Evolu Soothing Eye Gel Review

I received a sample of Evolu Soothing Eye Gel inside the Evolu Travel Tower that I purchased.

This transparent Soothing Eye Gel relieves, cools, calms and refreshes the eye area, while reducing puffiness.  It contains Aloe Vera, Eyebright extract, arnica and Mamaku fern extract, is fragrance-free, although it does have a slight fresh, clean Aloe Vera smell, and is perfect for hypersensitive or stressed skin.

I found that this non-irritant gel formula was readily absorbed by my skin, and it has a non-oily, gel-like feel, which makes it really pleasant to use, especially at the end of a long day when my eyes are feeling tired.  It's a wonderful eye gel and I'd definitely consider purchasing a full sized tube.

This is the second eye cream that I have ever used. I have only added eye cream to my routine this year. I picked up this 10ml sample and have been using it for the last 2 and a half months.

It smells like aloe vera and has a clear gel consistency. The first thing I notice is that it has a cooling sensation. So can wake you up in the morning. Eye area does look refreshed also. I can't say I have noticed any improvement to the couple of minor eye wrinkles that I have. Absorbs quickly into the skin and it's not oily.

I am not in love with this product though I believe it does an adequate job.

I am a total floozie when it comes to eye creams, always on the hunt for one that really makes a visible difference to my under eye lines which are rapidly emerging. I picked this up as I am a fan of evolu products in general, and like the natural NZ ingredients.

This is a quite generous 25ml tube with a pump top opening- a little unusual for an eye cream in my experience. The gel is clear and feels lovely and cooling to apply, really soothing tired undereyes. Unfortunately, this is where this product falls apart for me, as it settles into the skin it dries leaving the skin feeling a little tacky and tight, almost like you have applied egg whites on the skin then allowed it to dry. After a few hours this was flaking off the eye area, not at all impressed.

I will pass this on to my mum in the off chance that this agrees with her skin more as I simply dont like the way this settles on my skin. Will not be repurchasing.
