Garnier Micellar Water Vitamin C

I received this as part of a beauty trial and was really excited to try it as I love Vitamin C products for brightening my complexion. I've been using it in the evenings before bed and have also used it ahead of sleeping masks to see how it performs with other products.

It came in a large bottle, with the standard flip-open top. Very easy to use and doesn't leak, but I'm not sure I would rely on it staying closed if I were travelling.

The first morning (after using it the night before, with no sleeping mask) my skin was noticeably clearer and brighter, and no new blemishes. I continued using this without sleeping masks for a few nights, and didn't have any continued brightening but my skin still remained mostly clear barring a couple of hormonal acne spots.

I tried this with sleeping masks - specifically the Glow Recipe Watermelon mask and the Drunk Elephant T.L.C Framboos Glycolic Night Serum with the Drunk Elephant F-Balm ElectroLyte Waterfacial Masque - and it worked well with these also. My masks went on smoothly and didn't have any other unwanted reactions.

Overall I definitely have enjoyed using the Micellar Water and will purchase it again when I have run out. I would also like to see if in a variety of sizes in case I needed a smaller one for travelling or in my makeup bag while out and about.

Overall, I found this micellar water really nice to use. First of all, it has a lovely, clean smell! I found it removed my makeup quite easily, particularly mascara, as that is what I wear most of. It says there is no rinsing required after using the product, but I found it left a slightly sticky feel on my skin for a while afterwards, so I still washed my face separately. It wasn't an oily product, which some makeup removers can be, so that was really nice, and there was no shaking required to mix any of the product. It also didn't sting at all, especially when removing eye makeup, which was great. Overall, a nice and effective product to use, but I would always wash my face after using it.

I was excited to try this product as every micellar water seems to be the typical rosewater scent so it was nice to try a different kind. I like the citrusy scent it gives off, not too much at all. The idea of putting vitamin c into my skin is great. I have not taken too much notice of brighter skin but in saying that, I do wear makeup every day and cover it up. However, vitamin c can only be doing good for our skin either way, right? It is a watery liquid but it goes very far and the bottle will last ages. It is super easy to apply with makeup wipes and it takes my makeup off really, really well and leaves my skin feeling really nice and clean afterwards and not dry at all, like some other cleansing products can, and feels clean for hours afterward. The price is reasonable considering how long the bottle will last. As long as you do not squeeze the bottle too much when pouring it out, it is a good design and you do not need much at all. The packaging is appealing and stands out, being yellow. I would recommend this as I think it is a great product for sensitive skin and it just makes your face feel really fresh afterwards and clean and you know you know you have done good for your skin!

I love this micellar water!! Firstly it removes makeup amazingly and makes the process super easy, even when removing eye makeup like mascara. I also love using it on no makeup days to help remove dirt and buildup from throughout the day. I applied a small amount to a cotton pad and gently wiped my face. It instantly starts to remove the makeup and made my skin feel clean. It was gentle on my skin and around my eyes, I had no irritation whatsoever. And omg the scent, it smells amazing. After using the micellar water my skin felt clean and fresh. It gave my skin a healthy looking glow and it looked hydrated. Skin feels and looks great afterwards, no dryness or tightness feeling. I love the addition of vit c to this product. I feel it definitely does illuminate and brighten the skin. I love how its hypoallergenic and the bottle being all made from recycled plastic is just perfect. I really enjoyed this product and it will definitely keep to bring part of my daily routine

Vitamin C is known to help skin glow. As the product also claims to give a glow to skin. I got the glow after I removed my makeup with it in first go. Even my husband noticed lol! I have sensitive skin, it didn’t give me any tingling sensation nor it irritated my eyes. There is a subtle scent of lime which I found refreshing. I had no trouble in removing makeup with it. The packaging is nice and the amount of product is very good for its value. I highly recommend this product.

I have always struggled with Micellar water in the past, it often stung around the eyes and didn’t remove makeup as thoroughly as I would like. At the moment, because of mask wearing, I’m not wearing foundation but continue to wear eye makeup. I found that this micellar comfortably removed oil residue from my skin and didn’t cause any stinging when removing eye make up. And yes, skin does look a little brighter after use. It is easy to use, does what it says on the bottle and left my skin feeling clear and hydrated. It’s not my favourite removal / cleanser product, but it does the job.

If you’ve tried any of garniers other micellar waters then you’ve basically experienced this one. They’re pretty much the same in consistency and effectiveness. Now that’s not a bad thing! They work as they say they do, and are a decent price!

The consistency is very liquidy, which I have never minded in the past but recently I’ve been using a more creamy and thick micellar product so in comparison to that I don’t love how watery this product is, as I feel like it leads me to use more to remove my makeup.

It smells great with the vitamin C, a citrusy smell that does make me feel like my face is more refreshed after use. I’m super clumsy and managed to get a lot in my eyes and that didn’t hurt at all either which is also a plus.

The packaging is pretty standard and easy to use, flip open the lid, pour onto a cotton pad and wipe off your makeup.

It managed to get off some stubborn eyeliner of mine pretty well, but I feel like I’ve used better makeup remover products in the past. It didn’t upset my sensitive skin whatsoever which was very appreciated.

Overall I think it’s about what you expect for the price, does the job and smells great.

I use the Garnier Micellar Water Vitamin C every night before bed to remove makeup and clean my skin. I love it! It's so effective and a light, gentle product. I use it with a reusable makeup pad which is effective. I have sensitive skin and it doesn't effect my skin at all, so I recommend it if you have sensitive skin. My skin looks brighter and even after using it. I love that it's made sustainably, cruelty free and with recycled packaging. Really recommend this if you need a gentle product to brighten, remove makeup and cleanse your skin.

I loved this product because usually when I get home I am too tired to do a full intense makeup clean, this is so quick and easy to remove make-up without make your skin feel dry. You also feel super refreshed afterwards because of the vitamin C which revives and brightens your skin.
