Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturising Lotion Review

This is a brilliant moisturiser to use, it’s so soothing and calming to skin through the oats in the formula. I love to use this when my skin is upset and needs a little extra tlc. As well as soothing skin, it also moisturises very well. It keeps skim hydrated all day so there’s no need for re-application.

I have been suffering with dry eszema skin pretty much my whole life. While I have made some other changes in my life to deal with my skin, I had also heard great things about this moisturiser so thought I would give it a go. I was quite surprised at how light it was (as I would generally tend to get as thick cream as possible) and also you didn’t need heaps to go a long way. It doesn’t have any purfume added which is great and is gentle on my skin. My top body moisturiser now!

Aveeno's Skin Relief Moisturising Lotion now comes with a light coconut scent which is super subtle and feels great on your skin. It has such a delicate texture yet provides maximum moisture; leaving your skin grease-free. Absolutely love this lotion, just used some this morning!

This product is amazing when my skin is having an eczema outbreak. It is super hydrating and keeps my skin hydrated all day long. It is unscented so is very gentle on the skin and doesn't leave it stinging after shaving like some products do. I use twice a day when my skin is extra dry. It is great for problem areas such as the soles of the feet. I tend to buy a couple of bottles on special as it is a bit pricey when at full retail price.

The Aveeno Skin Relief lotion has become a staple in my routine this winter. I was searching for a hydrating lotion that was quick and easy to apply and minimal in ingredients. This ticked all the boxes. The pump bottle makes it a great option to keep in the bathroom or beside the bed for everyday use.

I describe this lotion as a staple because it does what it needs to, but is nothing fancy. There is no delicious smell or luxury feeling, it's not a treat to apply and I wouldn't reach for it if I needed a pick-me-up. However, it is a great everyday product in place of more expensive body butters, and it has helped to keep my skin hydrated this winter. I apply it every morning and will alternate between this and a body butter in the evening. The pump is convenient and the lotion absorbs quickly.

I use fake tan regularly and was reading about ingredients that can contribute to your tan fading faster. The ingredients in the Aveeno lotion work particularly well for maintaining a fake tan and not stripping it. Apparently some of the more oil rich moisturisers e.g.: coconut oil, can contribute to fake tan fading faster.

I picked this up for half price at the supermarket. This made it great value and is certainly a product that I will continue to repurchase.

I purchased this when it was on special for $9, however mine is in a squeezy tube with a flip top lid.

I actually brought this for my face as it was recovering from an allergic reaction and peeling like crazy. I wasn't too sure if this was meant for the face but I had no issues.

I smothered this on at night and it made a huge difference, my skin healed quite quickly thank goodness. I got no burning sensation or other reactions. It has no noticeable scent and is lovely and thick.

This is a lovely hydrating moisturiser and is great for itchy, flaking skin. Highly recommend.

I love love love this brand! It’s my go to moisturiser in the winter time when I skin gets over dry. It helps hydrate my skin and I apply it each night after showering and it lasts all day.

I love the Aveeno skin range, but I find the Skin Relief Moisturiser is their best. I use for any flare up on my skin and like magic next day is fixed. The moisturiser is great, just the right consistency and no smell and it leaves your skin feeling great! I prefer the bigger bottles with the pump, which are often on sale at the supermarket, as it is easy to use.

I bought this a couple of months ago when I had completely run out of body moisturiser, I thought I would give it a go, I had heard alot of great things about this brand. My arms and legs had become very dry over the winter and I had very dry hands that were cracking and were so sore! As soon as I started using this moisturiser I really noticed a big difference in my skin and I couldn't believe how well it worked on my hands, I actually wanted to buy a hand cream aswell but didn't get around to it so I just carried on using this one. I love the formula, its quite thick and absorbs really well into my skin. It has no fragrance which is great too because I can still wear my perfumes without having mixed fragrances on my skin. I've used it on my two children aswell and it has been great for their skin. It comes in a decent size bottle that I can use for my whole family so I will definitely be purchasing again!
