Lush Lip Scrub Review

I absolutely love the LUSH Lip Scrub. I have only used the Mint Juleps one so far but it is absolutely divine!! The Mint Juleps smells exactly as it sounds, like mint chocolate! As mint and chocolate is my favourite combination for anything sweet this sugar lip scrub from LUSH is perfect for me. You don’t need to use much on your lips and apply it, with a clean finger, all over your lips and the just rub your lips together to scrub off that dead skin!! I do find it a little bit hard to apply as the mixture is quite dry and can fall off your finger easily. I like to use this once or twice a week, and always before applying any of my lips stains, to create a smooth canvas for my stain o go on nicely. I bought this just over a month ago and I still have half of it left which make sit totally worth its price of $12.50. I love the little pottle packaging it comes in as you can see the beautiful colour and it sits nice and compact on my dresser. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who uses lipstick and stains every day as it really does create the perfect canvas!

I have the popcorn flavour and it smells and tastes really amazing. I normally have really dry and flakey lips but this really honestly helps, I usually use it after brushing my teeth. I moisturise my lips after and they stay smooth for ages! You only need a tiny bit as well. It comes in like 5 flavours I think and they're all completely edible so there aren't any baddies in it like a lot of other lip scrubs

I recently bought the bubblegum lip scrub. One word - Amazing. It comes in a cute wee container and I swear you can smell the product with the lid on. It's quite a fine, powdery texture so I use my (slightly dampened) finger to lift some product then scrub on my lips and lick it off - yummy! I generally follow on with a simple lip balm. The exfoliation really stimulates the blood in my lips and they feel nice and plump after. Would definitely recommend this product to everyone.

when my flatmate came home with this for me i was sceptical in using this as i can have sensitive skin and am wary of using many scrubs but have always had the issue of dry lips when using matte liquid lipsticks. i found this easy to use and tasted great which is a bonus

In the past I have used a toothbrush and raw sugar to buff flaky lips, but I'll never go back to that after trying this yummy product. I bought the popcorn lip scrub and have been using it far more than necessary because it tastes so good! Even my partner is addicted :P

My lips were left soft and supple after use, but they did need a little lip balm. This product is great for removing lip stain and the like, which is a wonderful aspect :) it is a little messy but that's part of the fun

This product has a very strong flavour that may be a bit too much for some people (not me) This product is extremely good at smoothing out lips but is extremely easy to overuse due to it's enchanting and addictive flavour.I love the packaging of this product, It is small enough to take anywhere with you! Although the writing on the sticker in very easy to scratch off.

Love love love this product. My lips always feel so amzing after exfloliating them. I love the chocolate mint scrub as well as the bubblegum one. They taste great too. My only negative which is so minor is that they are messy to use but that's a small sacrifice when you get such a fantastic lip delight. I have trouble keeping my lip scrub out of the hands of my kids.

I absolutely love Lush products!

I love going into the store and picking out yummy smelling products. One of my favorite products is the Lip Sugar Scrub and I know that I could DIY this product but I always return to Lush as I love the packaging and it lasts forever.

I have finished off the bubblegum scrub and just bought a new mint sugar scrub. It leaves my lips silky smooth and I just use some lip gloss afterwards to keep them moisturised. The taste is so yummy and minty sweet too.

The only downside of the product is it could be a little pricey for what it is. I think a reasonable price would be about $8 and I paid $12.50.

Upsides: This is great for chapped lips, it removes flaking/peeling skin from your lips and leaves them feeling much smoother and softer. Perfect for severely chapped lips. A little goes a long way and this product lasts a while.

Downsides: The flavours/scents are in my opinion very overpowering and sickly sweet. For something that goes on my lips I hate the nasty taste of this product, it's like putting vaseline in your mouth. Application is quite messy as the sugar scrub is quite dry and the sugar tends to go everywhere (however I've heard that the consistency varies)
