Dettol Healthy Touch Hand Sanitiser Instant Refresh Review

I work in a pharmacy and we have a bottle of this at the counter. I use it daily as we deal with a lot of sick patients. It feels nice to use and doesn't aggravate my hands as I am a eczema sufferer. Would recommend getting and they make one for the handbag which is so handy when your out and about.

I was given this when i had my baby as you need to be wary of germs through the NB stage.. I was very disappointed that it left a very strong chemical taste on the hands and it lingered until i washed my hands thoroughly to get it off.

Now i know, some may be thinking WHY are you tasting it?! Well, when you eat or touch your face then lick your lips you can taste it. This is also very bad for me as my New born baby like to suck on my finger and so i stopped using it immediately. NOT child friendly in my opinion!

We brought a bottle of this from our local supermarket when the family came down with the flu. It was a must-use purchase at the time. Very strong in smell with an oily-but-drying feel, I really couldn't say whether it did it's job or not (as we all still have colds but they have gotten better...). Handy size, easily portable, nice and simply packaging. If you can get past the overly-antiseptic smell that Dettol is almost famous for then it's a decent product. Not sure how well it would do for sensitive skin types... our 5 year old tried it and her skin did go a little red.

I have used this for a while now, I keep a small bottle of it in my office desk drawer at work and one in my handbag.

Who knows if it really does the trick without doing some testing but it certainly feels like it does - its cooling on the skin & gives off a refreshing smell, my hands just feel cleaner after a few small drops rubbed all over my hands.

Its so cheap too and lasts ages!

I am a Dettol fan from way back. This is just another fantastic product to add to my list in the groceries. I keep the mini bottles of Dettol hand sanitiser everywhere - handbag, glove box, kids school bags and the big pump bottle on the kitchen bench. The sanitiser feels fantastic on your skin, sensitive and it also isn't as potent smelling as other brands I have previously used. I like that it comes in a variety of scented options to help reduce the heavy alcohol smell. Thanks Dettol.

I have been using this hand sanitizer since my high school days! (I'm 21 now) I love this product, especially in travel size. I am never without a bottle in my handbag when I'm out running errands, out having lunch/dinner, or at a music festival (public toilets, ew). I prefer this sanitizer over all others just because I enjoy the clean lasting scent, and it's availability in almost every store nearby.

As a regular hand sanitiser user, i do really like dettol's healthy touch hand sanitiser. Although i have found better sanitisers, this one does come out among the top. Dettol is such a well known trusted brand so of course it is quite popular. Some sanitisers can be very watery and hard to apply, but this one has a nice gel consistency which makes it easy to sit in my hand and not run all over the place. It doesn't leave my hands feelings sticky which is a huge plus because no one enjoys that! It also has quite a nice smell about it, not too strong of alcohol which some can be. Although i was disappointed it didn't have that traditional Dettol scent.

I am a little skeptical about hand sanitisers but never the less I use them regularly. I find that Dettol is the most popular on the market but I definitely prefer something with a nicer scent, such as the Palmolive hand sanitisers. I don't really enjoy smelling like disinfectant!

I love hand sanitizer. Its a fact. No matter what job i'm doing, its always near by.

Personally, i think Dettol rule the school when it comes to hand sanitizer, and disinfectant. This is also reflected in their price which i persoanlly find is a little higher then other brands. None the less, this is the hand sanitizer adorning my desk this winter.

Firstly the packaging is clean and crisp. It comes in completely see through packaging, with a subtle label. This see-through packaging lets the see the product inside which is a thin clear gel.

The big bottle (which is the one i have), has a pump dispenser which is bright green which i love, but it does seem to pump out twice as much product as you actually need, so i just use a half pump.

Like i mentioned before, the sanitizer is a thin gel, which is clear in colour. When you use a little bit it does dry very fast which is very convenient. It does have a really strong alcohol smell to it which i don't mind initially. But when i use this all day everyday, then it can get a little bit intense. Also because i use it so regularly it does slightly dry my hands out, but nowhere near as much as i would expect with a product like this, so overall i'm pretty impressed.

I keep bottles of this everywhere as a mum of 6 kids I need to know that my kids are keeping germ free. I love it for after a trip to the supermarket a wee squirt for me and the kids keeps germs at bay. I love how it absorbs quickly and has a nice smell. The small bottle is ideal for the handbag or glove box and the larger size is a staple for the baby change table.
