Bio Oil

I used this on my pregnancy. It is easily available in any supermarket. I like it and will recommend it to other mums as well. It has a delicate scent and is perfect to those who have sensitive sense of smell on their pregnancy. You have to be religious on its application to see some results.

I used this when I was first pregnant with my first child it didn't stop or prevent strech marks from appearing.

I got this because I have stretch marks and scars that I wanted to help fade. I used this religiously everyday for weeks and didn't notice any difference, So I went to get more, but the price always made me wince. After months of using it and not seeing any difference, I decided to save my money and leave it alone. It did make my skin feel amazing, but it wasn't worth the price just for that.

I don't use this on my stretch marks or scars because I find it just doesn't work. HOWEVER, I still love this product and want to keep using it. Why? Because it gives amazing hydration to my skin. It makes it feel so soft and definitely helps to even out my skintone on my face. I have a moisturizer in a pot at the moment so I just mixed a few drops of this into what's left so far and I find it makes my not-so-great moisturizer into a pretty awesome one. It also sits well under make up which I didn't even think about when I mixed it, but am very pleasantly surprised by. I personally also like the packaging and find it very easy to not overuse product. I also like the smell, although I don't think it's the kind of scent that's for everyone. Also it doesn't irritate my skin or make me break out which is wonderful.

I used this throughout my pregnancy and while I know that if you are detsined for stretch marks nothing will stop them, I feel that it didn't live up to the hype I had been lead to believe. But in saying that it is a great moisturiser especially for dry skin and it absorbs quickly into the skin. I use it often for daily moisturising

I got the 125ml bottle on discount and it lasted aaaaages!! Although it didnt help to reduce stretch marks as much as I had hoped, it left my skin hydrated, and I really like the smell, I would use it again, but wouldn't recommend it as it is not very effective for the price.

I used Bio Oil on my stomach and legs when i was pregnant with both my kids. I made sure i used it twice a day as my tummy grew and started to itch, it relieved the itching and prevented stretch marks. I didn't use it on my scars as I wasn't sure if it would work on scars from when I was 5 years old, (they just faded a bit over time anyway). It wasn't very good in the summer though as it didn't absorb well into my skin and when i got hot it just felt yuck and slimy.

I have tried bio oil a few times. I found it pleasant to use and I like the smell.Although there was no noticeable difference to my skin, it made it feel nice and would be useful for a bit of a treat for you skin from time to time. I found you just needed a small amount and it absorbed really well. The packaging is basic but functional.

I decided to try some of this a while ago after hearing what 'incredible results' it had for surgery scars, and recently having had surgery, I got sucked in.

This comes in a little bottle, there isn't a pump or anything you just tip the bottle to get a little bit out. It is very oily, and tends to get all over the bottle when you use it despite how hard you try not to which is pretty annoying. It doesn't have much of a scent. I found this glides onto my skin easily but doesn't absorb fast, it just sits there and sometimes wipes off onto my clothing. I noticed a bit of a difference in my surgery scars but not a huge difference, and so I'm wondering if another oil would work better.

Overall I probably wouldn't purchase this again. It just didn't work for me and didn't make a big enough difference to justify the price. It also became really messy which was quite annoying.

I used this both times I was pregnant. Great for moisturising and the itchiness but does not stop stretchmarks. It does smell nice and is easily absorbed so doesn't leave skin oily for long and is easily washed from hands. In saying that I am too afraid to not use it.. even though it didn't stop stretchmarks, I wonder if they would have been worse if I hadn't used this. Will be using third time around for sure.
