Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain Review

These are my all time fave. They are moisturizing, smell amazing and LAST! I have multiple of these between my handbag work bag and bathroom cabinet. Easy to chuck on for a semi natural pop of colour that's stays on. I wear these on an every day basis

Convenience is key with this wee gem, the compact, well designed &, sleek packaging, allows for easy storage, ensuring this chubby balm is never far from reach. My favourite feature of this product, is the effortless application, no mirror , liner or time required, making it my go to when I’m on the run and don’t have time to check my face. The balms shades are bright, long lasting and high quality & have a light ,smooth & glossy texture, aposed to most stains which have that gross, heavy & sticking feeling to them.

I am not a huge fan of listicks as they dry my lips out majorly so I love these! They feel like a lip balm but with the colour of a lipstick. I have them in most colours and they are my go to for a night out. I love how easy they are to use, no lip liner required and easy to apply on the go without a mirror. The colour is long lasting and the stain makes it last even longer (I use the glossy version as opposed to matte). I was recently given a Clinique Chubby Stick which is more expensive but I prefer my Revlon version!

Goes on easily, good glossy but not sticky texture, decent colours for an affordable price.Not particularly moisturizing however, so stay hydrated and use lip balms.

These are the perfect everyday coloured balm. Stick them in your purse, you never need to sharpen, they are moisturizing and give a kiss of colour. And as a bonus, you dont need a mirror to apply! All around a great product and I highly recommend!

I stumbled on this when I couldn't afford to replace a Clinique Chubby Stick Lip Balm. This is now my go to in preference to the Clinique - at half the price for the same performance why wouldn't it be? The product is a crayon format, that goes on glossy but not sticky and stays on for ages, especially the darker colours. I love Smitten as one of the few red lip colours that stay relatively true on me not going pink. Honey which is a pinky neutral doesn't last quite as well but gives a beautiful slick of colour and moisturises well. They have a hint of mint or cinnamon (I can never decide which) to act as a plumper I presume, but the scent fades quickly and is not unpleasant. The only downside is that like many crayon style products the lids do not stay on all that well so you have to be a bit careful slinging it into your bag

I love this range! My experience with lip stain in the past has been memorable for all the wrong reasons (hey, it was the 90s) but I'm happy to say my mind has been changed and this is the range responsible. The lipbalm is so lightweight you don't even feel it's on your lips, the crayon applicator makes it super-easy to apply, the stain makes sure the colour lasts all day once the gloss disappears (if you don't reapply, you can always slap on a bit of clear gloss in a hurry and you still have the same colour, albeit a more natural, lighter version). Basically a win/win in my book - I love them! Working on getting the whole range into my burgeoning makeup bag... don't tell the hubby.

I am obsessed with lip tints so I have tried so many of lip tint brands out there. Nothing can beat the lasting power of 'Nyx Epic Ink,' however the dark colours of Chateau Labiotte and Revlon comes very close. The dark colours from these brands can lasts upto and beyond 12 hour mark even with meals and showers in between. I have used all of the colours in this range and smitten, crush, sweetheart, adore, romantic and rendezvous are my favourites.

CHARM - Nude (Not noticeable on dark lips and doesn't last long), PRECIOUS - Nude beige (A bit darker than CHARM but still unnoticeable on pigmented lips and doesn't last), HONEY DEUCE - nude pasty pink (A bit darker than PRECIOUS but still unnoticeable on dark lips and doesn't last), CHERISH - Very light nude pink (Doesn't last long and not very noticeable on dark lips), DARLING - Nude pink (Darker than CHERISH but doesn't last long and not very noticeable on dark lips), RENDEZVOUS - Orange (Good visibility even on pigmented lips and lasts a while), ROMANTIC - Red with orange undertones (Visible and Long lasting), ADORE - Brick red (Visible and Long lasting), SWEETHEART - Pink with orange undertones (Visible and Long lasting), LOVESICK - Pink with blue undertones ( Visible and Long lasting), SMITTEN - Pink that darken to a maroon if you apply few coats ( Lasts upto 12 hours and beyond), CRUSH - Brick burgundy (Lasts upto 12 hours and beyond)

One con I have to mention is that these aren't very moisturising to the lips. So I always apply a lip balm or a gloss on top of it.
