I purchased this product last Winter when my usually combo/oily skin turned a little dry. I wanted a product that would give my skin a generous boost of hydration without interfering with my makeup. I selected a night cream and this mask, and continued to use my lighter creams in the morning. I used this mask once a week for three months and I was really pleased with the results.
The mask has a thick, gel consistency that is almost clear. It applies smoothly to the face and leaves the skin shiny. The mask can either be washed off or left on overnight. I opted to leave mine on overnight. After half an hour it felt like a standard night cream so it didn't feel yucky to sleep in - although it will attract any fluff from your pillow!
After rinsing my face the next morning the results were incredible. My skin was soft, silky smooth glowing and plump. My makeup applied incredibly well and the results would last for the next five days. Although it had become slightly dehydrated, my skin was still blemish prone and this mask did not break me out. My skin was sometimes oily yet still dehydrated and this is the perfect product for that.
I no longer use the mask as my skin type has changed to oily, with no signs of dehydration or dryness. However, I would reach for it again if I had any dry patches. This is a luxurious treat that has great results if you don't mind paying a higher price.
This is so so good if like me you have terrible dry skin! It seriously is like a big glass of water for your skin, I love this for an instant fix for dry skin. I used this every third day for a start then cut back to once a week as I noticed my skin wasn't so dry.
It comes in a super easy to use squeeze tube with a flip top lid that it sits on. No shaking bottles to get the product out no putting fingers into the product!
The consistency of this is very similar to the neutrogena hydro boost range. It's a very light blue colour and it's more like a gel than a cream it is easy to apply and it absorbs very fast. It has a very faint fresh scent it's quite pleasant.
I leave it on for 20 minutes or until it has dried a bit then just wipe the rest away with a face cloth. I have also left it on over night and had no problems it just felt like any other night cream and I woke up with plump skin because Not only does it help with the dryness I have also noticed it has plumped my skin and my face looks fuller. I can't recommend this enough if you have dry skin and are looking for an instant boost.
