Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat Review

Getting this was a mistake, I got this in the Beauty review vault but I added this to my cart thinking it was a black nail polish, talk about doing things in a rush, I didn't want to miss out.

The Sally Hansen miracle gel bottles are so cute, I really like the packaging of the bottle, they are more stable compared to the cheap nail polish I own.

I like this brush, it is wide and flat, it adds a consistent amount of top coat on to your nails, and it gets the shop done so quickly and effectively. I am highly impressed how there is little to no scent with this range of nail polish and dry time is very quick.

I have a wide range of cheap nail polish that doesnt last very long but since I got this top coat it gives my nails a much longer wear time before they chip. Without the top coat my cheap nail polish would last a few hours to 1 day. Now it is prolonged to 3 day plus.

I highly recommend this top coat, It has been very handy to use, not to mention fast to apply and fast drying.

I have found this to be a really good top coat on both the miracle gel nail polish as well as my regular nail polish. It increased my regular nail polish from like 2 days wear to closer to a week without chipping to pieces which is awesome!! I really like the brush it comes with as well its rounded and quite dense and I found it really easy to get a clean aplication. Overall it's a great top coat I will happily use again

I am a massive fan of this product. I abuse my nails daily and this product seals my nail polish in place. Leaves a beautiful glossy look and dries super fast no waiting around and chipping level is minimal. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a UV light free gel nail finish.

That is not a typo. The brush on this is awesome, three strokes and you're done. I usually use two coats of this however because I like a really glossy top coat and sometimes I feel the one coat just doesn't cut it.

My only real gripe is that even if your miracle gel colour coats are dry, this will pick up the colour again, so say if I've done a metallic feature nail with a plain colour on the rest and use the top coat on the metallic first, it will transfer bits of metallic to the other nails. I just work around this and do metallic nails last.

Lasts ages and ages. And works nicely with other polishes too.

I was really excited to use Sally Hansen's Gel Polishes as I love having my nails painted, I hate when they start chipping and I don't have time to re-paint my nails every couple of days.

The Miracle Gel definitely lasts a bit longer than standard nail polish but really only maybe a day more.

I do like the shine this top coat gives though, and it doesn't fade.

The bush is a reasonably big one, so you get a good amount to cover a full nail in one dip.

The handle is a biggish one which I find easier to hold.

I will keep using this - I'm going to give it a go over top of normal Nail polish on my next paint

I have only just started to get into Sally Hansen polishes because they aren't readily available in our small town farmers so have to travel or buy online. And I regret not buying them sooner they really are the bees knees. The top coat is the best out of the 3 different brands of top coats I own.

The brush is the same as the gel polishes it's flat with the corners rounded off making it very easy to apply. the bottle is sturdy and easy to hold

I love how this keeps my nail polish looking glossy and shiny and it definitely helps to prevent chipping. It also helps to dry your nail polish if it's still slightly wet. After using this I'm completely in love and wouldn't be able to be without it now.

I use this for my SH gel range but also my other nail polishes as I love the shine and it makes my polish last a couple of days longer.

I love to wear nail polish, but don't have time to do my nails more than once a week, and need polish that can last a week without chipping (chipped nails looks really unprofessional at work). I also don't want to spend money on a salon or deal with fiddly at home UV lamps that are pretty expensive. Id tried other at home gel nail polish (I remember trying the Avon one), but other than a glossy finish they were no longer lasting than other polishes. I was pleasantly surprised with Sally Hansen's version. If you are careful and really follow the instructions (two coats of the colour base coat, letting it thoroughly dry between each coat), and then let the UV top coat dry in natural UV light (you need to actually let your nails dry in bright daylight, thought direct sunlight isn't necessary) it'll last a good 10 days - and I was not particularly careful with my nails (plenty of picking out staples and spiral binding at work). However, if you don't follow the process (for example, I tried drying the top coat in artificial light at night) the finish looks the same but isn't as long lasting. Still far and away the best at home gel nail polish I've ever tried!

This top coat is the only top coat I use. It comes in a blacked out bottle and the brush is flat and perfect and really coats the nail well. The best thing is that this doesn't require a UV light to set, it sets in natural day light. Seriously amazing.

The polish is clear, as most top coats are. I find this works best with the other Sally Hansen gel polishes, but you can also use this on other polishes and I have found it makes them last just that little bit longer.

I find that this polish doesn't chip either, rather it peels. It's slightly annoying but I'll get over it because it leaves my nails bright, shiny and with this top coat I find my nails have lasted almost 2 weeks without any chips/peeling. It's seriously amazing, and I'm not breaking up with it, ever!!
