Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water Review

I was sent this to trial. I've been wanting to try micellar water, but I already had an eye makeup remover so was trying to use that up first.

Well, let me say I might not even bother with my other one. This product is amazing.

First off, it just looks like normal water. If you shake the bottle though, it will foam up (that's the micelle component). It has no smell and it's not sticky. For sensitive skin like mine, this is a good thing. I didn't react at all.

Initially, I used this to remove makeup and cleanse my face. This product is absolutely fantastic at removing eye makeup. You just wet your cotton pad with the water, hold it over your eye for a few seconds, and wipe. Everything came off after a couple of wipes. In terms of cleaning my face, it does, but I use a total of four cotton pads to do so.

As I don't have an unlimited supply of cotton pads, I instead use this to remove eye makeup, then as a toner after cleansing to remove any last traces.

I've also used this as a quick cleanse on days where I've worn no makeup, but the baby has been screaming. The pad is dirty. It just drives home the fact that your skin does accumulate dirt and pollution throughout the day.

On the whole, I would use this again. I'm really impressed that it is one of those rare products that completely works.

I love this product. There is absolutely no scent and is super gentle on my sensitive skin. I pour a little on a cotton pad and apply to my face to remove my makeup at night. I wear heavy mascara so I'll leave the cotton pad over my eyes with light pressure for about 5 seconds, then begin to wipe away the eye makeup, this helps my eye makeup to come off super easy! The product is not greasy and I always feel refreshed before jumping into bed! Its super lightweight and does not leave my skin feeling dry or cause breakouts.

I find using this on a cotton pad is a lot more cost effective then buying facial wipes so this is definitely my new “go-to” product for everyday use. It is a little pricey but it will last a long time, so this won’t stop me from picking it up off the shelf.

The smaller version of this product is awesome, I find the larger product great when I am at home, but the smaller one is perfect for when I travel and have to watch the weight of my carry on bag!

Definitely give this a go, you won’t regret it! :)

I was lucky enough to be chosen for a trial for this and have been using the product every night for the past week. I've never tired any brand of Micellar water before but have been meaning to for a while so this is my first experience this. I was a bit hesitant at first as I've been reacting to a lot of products lately especially if they are not natural/organic but I was very pleased with this one.

First off, it comes in a simple plastic bottle that's fairly sturdy. The top part is kind of like a squeeze bottle so it makes it easy to control how much of the product you're using when you're putting it on your cotton pad to apply. The water itself is basically like a toner and doesn't have any smell at all. Upon application, it did not sting or irritate my sensitive skin at nor did it leave any dryness or redness. Did it remove my makeup? Yes! Easily! I've tried this with both heavy makeup and light makeup and it worked very well. I did have to use a couple of cotton balls for heavier makeup but that happens with most makeup removers anyway. It even worked great with my waterproof mascara and eyeliner even though it doesn't specifically say on the bottle that it removes waterproof. My skin felt clean and refreshed after using this.

Overall, this is a great product. I've been leaning more towards natural skin care lately however, because this product is so gentle, I would not hesitate to use it again.

What an amazing product! I have used this for a little over 2 weeks and love it! Not only did it remove my makeup well it left my skin feeling clean and soft ,no need to moisturise.They say there is no need to rinse this is very true i didn't rinse and my skin had absorbed it within minutes! I would definitely recommend this to people who have sensitive skin like me.

This product is amazing beyond words! Removes makeup like a dream, even that waterproof mascara! I love that you don't have to rub your eyes so hard to remove eye makeup like many similar products, with this I can just apply to a cotton pad, press to my eye and wipe and away it comes without irritating my eyes will all the rubbing. I find double wear foundation pretty hard to fully remove sometimes, but this product can do that no sweat. Oh and it's even perfect for removing those fake tan mistakes! Also works amazing for brush cleaning!

I have been looking for an easier way to remove my makeup and that is also gentle on my skin, I have finally have a product that does what is says its meant to do and that is Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. It is the most amazing makeup remover and facial cleanser i have EVER come across i always had trouble with breaking out after i remove my makeup but this is so gentle on your skin and the best part is NO more moisturizing after. My skin has never been better i don't have to worry about oily skin or having to scrub my face until it turns red trying to get a decent cover. I LOVE this product so much i have already gotten 8 friends to try it and they said they will not buy anything else again.

I found this product really light, refreshing and did what it said it would. As I have sensitive eyes I'm careful with what products I use around my eyes but I found this to be really light and suits sensitive skin. It feels exactly like putting water on your eyes

I love how when I come home after a night out instead of doing my whole cleaning routine I can use this. It's like the lazy girls dream to removing makeup and making my face feel a little fresher.

It does a fairly good job and definitely fills the responsibilities in it's demanding role. It gets most of my makeup up off, not so much mascara which is of course water proof.

It has no fragrance and as I have sensitive skin it's perfect for me too. My skin isn't left irritated or itchy, it doesn't burn or tighten you skin either like some makeup removers and wipes do. It comes off in one wipe.

I will still stick to my daily morning and night cleansing routine but this is just perfect for 'missed a bit' or 'I can't be bothered with routine right now'.

I was in love the first time I used this product. The size of the bottle is good - enough for many uses. The product doesn't have any smell, which I love. It glides on my skin and the results on the makeup pad showed it had taken off the day's makeup. No tight feeling after use, makeup removed in a couple of takes and it doesn't pull against your skin as you are wiping it across your face. The take off is effortless and no scrubbing required. This is an extremely affordable product which delivers on all levels. I will definitely buy again. My skin felt smooth and refreshed afterwards - no dry patches. The lid has a bit of a longer lip which is fabulous as there is no need to use finger nails or have them ripped off trying to open.

I love this product so much. I look exactly like water, smells, feels etc the same as water however it works like magic! Any trace of makeup on my face was gone after using this product on a cotton pad and it barely used much product at all! This little bottle will last me ages!! One of the little pros that I have is the fact that it is a cleaner aswell! It not only removes makeup but it leaves skin feeling soft and not oily like most makeup removers, also even if I wasn't wearing makeup I think I would still want to use this to cleanse my face. It doesn't need water or anything, literally just swipe it across your face and it's all clean. My face didn't feel right or gross or anything which is amazing. I literally have nothing bad to say about this product whatsoever!!
