Evolu Ultimate Goodness Body Butter Review

Received in a BBBE and have so been looking forward to using this. Love the brand, have enjoyed almost all the products I have tried. Beautifully boxed, this body butter is housed in a glass jar with black twist top lid. Looks lovely on my beauty counter. Smell is pleasant and not overpowering.

Formula is thick and creamy. Definitely for me more suited to the colder/wintery weather when my skin tends to be driest. Have been using the last couple of weeks, this is so moisturising. My skin is left so smooth, very nice to touch.

At the price point it's not something I would normally purchase. If it was a birthday gift to self I would pick it up. Also if it was on sale i'd repurchase. Would make a lovely gift too.

This delicious product comes in a gorgeous glass, twist top pot. It has Evolu branding with pretty flowers. The flavour, Monoi de Tahiti - Avocado Pear, immediately sounds,tropical, exotic, and luxurious. Which it is.

The product is thick and cream, but thin enough to absorb very quickly. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft.

The scent for me is an important factor in any body creams, moisturisers, and body butters, so that is the acid test. The scent of this is unusual, nice but not wonderful. It remains me of marzipan, which I did not expect from avocado and pear. It is quite pleasant though, and reminds me of childhood scents. Possibly the strongest influence is the gardenia. The product claim is that it will leave skin supple and healthy with a silky sheen, which it does.

It is a good butter for my dry legs and hands. It is a bit more pricey than other body butters, and weighing it up against some others, I can't say it is lots better or worse than most of them. I will certainly use it all but the jury is out on whether or not I would repurchase, and that is largely based on the price. I don't see body butter as a major need in my collection, so it isn't something I want to spend much money on, but for those who spend a lot of time outside and need to be constantly protecting their skin from drying, this is a product worth trying.

My skin has been very dry these colder months and this has been working so well for me.

It has a slight scent, which smells lovely. It's a rich, thick cream, but is still easy to spread onto the skin. I find that even though it is quite thick I don't need to use much product for my whole body. When I apply this I can almost instantly feel it moisturising my skin and I love it. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft. It does take a minute or so to absorb into my skin, but it absorbs fully and doesn't leave any residue or sticky feeling. It isn't as quick to apply as I like for everyday use, as you have to wait a bit for it to absorb, and I haven't used this days I've been in a rush. But I've been loving it for mornings when I have an extra minute and I've noticed that my skin has stayed moisturised for longer throughout the day than lots of other things I use. Just a really lovely product that I'm so glad to own!

I love this product. I hate anything that "floats" in a greasy layer on the skin, and this doesnt. It's just amazing and smells divine, I think the monoi fools my senses a bit because I get a delicious honey smell out of it! Altogether I would buy this again.

This is a lovely body butter with gentle feminine smell. I use it after morning shower and it makes me feel energized and my skin is nicely soft. Only thing I don't like is the texture. It's a bit thick and I need to massage a lot so it is fully absorbed by skin.

This body butter comes in a 200ml clear glass pot with a white plastic lid.

I used this after my shower in which I had used the Evolu coffee scrub. The fragrance was quite beautiful, quite floral. I found this body butter to be super thick and it was really hard for my skin to absorb.

It stayed on top of my skin for such a long time that I ended up wiping the excess off with a tissue.

I feel if you had ultra dry skin this may serve you well but for me it just was too much.

I found this body butter had the most amazing smell- I was instantly thinking of walking along the sparkling sand of an island as flowers bloomed nearby. The product is a bit greasy which I don't like so I think I will only use this in winter. I would have preferred if this was watered down and made into a hand cream- would love smelling it on my hands all day.
