Garnier Micellar Rose Water Clean & Glow Reviews

On arrival I was impressed by the size of the bottle. 400ml will keep you going for ages! The bottle itself is really pretty, the slightly rose coloured water looked refreshing and the lid is easy to pop open one handed if needed and when closed feels secure enough to travel with. I’m very much into fragrances but for once this one didn’t grab me, however it doesn’t put me off using the product in the future. First use I had a full face of makeup, I used a large cotton round and fully saturated it. It took the bulk of my foundation off and softened and removed most of my mascara, I used a second cotton round with a dash of the rose water to finish the job. My skin felt clear and refreshed and the fragrance wasn’t overwhelming. Over the next few days I enjoyed using this product, its much like the first Garnier Micellar Water in terms of working well with makeup removal and a one step cleansing solution. Overall its another good, handy and easy product to use.

I’ve never really been a fan of micellar water I just find that it takes a lot of product to actually remove any make up but this one is by far the best I’ve used, I can get a whole face of make up off including eye make up in 3 little cotton pads and I wear a lot of make up at times, so I found this amazing compared to the other ones I’ve used, I definitely think this product could have changed my opinion on certain micellar waters, and this is so gentle on the skin and smells absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend this product, it doesn’t leave your face feeling sticky like other micellar waters do and it honestly gives you a glow which is exactly what you want and leaves your face feeling super hydrated. I will most definitely be buying this again once it’s run out!

I am very impressed with the Garnier Micellar Rose Water Clean & Glow. The size at 400mls is generous and claims to last for 200 uses, which would be easy to accomplish as the watery consistency means you don't need much to soak a cotton pad. The bottle has an easy pouring nozzle and secure lid to keep contents safe when not in use. The product smelt quite strongly of rose water upon first opening (surprise surprise), however the distinct floral fragrance was not overpowering enough to stop me from using it. I used the micellar rose water to remove a full face of make up, and was very impressed at how easily the make up, including eyeliner, mascara and lipstick, just wiped off with the soaked cotton pad. There was no eye irritation, and my skin felt clean and fresh. I also used the product as part of my usual cleansing routine, and love how easy it is, especially that I don't have to rinse it off! It seems to remove dirt and oil from my pores, and worked as a toner, making my pores visibly tighter. I feel it does leave a 'natural glow' as claimed, although I did not notice a 'dewy complexion'. All in all, I think this is a great product at a very reasonable price, and it does what it says. A fresh and light cleanser that I would happily use again or recommend.

I have heard alot over the years about the properties and benefits of rose water but have never tried a product with it, until now. The Garnier micellar rose water clean and glow was a welcome change in my routine. It smells lovely and is super easy to use. I chose to use it with reusable cotton pads which worked a treat. I love how thos product made my skin feel and noticed a recent breakout was easing quicker than it normally does. My skin felt clean and comfortable not tight or dry which was awesome. I didn't quite get the glow but I would definitely keep using it to hopefully achieve this facet.

I love the Garnier Micellar Rose Water! It removes my make up beautifully and doesn’t take much to get it off. My skin is left glowing and feels fresh and dewy; it even gently cleaned my lash extensions. I love the subtle but pretty scent of the Rose Water too, it’s not over powering and my skin smells amazing after using. My skin is left radiant and soft, it is not drying at all. I will definitely use this again!

As a new convert to micellar water I was stoked to be able to try this. I found the smell delightful, the consistency nice, and I found it did a great job of taking off my makeup that was left over. It was gentle on my fake eyelashes. It was a good pack size, and I'm not sure of the price point but it is generous. After a shower it was great at taking off remaining smudge eye make up! I would buy this over normal micellar water because I liked the colour, smell and pack size. I also didnt find it drying

i was offered this for reviewing, thanks! the bottle is just like the others in the brand... its very easy to use. i love the smell of this one though, its just divine. ive been using it all week to remove my make up, i don't wear a lot of it, but it worked really well, i didn't need much of it to get it all off. so a little goes a long way. It takes makeup off with ease. Its also great for no makeup days when you feel like you need to freshen your face up a bit. gives it a nice clean with a lovely glow after. i have super sensitive skin so im always cautious when trying new products on my face, i had no reaction to it, and it left my skin very soft and honestly i had a fresh feeling face for hours and hours after using it. i would use this again! (and will be)

This product comes in a standard Garnier 400ml bottle with an added pinkish tinge to the bottle, a pink rose background, and soft pink coloured cap that makes it look very pretty sitting on your vanity. It claims to be suited to dull and sensitive skin, removing makeup and giving your skin a "glow".

Upon opening the bottle I noticed a rosy, floral fragrance that reminded me of how Japanese rose-scented skincare smells; not just straight rosewater, but with an added powdery-but-not-in-a-grandma-way type of scent. It's not a light fragrance but I didn't find it too overpowering. It is worth noting there is added fragrance in this product. It does not have any colour and is not a bi-phase formula.

In terms of removing makeup it did as well as the original Garnier micellar water, as in it removes "everyday" makeup just fine. I did test it on matte liquid lipstick, which it removed with a little effort, but my ultimate test was my Kiss Me Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara (Super Waterproof), which it was not able to remove, unsurprisingly. It did, although, manage to remove the Advanced Film version, if any of you are familiar with that. It did not sting my sensitive eyes unless I put too much on the cotton pad.

Now, regarding the claim of only using one cotton pad - I don't know how this would be effective unless you were only wearing eye and lip makeup, i.e. no foundation. I don't regularly wear foundation so I was able to use one side of the cotton pad for both eyes, and the other for my lips. I have tried using one cotton pad for a full face of makeup but the pad just gets saturated with makeup so quickly that you'd just be smearing old makeup around your face. You would be better off using one cotton pad to remove/break down the makeup, and another to get the residue off, or just washing your face afterwards, which defeats the claim of "no rinsing required". I really don't understand this claim.

This product did leave my skin feeling and looking clean and fresh. I have normal skin on most of my face but my upper lip and area around my mouth is very dry and sensitive. This product did not irritate my skin and left it feeling comfortable, not tight, and without any discernible film over my skin. I still always moisturise afterwards but I wouldn't say it's absolutely necessary after using this product; maybe in winter I might need to, though.

Overall I really enjoyed this product and would purchase this product over the plain version because I am a fan of the scent, and I feel like it did hydrate my skin more than the plain version. However if you are sensitive to fragrance I would patch test first.

The first thing you'll notice when you open this bottle is the delightful Rose scent, it smells quite strong but fades quite quicky so you aren't left smelling like a bouquet of flowers. This made for a nice change compared to most other Micellar waters I have tried.

It did remove dirt and make up with one cotton pad as it said it would. However I am unsure if it made any difference to how my skin looked afterwards. I did not notice any dewy glow as stated.

I would use this again simply due to the gorgeous fragrance.

Thank you for the chance to review this amazing product. The first thing I have to say about this Garnier skin active micellar rose water is how beautiful the scent is. It smells incredible, just like beautiful roses. I use a lot of makeup every day and this stuff work wonders for removing my eye makeup and cleansing my skin! My skin feels completely refreshed and firm to the touch. Leaving that beautiful scent. It says to use cotton pad which I didn’t have but even still it did the most incredible job. The bottle says 200 uses which is a lot so great value for money. I’d use again in a heart beat!! Highly recommend.
