L'Oreal Youth Code Luminosity Extraordinary Serum

I do love the lightweight texture this serum has it is quite thin and lathers on my body smoothly, it absorbs quite nicely into skin and keeps moisturised and hydrated for a long period of time,

over time i did notice it to improve my skins smoothness and complexity, id love to give it a go again

I found this in a discount store for about $7. I was wanting to add a serum to my routine so I decided to give this a go based on brand and price, rather than what it claims to do.

It comes in a glass bottle with a pump, making it very easy to dispense the right amount. You really only do need one pump for your entire face and neck. It is a thin pearlised lotion which quickly sinks into skin to give its luminous glow. It does make my skin feel incredibly soft and silky, which I liken to a silicon primer. In fact, to me this is more of a primer than a serum as I think of a serum as something that adds to and nourishes the skin. I feel like this does not have any long term effects. Any benefits are gone once this is cleansed away. I like to use this in the morning before my BB cream as it is a nice base for that.

The downside for me is the scent. It is the L'oreal signature scent which is not unpleasant, I just think it is way to strong for a product that I put on my face. It really does put me buying anymore L'oreal products. I would purchase this again but to use as a primer, at the right price, but not as a serum.

This was the first serum I had tried. I bought this during winter when my skin was dry. It wasn't terribly dry and dehydrated but I wanted something stronger than my moisturiser to hydrate my skin. I use this serum morning and night underneath my face moisturiser. I have found that this has hydrated my skin well and I no longer get dry patches on my cheeks. I also find that my foundation sits nicer on my cheeks and doesn't look cakey at all. My skin feels softer and more plump, and the texture is more even.

The consistency of the serum is quite thin, like a thin body lotion. This makes it easy to apply to your face and glides on smoothly. It absorbs into your skin quite quickly and I like to follow with my regular face moisturiser.

The serum is a pearly white colour that has a slight shimmer to it. The sight shimmer gives your skin the illuminating effect and brightens your skin a bit more. The bottle is a simple rectangle with a pump. A pump is the perfect decanter to remove the product from the bottle. I feel like this product is too runny for a squeeze bottle. I also like how the glass is clear so that you can see how much product is left.

I use this twice a day, one pump each time, and this bottle has lasted about 6 months. Since using this serum I have found that the overall appearance of my skin has improved. The redness in my cheeks has faded and my skin tone looks more even. I must add though that I have used a couple of other new products, so it's hard to tell whether this serum is the sole cause of these results.

Overall, I really like this serum. It has hydrated my skin and improved the texture of my skin at the same time. I would purchase this product again.

I decided to buy this on special at the Warehouse after feeling a bit self conscious about my sunspots on my cheekbones. The bottle looks quite luxurious, definitely does not look as cheap as it actually was. The pump bottle is great, no flaws, the product comes out smoothly at just the right amount each pump. This product claims to "correct dark spots", so I figured I'd give it a go. I've worn a pump on each cheek religiously, morning and night, and after maybe 2 months, my mom mentioned that my dark spots have started to become lighter! By no means have they disappeared, but I think they may have lightened!

One of my close friends suggested I try this serum to help deal with my dark spots and my acne scarring. She had great success with the serum so I thought I would give it a try. This serum was light and sunk in quickly upon application. Unfortunately, my skin did not react well to this serum and left me with a lot of milia along my cheek bones and on my forehead. This was the only new product I had introduced into my routine, so I think it was the culprit. As I only used the serum for 3 weeks before stopping there was inadequate time to see any changes to my scarring.

I think that this is still a good option for many people, so if your skin is generally pretty well behaved I suggest you give it a shot.

I didn't use it for removing dark spots but it's my favourite moisturiser of all time, it feels so super amazing and soft. The packaging is great, it comes with a pump so it's easy to use. It smells great and gives my skin a gorgeous glow. I'd love it if it was a bit cheaper. Either way I'd definitely repurchase. I just love it!!

Applied after cleansing and before moisturizing, this product has a pleasant smell and is quickly absorbed with no greasy residue, leaving a silicone-smooth feel on the skin.

The packaging reads "Apply the serum by itself or before your daily care, morning or evening on your entire face". Personally, I preferred to use this at night under my night cream and not during the day under my make-up. I did try it once in the morning and as I have a very oily skin, I found that my skin looked shiny a little quicker than usual.

After the first two weeks of use, it definitely left my skin feeling more hydrated. As for the correction of dark spots, well, I don't believe it. This product does contain light-infusing ingredients which make the skin instantly appear more luminous and even toned, but I've been using this product daily for 5 months now and took "before" photos the day that I began using it. I took more photos when I reached the 4 month mark (after finishing two bottles) and I'm rather disappointed that my pigmentation marks have not lightened at all after all this time and still look the same in the photos!

I still have a full bottle left and am prepared to give it a few more months (until I finish the bottle) before I make my final decision, but this doesn't seem to be working for me and is not living up to the statement that dark spots are visibly reduced after one month!

I bought a bottle of this because I was intrigued by its claims. Pretty much from the get go I loved it. The consistency was very light and when I applied it under my makeup, my skin seemed to have an inner 'glow'. The funny thing was that I actually thought my skin was just getting better...then when I didn't use the Youth Code I didn't have that 'glow' anymore lol. Love this serum!

This is a lovely product. Love how easily it goes on and leaves skin feeling nice. A little bit pricey but I thinkthis helps make it feel luxurious and indulgent. Would definitely recommend

I have been using this for a couple of weeks now and I am liking the results. My skin tone seems to be evening out and I am finding that I am not having to use as much foundation as I used to. The one thing I must say though, being that I have a darker skin complexion, it seems to be lightening my actual skin tone.

I have been using this in conjunction with the Youth Code Luminosity Day Cream.

I am 37 years old (so just fall out of the age range of this product) and have normal to dry skin.
