One of my new year's resolutions was to try and be more environmentally conscious, so I was very happy to be on the trial team for this organic micellar water. I've very sensitive skin so having minimal chemicals is actually quite important to me anyway.
This comes in a huge bottle (which I suspect will last me months) with a simple flip lid. It's easy to squeeze out onto a cotton pad and I feel I have a good control how much comes out. The micellar water has a faint herby 'natural' smell of some sort of plant which takes some getting used to. I don't really like the smell but knowing that it's not artificially scented makes the smell worth it.
It removes my daily BB cream and eyeshadow/eye brows etc with ease. There's no scrubbing needed and my skin feels nice and fresh afterwards. It's a bit of a struggle against waterproof makeup, which doesn't surprise me considering it's just a micellar water. I can maybe rub off eyeliner with it but it doesn't stand a chance against my waterproof mascara.
Overall a great micellar water that performs just as well as all the previous ones I've used. Depending on the price of it BR might have just converted me to buy this the next time I run out!
I tried this several times instead of my usual go to Micellar. And I wasn't a fan. First it has a really strange smell. Not a pleasant one at all. It definitely does what it is supposed to. It removes make up of my face with ease. It took some convincing around eye makeup, a wee bit of scrubbing to get the dregs of mascara off. It doesn't feel like anything on the face, doesn't leave an oily or sticky complexion which I also enjoyed. Compared to my usual, this isn't something I would gravitate towards again.
