickly removes even the most staying eyeliner or lip colour. Use on a cotton tip to get right to the lash line.

Having oil in it I find it feels a bit icky. A quick wipe with a face cloth fixes that.

If mi-cellar water won't take it off, this will!

I have sensitive eyes and this product was quite gentle. It felt good to use, caused no irritation and took off my eye makeup easily. It removed eye shadow, base and with an extra application several layers of mascara.

This is the ideal product to be used by a person who uses quiet a lot of makeup on a daily basis. I am a person who has long makeup routine for almost six days of the week and this is my hero at the end of a tired day. Helps to gently and quickly remove all makeup. Gentle on eyes no need of harsh rubbing.

I am always on the look out for that one product that you can use in one clean motion to remove eye makeup, as no matter what I have used you end up tugging out lashes, or rubbing your eyes as you remove the makeup that you cause the area to become damaged.

After seeing this on Instagram I popped a bottle into my Countdown shopping trolley to see if It was ay good, unfortunately I didn't even bother to finish the bottle off before I got rid of it.

The clear acrylic bottle allows you to see the contents plainly which is great if you love this product as you can gauge when you are reaching the bottom to get a new one. With a white flip top lid that has a small hole where the liquid flows through so you don't make a huge mess as you saturate a cotton wool pad. The contents, a clear liquid has very little scent to it and has the texture of water.

Soaking a cotton wool pad, I placed it onto my closed eyelid, which had eyeshadow, liquid liner and waterproof mascara. Mentally counting to 5 in my head I then dragged the wool pad off hoping to draw with it all the makeup. However hardly anything did budge, I was staring back at the wool pad with only the faintest smudge of black from the makeup on. I threw them away and re-tried leaving the pads on the eye area for longer and pressing into my eyelids gently, again once pulled back hardly anything had budged so I ended up having to pull the mascara from my lashes, and rub at the eye area to remove all traces. Highly unimpressed! I know the damaging effects of rubbing your eyes aggressively, how it can encourage the onset of wrinkles, damage the area with bruising and enhance the puffiness of under eye circles. So for me this product was a waste of money and did leave my eye area red from rubbing, and resulted in an increase of under eye bags for the following few days.

That being sad it wasn't an aggressive product, it was gentle on the eyes, with no stinging or irritation occurring.

Maybelline is one of those well known reliable brands so when I came across "Maybelline Clean Express Total Clean- Express Eye and Lip makeup Remover for the small price of around $10 how could I say no? Small plain bottle of 70ml so makes it easy for travel and fits into any makeup bag, writing on the bottle not all that easy to read but we all understand the way to use it. The fact that is dermatologist and allergy tested is great for me having dry sensitive skin and i have alot of allergies and this product was great to use.

So they say this is for the eyes and lips which it removes product really well, leaves a small amount of residue but not a horrible amount and its even nice and gentle on the eyes, I do suggest wiping any excess off the lips it doesn't feel that nice.

But surprisingly what amazed me about this product was that it removed Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation in a breeze, that product is waterproof making it extremely difficult to remove but this little gem removed it and only using a small amount, onto a makeup remover pad and wiped my face and off all my makeup came, it was fantastic, it easily removes all waterproof makeup, I didn't break out and my skin was ready to prep for the next day or for my night time routine.

Great Job Maybelline this is a product that I will continue to purchase for many years to come, this product has no scent so that means n added perfumes which is even better.

I got this before I got the garnier micellar cleansing water and I must say it is alot like it apart from its 70mls and its a higher price. I apply it to a cotton pad then wipe the cotton pad all over my face using around a fifty cent peice of the product. Although it says its for eye & lips i also use it for foundation etc. It doesnt have a smell. It says on the bottle that it is ment to remove stubborn and waterproof makeup it does just that! in saying that it is a little bit more oilier then garnier micellar cleansing water which is the only thing stopping me from buying it again but if garnier micellar cleansing water was to disappear off this earth for some strange reason, I would have no problem buying this again! 70mls has lasted me just over a month as i finished it today. I like the packaging it's girly and tells you everything you need to know on the back plus the lid screws on so there is no way that any of the product is going to leak any where. I can get quite sensitive skin and this was fine to use! it did what it said it would do and worked well. I would reccommend it to a friend.

I have been searching for an ideal eye makeup remover for a while now. I came across this and thought I might as well give it a try.

Im pleasantly surprised. The Maybelline Clean Express Total Clean Express Eye and Lip Makeup Remover gently removes all makeup from the eyes and lip area. It removes mascara so easily which I LOVE about this as I have trouble finding a product that removes mascara gently.

I am so impressed with this product, I will be repurchasing and I do recommend this product to everyone.

This makeup remover does it's job swiftly and gently-and that's what I like most about it, especially when I'm trying to get eye makeup off on the delicate eye area. All you have to do is dab a little on your cotton pad, and glide it over your skin light. Ta-da, all your makeup is off! (Even the waterproof stuff)

I only use this for my eyes, though you can use it to remove face makeup too, if you want.

The only complain I have is it's price and availability: I don't see it around anymore. Does anyone know where I can find it? I'm almost out :(

I love this eye and lip makeup remover. It comes in a simple cute bottle and it just seems to last forever! I hate that greasy feeling you get after removing your makeup with some removers but this one didnt leave a grease trail behind it. Its gentle on the skin around my eyes and really gets all the mascara off quite easily. I dont have to wipe over and over and over, again and again, irritating my eyes It just takes a couple swipes. Which is always great because how many times have you wanted to just crash in bed after a night out but you have to take your nights 5 layers of makeup off. This ensures I dont spend an hour trying to get all my eye makeup off.

This is my favourite remover. It works for me, my handbag and my budget :)
