L'Oreal Paris Pure Clay Purifying Eucalyptus Mask Review

I have pretty dull skin and this revived it in 15 minutes, such a good buy! The clay mask didn't really have a smell and applys to the face really nicely, it is thick so it doesn't slide off your face and starts to harden pretty fast. I probably applied too much the first time I used it but I did find it was a bit of an effort to get it off with a soft cloth, is easier to do in the shower.

Made my skin softer than I have ever felt it, it looked just as good as it felt.

For $24 I would have like less bulky jar and more product, or a squeezy tube or single use option for travel would be great too.

I am quite fond of face masks, especially clay based ones. This one is creamier than the ones I've previously used, the consistency is almost like a lotion and very smooth.

I like the eucalyptus scent especially, it reminds me of the Origins Out of Trouble mask that I really loved before Origins pulled out of the region.

It's easy to apply and spreads really well. Because it's creamy it can be applied thinly but I prefer to have a decent coverage around my T zone area - you can see where the oil on my nose is being sucked up by the clay. There is some slight tingling sensation which I guess is from the eucalyptus, I find it pleasant.

Rinsing is simple and fuss free. It comes off easily with warm water and I feel like there's definitely some matting effect. The clay isn't too drying at all.

I was excited to try this mask out - my oily t zone has been causing me problems lately and I was determined to get it sorted.

Now i'm not a huge fan of anything that comes in a pot. I dislike having to stick my fingers in and scoop product out and this was no different.

So far i've used this three times in the past week and will continue to do so. My pores feel like they had a deep cleanse and it hasn't irritated my normally picky skin!

BUT the real jem of this item is using it as a spot treatment overnight. Whaaaaat I hear you say?

Yep if you have any angry spots appearing simply dab a bit of the mask on it and leave overnight! Some might flake off onto your pillow but it absorbs the pimple like a treat. I had two very deep ones appearing on my chin and nothing would make them shift.

Will keep using this in my t zone and as a spot treatment a huge thumbs up for me

I have an oily T zone and I wear glasses which creates an oily nose with blackheads. I was excited to use the Pure Clay Mask as it claims to deeply cleanse and mattify the skins texture.

I used the recommended 2-3 times a week and found it easy to apply a thin layer over my face. It contains eucalyptus so has that lovely clean smell and as it's creamy, it's easy to spread it on thicker over the oily spots (which is also recommended). It's simple and easy to rinse off and my skin didn't feel dry, in fact I found that my skin felt really clean and soft after using.

Having used this for only a week, I have really noticed improvements in my skin tone and the oiliness has decreased. I will definitely be buying this again!

This has fast become one of my favorite masks to use, and it's gentle enough for me to actually use a few times a week - bonus.

I love how light it feels when applied, and yes as it dries it gets tighter, but over all I find it really comfortable to wear. Often with clay masks my face starts to almost pulsate with the tightness, but I dont get that with this product.

I also really enjoy the fact that as it dries you can see all the oil coming out of my pores, they appear as little dots against the green. It is recommended that you apply a thin layer which I apply using a brush, then sit back and relax. Putting it on to thick wont add any benefits other lang a longer drying time and waste of product. The packaging is nice with the same mint green as the rest of this clay range, but nothing amazing, very simple. I will definitely be re-purchasing this product, and it's great value for money as it will last me quite a few applications because you really don't need much.

I love this mask! I was sent this to trial and review and was honestly very impressed after just one use! It is a clay based mask which is perfect for my oily skin. The packaging is lovely and comes in a heavy glass jar with very clear instructions. After just one use, my skin felt tighter, clearer and definitely matt and seemed to stay this way for several days after! The pores on my cheeks and nose looked noticeably smaller and cleaner. Super impressed. I love essential oils so was very pleased with the eucalyptus scent, it was very fresh but not overpowering. Will definitely be continuing to use this product until gone.

So excited to recieve this as part of a trial review. This product comes in a glass square jar with a white top lid. The glass is see through so you can see the mint green clay contents. Stronger smelling Eucalyptus scent than the Clay facial wash.

I applied this mask with a foundation brush for precise application. Instructions were to apply a thin layer on the face. I also applied a bit more on the chin, nose and forehead where I tend to get clogged pores and more oil buildup. The mask had completely dried down within the first 7 minutes. It felt very tight.

Results:Once I had rinsed the mask off I noticed my face looked completely declogged. Skin is matte and really smooth. My nose has 90% less black and whiteheads. My partner even noticed that difference after the first application. I have never had a face lift but I imagine this might be what one looks like. Skin is tight and toned, my face looks slimer.

This mask is unlike anything else I have tried before. It's like a multi purpose:exfoliator, pore mask, smoothing and brightening mask all in one. Unexpected results. I was not expecting it to work so well. A new firm favourite in my beauty routine.

This is a lovely mask which spreads nicely and washes off easily. My skin feels cleaner and refreshed. The light eucalyptus scent is also very nice. I'm not sure if my skin is more mattified though but my pores definitely feel good. I think I would prefer this mask squeezed from a tube though the jar looks more cuter.

I received a sample of this - the sample was super generous so I got 3 uses out of it. You don't need to use too much of this product to reap the benefits so wouldn't recommend caking it on!

Being clay I was expecting this mask to be too drying for my skin, however it was the complete opposite. Firstly the product is lovely and smooth - not grainy. It has a pleasant smell - slightly perfumed, which I didn't mind. It applies easily and quite evenly as well. As it dries it firms up but doesn't feel tight. 10-15 minutes is all that was needed... Rinsing off, my skin was bright and clear and felt fabulously soft. I popped on a facial oil, and moisturiser and my skin felt great.

I was really impressed with this face mask. It worked well with my skin and felt it made a real difference in tone and brightness. A winner for me!
