Soap & Glory Face Soap and Clarity Vitamin C Facial Wash Review

I got this in a gift pack called the glorious five. A great way to try new products. It was the mini size which I think was 50ml. Comes in a little squeezy tube with a flip top lid.

It has a gel like consistency and is a beautiful blue colour. It has little exfoliating beads in it but personally I don't feel like they do much and it wouldn't be a product to use if exfoliation is what you are wanting.

It smells lovely, minty but citrusy. You only need a tiny amount as a little certainly goes a long way. It lathers up well and feels nice on your skin. I have sensitive skin and have had no issues with this.

It does a great job at cleaning your face and doesn't leave it feeling tight or dry. My face loves it! My skin looks great and since using this and some other vit c products from the same range I have not had any breakouts!

I've since purchased the big 350ml bottle which is such a great size and only $18. I highly recommend this. Affordable and makes your skin look beautiful. Will be buying back ups!

I got this cleanser as a travel size with some other Soap and Glory products. I used it both morning and night and you really feel like your face is lovely and clean after using without feeling tight or dry. I'm not sure it was particularly brightening as the VitC isn't in contact with your skin long before being washed off. But for the price, you do get a good cleansed face and it feels like you are using a good quality, higher end product. It also smells lovely without being overpowering. I would certainly recommend.

This is one of my favourite cleansers, so affordable, comes in a huge bottle and effective too. I use this at night after I removed my makeup with a balm cleanser and this gets rid of any residue left on my face, be it balm or makeup residue. In the morning I just use it quickly in the shower to freshen up my face before my morning skincare routine and makeup. It cleanses effectively, yet doesn’t dry out the skin, scent isn’t too strong, in fact I can’t even remember what it smells like and I just used it a few hours ago, so that’s forgettable, but scent in a cleanser isn’t important to me. I don’t think the beads do much exfoliating-these aren’t plastic by the way, don’t worry-they’re too big and don’t dissolve but at least they aren’t scratchy. Also not sure about what the vitamin c in a cleanser supposed to do when it’s washed off in less than a minute, so that’s another gimmick. Yet I’d still recommend this cleanser, based on price and how well it cleanses even though it promises too much, all it does is cleansing the face without drying it out and that’s enough for me, it’s all I want from a cleanser, no more and no less.

I purchased this 3 weeks ago from Mecca. I think this does a fantastic job - it’s a massive bottle and off the top of my head, was around the $16 mark. So amazing value for money AND I worked great for me. It removes all my make up - I’m not a heavy make up wearer. I literally mix BB cream with my moisturiser, use bronzer, concealer, eyebrows and mascara and it all comes off. Even my waterproof mascara. My skin feels completely cleansed without feeling dry or crepey. I do have combination/oily skin. Overall I really enjoy this product and I am definitely buying again

Just purchased one so have used roughly 5,6 times very reasonably priced for a vitamin c cleanser and i have to say I like it, it has a good amount of suds, feels great on the skin, a cooling effect and has a nice gel like consistency, I didnt really notice the microbeads when applying.

As far as value for money and cleansing ability goes, this is a winner. It's a huge bottle. It's so big compared to other brands/cleansers. Love the scent - it's like a minty-fruity smell. Really refreshing - great morning wakeup.

I alternate this cleanser with their cream cleanser in the evening, preferring this one in the morning. It lathers easily - you need only the tiniest amount, and it cleanses and exfoliates nicely, without drying out the skin.

I wondered if this might have been a little too harsh for my skin type which is combination - Normal/Dry, but it so far has been fantastic (about 6 weeks use). I've also been trying to balance out issues with sensitivity to products and this one seemed to help clear the breakouts I'm experiencing.

I wouldn't use it twice a day, but for the price and performance I like it, and better still I don't get grumpy with my hubby also using it - win-win.

This is a pretty decent cleanser. You get a huge bottle and it's relatively inexpensive. The only problem with it coming in such a huge bottle is that I got a bit bored of it by the end!

I enjoy the smell of this product and it did a perfectly good job of removing makeup and cleansing my skin. I do however wonder if the microbeads (apparently enviro friendly ones, don't worry) are a bit too abrasive for my skin. This product also has quite a lather which makes me worried that it may be a bit too drying for sensitive/dry skin types.

Overall, I don't think I will buy this again but I did use the entire bottle! I would be interested in trying some other Soap and Glory skin products next.

While I prefer the cleansing milk this product is pretty amazing and also won’t break the bank.

Leaves skin smooth, feeling refreshed, with a nice not overpowering scent and with the large sized bottle at a cheap price why wouldn’t you try this product.

While it didn’t have the same effect on my skin as cleansing milk it still cleansed my skin perfectly.

Would use again.

Purchased this as I was looking to revamp my skincare collection and this was super affordable especially for the size of the bottle! - has a nice non - overpowering scent, and is very refreshing on the skin and is a great way to wake you up a bit more in the morning! haha, but it made me break out on my chin quite badly - so will no longer be using!
