Everyone should have this product!!!

I LOVE Garnier Micellar cleaning water, where has it been all my life? It's so simply and straight forward to use and it's super gentle on your skin.

The first time I saw the bottle/packaging I did think it was very plain jane and boring but since using the product I have realised that the packaging is exactly like the product simple but oh so effective! The lid clips on snuggly and I have no concerns about it tipping over and spilling once the lid is closed, also the flip lid means you don't have to muck around screwing & unscrewing making the whole process much easier.

The product itself, well there's not a lot to say about it in terms of look or smell - it looks like water and there is no real smell that I have noticed either. Now this product claims to be amazing, removing make-up, cleansing and leaving your skin soothed. I wanted to believe the claims but to be honest I was a little skeptical, I mean sometimes even eye make-up remover has a hard time doing its job right? How could one product do multiple jobs AND do them well? The first night I was amazed (and slightly grossed out at the manly looking cotton pads!) at how effective a job the Micellar cleansing water did. It left my skin feeling wonderful and completely make-up free, plus it to got rid of my eye make-up without me having to rub or scrub the area. I did wonder if it was simply a fluke, if my make-up had been lighter or worn off more that day so I kept using it and after about a week of using it every night and most mornings I still feel the same - totally loving this product and the fact that it does what it says it will. My skin feels better than it has for a long time and I haven't had a breakout from my make-up since using this product (I was prone to getting them before). I am a contact lens wearer and am always a little cautious of the products I use on or around my eyes in case they cause irritation, so far the Micellar cleansing water hasn't caused any kind of irritation to my eyes. I can't wait for this product to be released in shops and think that the price is very reasonable, in fact I was expecting it to be more expensive than it is listed above. I've already recommended this product to several people who are very excited to give it a try.

Tips: More is less, you don't need to use a lot of the product on your cotton pad.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

This is a new step in natural technology performance for cleansers, there is no need for water to rinse or cleanse, so it's perfect for woman on the go or on holiday. It's simple to use just dab it on your face with a cotton bud or soft cloth and voila....No water needed. It didn't cause any irritation to my sensitive skin and I like the natural philosophy and also the large bottle which is definitely value for money

Tips: It even removed waterproof makeup although I did have to go over it twice to do this.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing water

400ml bottle, perfume free. i had never heard of this product before and was excited to try it, felt a tingly sensation when i took my makeup of with it, eye makeup came off easily and so did my foundation, but my stay on lipstick took a few goes to get it off, i found my neutrogena makeup remover took my lipstick off better, but otherwise a good product and reasonably priced, other than the tingly feeling no other reactions. Skin felt soothed and refreshed after using it.

Tips: always use with a cotton wipe

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

This was the fist time I had heard of Micellar water and so I had no idea what to expect. But I must say that I am very impressed. It was very easy to use, no washing off. It removed my make up very well, just took a little bit to remove my eye make up but it definitely did.

I've been using it twice daily, once before bed and when I wake up, and my skin is feeling refreshed and clean.

You don't have to use a lot at a time, and thus this one bottle will last awhile. And it's great value for money, very affordable

Super quick, easy and convenient!

This product is great to remove make up at the end of the night after a long day. I still like to rinse my face with warm water afterwards and then moisturiser as I find this helps take off the last of any foundation that may be in the creases of my nose or any little creases other places. I found it didnt quite take off all of my mascara but I can easily use eye make up remover if I have been wearing heavier eye make up that day. Overall I think this is a great product and would also be very helpful to those who hate taking the time to take their make up off at night as it is so quick.

Tips: Dont soak the cotton pad with too much product, otherwise it can get very messy very easily. Also, this works great as a spot cleaner for your make up brushes when you need it done really quick if you dont have your usual brush spot cleaner with you.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing "Miracle" Water

First thing I noticed when it arrived was the size of the bottle – its huge! Sceptical me off course thought – gonna have to use a lot of that …..Surprise Surprise….

I have sensitive skin that is prone to psoriasis, but this is so gentle and calm and it removes most make up…my mascara is a little bit more stubborn to get off, it's soothing, non irritating

Left my skin feeling of fresh and clean after a long day at the office and even wiped off full formal make up after a night out. I just use it with makeup cotton pads, and it wipes clean easily. No panda eyes the next day.

It really is as clear as water with no smell and easy to use. Absolutely love it, nice clear bottle with easy lift pink (nice touch) top. The bottle in my opinion might not travel to safely – it has a flip top that easily opens – quite nifty for next to the basin/make up stand. Definitely a better option then expensive make up wipes (I will keep those for travelling)

Think the price is great for such a big bottle – they say 200 cleanses – been using it for a full week and have just started making a “dent in it”.

Definitely will recommend it for any skin type – definitely sensitive skin.

Tips: Go get it now!! Best way is to use with round/square make up pads

So nearly perfect...

I can’t even express how excited I was to trial this. There has been so much hype in the land of internet recently about micellar waters, and this Garnier one particularly. It definitely lives up to the majority of the hype, but there’s just one thing that lets it down for me (ooh the suspense!!)…

This comes in such a generous sized, sturdy bottle, which is going to last forever given how little I have to use every time. I love that it’s clear, as that makes it easy to see how much is left. The dispenser is just a drip-through-the-hole type of one, but it works well, and I haven’t had any problems with it going everywhere.

I’ve used this with cotton-wool balls and round cotton pads, and the latter definitely work better. I squirt enough of the micellar water on to the pad so that it’s nice and soaked (the info card thingy said about half a teaspoon, which sounds about right), and then wipe it all over my face. It doesn’t sting, it doesn’t have any scent, it doesn’t foam up or turn a different colour… in short, it feels exactly like water. Soothing but refreshing. And damp. (Just thought I should clarify that :P)

In terms of removing my face makeup and eyeshadow, this stuff is magical. It seriously just melts it off – I don’t know how it can do it so easily! (well, I’ve read up on micellar water, but I still maintain it’s magic). I use one or two cotton pads for my entire face, depending on how much makeup I’m wearing, and when I follow up with toner not a speck of makeup comes off on that cotton pad. It literally takes me less than 30 seconds to get all my face makeup off, and that is pretty darn amazing.

I don’t find it leaves any residue, so although I have been following up with toner, I haven’t felt the need to rinse it off. I haven’t experienced any irritation or breakouts since starting to use this, and most importantly I haven’t had dry patches – something which is caused by a lot of cleansers for me.

All in all, this is amazing. Except. This makes me so sad. I wear a waterproof mascara, which I love. Unfortunately this just doesn’t do anything to remove it – I’ve tried using it so many ways, and even resorted to the dreaded scrubbing, and it just doesn’t do anything to budge it. Now, this probably speaks more for the mascara than the micellar water, but I’d read so many places that this would remove waterproof eye makeup super easily, so it was disappointing. What I’ve ended up doing is using a tiny bit of my oil cleanser just to get my mascara off, and then wiping that residue away with the micellar water. It works, it just adds an extra step to what otherwise is an amazingly quick and easy method of makeup removal.

Will I repurchase? Yes! Would I recommend to others? Definitely! Just be aware that if you have a stubborn waterproof mascara, this may not quite hit the mark.

Tips: Invest in a pack of cotton makeup removal pads - they're super cheap from places like Kmart or the supermarket, and they work so much better for this than anything else!

magic water anyone?

So ill start by saying I have super duper sensitive skin so am always hesitant to try new facial products, but when this cleansing water that has already been raved about and hadnt yet been released in nz was offered, how could i turn my nose at the opportunity? Besides it does say suitable for all skin types. When i received this gem, i had a "cake face day" so great opportunity to put it to the test!. Now anyone who is a wearer of double wear know that that foundation sticks! well the results double wear 0-cleansing water 1. With one wipe double wear was no more. eyebrows didnt stand a chance either! Though it took another round of cleaning to get rid of all remnants of make up, the cleansing water did a brilliant job. Around the eyes caused a bit of sting but nothing a gentle hand cant get around. After use, my skin felt like it was breathing again and also moisturized. And no allergic reactions! not a single dot of a rash popped up. very happy I will be purchasing this again me thinks!

Tips: Have a gentle hand around the eyes as it does sting if it gets in your eyes

Yep, yes

After hearing about everyone raving about this product I was very excited to learn that I would be able to trial it!

When looking for make-up removers and cleansers my main concerns are if they will sting my eyes, remove make-up efficiently and if they will leave my face feeling oily.

I ripped open the packaging as soon as I received it in the mail. Had a sniff and it doesn't really have any sort of scent that I could make out.

I've tried it with a full face of make-up and it worked wonderfully. On an average day my basics are double wear foundation with a MAC powder over the top, Napoleon Perdis eyeliner and an Estee Lauder mascara. This cleansing water managed to remove all of my eye makeup and 90% of my foundation on the first go. (I rubbed, even though they say 'no need to rub') I needed to go over my face about three times before there was no foundation visible on the cotton pad I used. I did a quick test with coconut oil after just to see if there was any left and there wasn't.

No stinging! Not left feeling oily!

$13 is an awesome price considering how big the bottle is, the cap is relatively small as well so you don't waste much.

Tips: Use cotton pads! Hold down on eye make-up for a few seconds and swipe across, comes off very easy.

A cotton bud fits perfectly at the opening, handy for when you make an eyeliner/mascara mistake.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

I love this cleanser!!! It makes the skin tingle afterwards while it dries. My favourite thing is that I don't have to clean my face after removing the make up like you have to when using other cleansing wipes. The only thing it didn't do was remove fully my mascara. My skin felt nice, soft and refreshed afterwards and didn't take long to feel dry. I would certainly buy this again when this bottle runs out.

Tips: Don't put too much of the cleansing water on the cotton pad/cotton wool as you only need a small amount.
