Revlon ColorStay Foundation - Normal/Dry Skin Review

I absolutely love this foundation. It is by far the best I have ever used. It works really well with the Revlon photoready primer. This foundation is really easy to apply and doesn't cake itself on. I have rather dry skin, yet this foundation doesn't accent this like foundation usually does. I will definitely continue to buy this.

My go to foundation! Great coverage always works. Makes my skin look flawless when I need it to. Would recommend it to anyone and everyone. I have fairly normal pale skin with freckles and red cheeks but I managed to find a colour that suited me perfectly.

Because I have dry/flaky skin on most of my face, I struggle to find foundations that don't get caky or gross in those areas. This was recommended to me by the makeup counter woman at my local pharmacy. The colour range is a little reserved - 110 Ivory was the closest to my skin tone and it works well enough but it's not a perfect match. Otherwise, a great product, and I've never broken out because of it.

I love revlon colour stay I use it for my everyday foundation has pretty good coverage I have freckles and it covers them pretty well it blends easily and builds well without giving off that caked look and is affordable price even better!

This foundation has been the best I have found. It is very affordable (which is always good!), it is light to apply and does not feel like it is caked on, gives great long lasting coverage, and is SPF20. Love it!

I have wanted to try this foundation for a long time after reading many fabulous reviews!

First of all I was torn between buying the Normal/Dry and the Oily/Combo, I suppose I have combination skin, it seems to change a lot. My t-zone can get oily and my chin is very breakout prone but then my chin also gets really dry and this drives me crazy with foundation! In the end I decided to go with the Normal/Dry because my biggest foundation complaint is caking in dry areas (like my terrible chin!).

So I matched myself as the Sand Beige but decided I would also get the sales assistant to do a match, she thought Nude or Sand Beige. To be honest I would have liked one in between, the Nude is a touch too pink and the sand beige a touch too yellow. I went with the Sand Beige and am 99% happy.

I had watched many review videos complaining about the lack of a pump so I was really happy to find one on the bottle when I opened it. The glass bottle packaging with pump and lid is nothing exciting but it certainly does the trick, I have no complaints.

Ok! The product! For my first few applications I went with a stippling brush, the formula is a pretty typical liquid consistency, maybe a touch thinner. It goes on easily, however you can't mess about.. it does dry quickly and then adding a new layer is a no go! The coverage is med-full, I think it's perfect! I don't know that I would call it 'build-able' but it doesn't really need it. It feels light but it covers redness and acne scars really well! It blends easily and lasts well, I couldn't say if it lasts 24 hours or not, the longest I have left it on was 10 hours but it had only started wearing off on my chin :) I will say I do still get a bit of caking on dry breakout areas, I am starting to think this is impossible to avoid however.

Another bonus, I can take or leave the finishing powder with this, it sets on to the skin really well without it! For work however I do powder my t-zone.

I have now moved to applying it with a damp blender sponge, it goes on quickly and this allows a lighter coverage for work. I would like to try a kabuki brush!

Overall I love it! Light weight feel, great coverage, easy to use and a good price!

Revlon colourstay is fantastic,I have this foundation in the colour sand,I apply it with a sigma f80 kabuki brush,I blend it into my skin with the brush,it is full coverage and leaves your skin flawless,for a more sheer result I have used a damp beauty blender,skin still looked flawless,I found it to stay on at least 10 hours ,then when I checked my makeup I was only oily on my chin and forehead,I recomend this foundation if you like the staying power of a foundation,I would buy again for sure.

This foundation is perfect for my skin, i had really bad acne in my early 20's and was super paranoid about it and so now i am so picky about what i put on my skin. This foundation provides great coverage with out being too heavy and doesn't cause my skin to break out.

This is by far my holly grail foundation of all time. there is such a wide variety of color ranges to choose from. And I would say it is defiantly a full coverage foundation that has a flawless semi dewy finish on my skin type. however i don't believe it is true to the fact of long lasting, it doesn't last more than 8 hours with starting to fade. even with a face/foundation primer

I have this foundation in both normal/dry and combo/oily i like to use the dry verson in winter and combo in summer. This is and always be one of my favourite foundations. It has such a good selection of shades, medium coverage (buildable to full), matte finish and lasts all day it does not oxidise or cake up on my skin. Highly recommend
