Schick Hydro Silk Razor Review

Now as you may already be aware, shavers are one of those necessary items in life. Over the last 10 years I've tried everything that has been on the market, all promising the same results and not always being the best. To the point, men's shavers always did the job so much better!

But after trying the Schick Hydro Silk Razor I was pretty impressed, to the point I went back and purchased extra shaver heads which never usually happens. I'm one to buy what ever is on special at the time, and if that means a brand new shaver instead of a pack of shaver heads then so be it.

The Schick Hydro Silk Razor itself fits perfectly in my hands, it has a good grip and doesn't easily slip out of my hands which is important, nobody likes cutting their legs when shaving... It's seriously so painful for such a tiny little cut. The Razor also has a good built-in serum strip, so with a slight touch of water it makes gliding across your skin so much easier, don't leave it near water when not in use though... it will vanish. And ofcourse, the most important part to the Razor is the blades. Having enough blades is important but the Schick Hyrdo Silk Razor has curved blades to follow the natural shape of your body and give you a clean smooth result.

Will definitely buy again!

I have used many other razors before, from cheaper disposables, to electric shavers, and have found that the re-placeable blade razors are the most cost effective. This particular razor is very reasonably priced against other brands out there. I did find that the moisture serum ran out much quicker than the blade itself went blunt, so if you are replace heads as soon as the serum has gone, you will be spending a lot more on blades.

I like the look and feel of this razor when you hold it. The blades are easy to remove and replace and come in individually sealed packs.

This razor gives a very close shave, and the moisture serum makes it glide across your skin. The blades are laid very flat meaning you get that close shave without being able to easily cut yourself.

Overall this is one of the better razors I have used and would recommend it to others.

I was excited to buy this lovely looking razor. The packaging is very inticing!!

This was very easy to use. The handle is nice and luxurious and easy grib. The shave itself was great - it glides easily over legs and armpits. This gave a really close shave thanks to the 5 blades and I did not knick myself at all!

The extra bonus with this razor is the lovely moisturising serum wich left my lefts extra supple after shaving.

The razor itself is a good price but is a shame replacement blades are a bit expensive

The packaging is attractive and eye catching, you can clearly see that it has 5 blades for a close shave and a serum for moisture.

The unit is a great design and easy to hold and use while shaving either legs or underarms.

The blades shave effortlessly and glide over your skin leaving it super soft and silky.

The moisturising strips dry up pretty quickly but I replace my blades quite frequently so get to enjoy the moisture they put back into your skin for the short time it works.

Definitely my favourite razor and not bad for the price!!

This is so far the best razor I have used. It definitely does what it says it will, it glides over my skin so smoothly and leaves it feeling soft and silky. I find I don't tend to nick myself as much with this razor as I have done in the past with others. I find the moisturising strips tend to go quite gooey, then wear off quickly, they are nice while they last but you don't really miss them when they're gone. This is by far the nicest razor I have used, it's very comfortable to use and it gives a really nice close shave.

This is my go to shaver. I used to think Id save money and buy the crappy ones. To be fair I was a student. But its so worth buying a better shaver, getting a more comfortable shave and less cuts. I have no issues with this product whatsoever. I love it.

Ahhhh, this razor is a god-send! It is so easy to use, it glides effortlessly over the skin (including creases such as armpits and knobbly bits like knees), it gives an extremely close shave and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated, rather than dry and irritated like a lot of razors do. Well worth the money, you wont be disappointed!

I switched to this razor after years of using the Venus. Venus was ok but I desired something to give me an even smoother finish and gave this a go. When I first used it and in fact any new blades there is a moisturising layer that gets goopy and dissolves very quickly. I wish this layer wasn't even a part of the razor because as I use shaving cream or soap in the shower, I don't need this moisturising layer. However the blades are what makes this razor what it is. My legs are super smooth, like silk! Every time I use this I am not disappointed and the head lasts for ages.

For a number of years I have been using my husbands razor in the shower and never thought anything of it. I found the Schick Hydro Silk Razor on special so I thought I would grab one. Best decision ever! I love it. The way my legs feel after my shower is amazing, and so silky smooth and soft. It is so easy to use and follows the contours of my body really well. I have had no nicks or grazes and never seem to miss any patches either.I dont use any products with it as it runs over my skin effortlessly. I cant reccomed this razor enough, I am only sorry I didnt find it sooner!

i bought this product for the first time just the other day. it leaves my skin feeling nice and looking good too. it just glides across my skin without leaving little bumps like other razors ive used in the past. highly recommend it
