Garnier Ambre Solaire Natural Bronzer Velvet Touch Gel Review

I never use something like this but it was summer time and i was looking pake! This one was most affordable at that stage to i gave it a try.

I disnt notice that it game me a good tan at all i got more of a tan jogging outside. The smell is really fruity and good and iove the packaging. Maybe i was to tan already but this disnt work for me.

I'm surprised by the poor reviews as I really like the product. It smells good. I applied it (I have fair skin) and the tan developed over time. One application gave a light tan. I didn't get around to a second application, but I'm picking a few light applications is the way to go.

It comes in an easy to use bottle. It does have quite a strong scent to it which some would find too overpowering but i find it quite nice. It is very easy to apply (just like a moisturiser) and creates a very natural looking tan. It doesn't leave any streaks and it isnt obvious if you miss a spot.It lasts for quite a few days and fades very naturally.

Not much of a fan of this product, I found it to be way to over powering scent wise, as your applying, the color can be to fake looking azwell as it starts to look to orange after a couple hours, The amount of time taken to put this on my legs was unbelievable, it was really time consuming

I have used this a couple of times and have never really found it as good as I initially thought. The smell caught my attention first, with that peachy smell, after awhile I think it gets too over powering and I cant handle the smell, the consistency of the actual product is pretty good, its not too runny and not too oily as well, it glides on to the skin easily but it can can become hard to spread after a while but it starts extremely dark is very time consuming when applying how described on the packaging.

I feel that because of it being extremely time consuming some customers may be out of this and seek spray tans are easy to apply such as spray-on and so on..

The packaging is nothing fancy but for the price and quality of the product it is worth the money but I would only recommend it to those who have the time and don't need to be up-and-go sorts of people. Personally I would only recommend the colour in summer time.

This is my all-time favourite bronzer. I use and savour it. It is very effective - you need to be careful of streaks as it's some serious brown! Rather than paying for a spray tan, I buy this and use it for 2-3 nights before the occasion. I tend to apply it sparingly and use another moisturiser straight afterwards to ensure it's properly spread. I find it's a really good colour for my skin and looks natural though I have sisters who can't really use it without looking like they've painted it on. I use this as my intense bronzer if I want quick, significant colour.

My first impressions of Garnier Ambre Solaire Natural Bronzer were positive. It smelt alright and the application was easy and hassle free. But after a week of using this product it became clear that Isomething was wrong. The colour made my skin look unnaturally morange and resembled something from Jersey Shore. And the smell is so overwhelmingly pungent. So much so that to this day I can tell if someone is wearing Garnier Ambre Solaire Natural Bronzer just from the smell.

I hope that Garnier changes their formula and creates something that women can use as the price is reasonable and Garnier is a great brand with some lovely products. But unfortunately Garnier Ambre Solaire Natural Bronzer is not the one for me.

Pros: Inexpensive, conveniently located, easy to hold.

Cons: Makes you look unnatural, smells horrible, patchy.

If you want to turn out looking like a Charlie Chocolate Factorie helper, I would recommend this product! If you want a even tan sun kissed tan, do not purchase this product. And the smell is vile!

Oh lord I HATE this!!

Ok so the first time I used it it looked ok, a little orange but ok...then you get to my ankles, oh my lordy! Orange streaks,smears...it was a hot mess!! My knees were the same

So with some patience and a couple of layers of skin removed in the process I got my lily white legs back and waited a few weeks before a second attempt.

I waxed,exfoliated,moisturised and paid particular attention to my knees and ankles...same mess.

I tried a few times over a 6 month period getting the same result each time before giving up

I found this product to be very thick which left my skin feeling groggy. It left me to look "orange' which no one wants. I used this product again around one week later to give it another chance but once again I looked orange. I wasn't sure whether it was me applying in incorrectly or applying too much?? or whether it was the product itself. Either way I most likely wouldn't recommend this product but in saying that, everyone's skin is different and what doesn't work for one....could actually work for another :)

I have used many Garnier products over the years and am normally very happy with them.
