L'Oreal Revitalift Laser Renew Anti-Ageing Glycolic Pads Review

This product comes in a round red pottle with a screw on lid. The Scent reminds me of alcohol swabs at the hospital. It's not a horrible smell but some may not like it.

I have never seen this product before so I was very curious to use it. There are 30 presoaked pads for daily use. After you cleanse your face you apply one pad in circular motions over your face avoiding your eye and lip. And then you let your skin dry naturally and follow with your night-time skincare routine.

Glycolic acid is apparently the holy grail for exfoliating. It removes the top layer of dead cells from your skin therefore allowing your night time routine to work better.

I feel this product definitely helped and would highly recommend.

I tried this serum along with the matching Revitalift day and night creams and the serum. The wipes come in a plastic screw top jar which makes them easy to use and stops them from drying out. They have two sides with a smoother and rougher side which is meant to be more intense - I personally don’t think this made any difference. Having used glycolic products before - these are strong!! I experienced a slight tingling sensation after application (which it does say is possible) so decided to only use every other night to start with to avoid my skin reacting. I used the wipes in combination with the matching L’Oréal day and night cream and serum. I think using the wipes in combination with other other Revitalift products has reduced the fine lines around my eyes. I would use again as I quite like the feeling that you are wiping away your dead skin cells to fresher, younger skin beneath.

30 anti-aging glycolic peel pads ... I was nervous to try! The first pad I used felt a little stingy on my skin but after that first use it has felt nothing but refreshing. I do have to continually remind myself that it is not a makeup removal pad as it is the same size and feel! You really wouldn't want to forget and think you were removing your eye makeup! You will also quickly find any cuts you may have on your fingers! After a week of using on a daily basis I had started to notice that my skin was looking considerably fresher and younger and that the tiny bumps I have had on my chin for over a decade had vanished! The wrinkles around my eyes only appear now when I smile. I still have my forehead and frown lines but I can see them slowly starting to reduce so will continue using the pads. I also found it worked quite well to remove any residue makeup after cleansing so no need for a toner! I am very happy with how my skin is looking and feeling - it is definitely looking younger and more radiant and feels very smooth, fresh and clean. I can't believe the little bumps on my chin have gone - I thought I was going to be stuck with those forever. As there are 30 pads in the round container it will be necessary to make this purchase once a month.

These little pads are magical! I had some acne scarring which has faded significantly and large pores which have reduced which I am sure .has occured after using this product. The pads are a good thickness and easy to use plus smell very nice. I have used a similar product priced at almost double these gylcolic pads and prefer these ones. I'll definately purchase more

I thoroughly enjoyed my night time routine using these pads that are presoaked in a glycolic complex. Initially, you can feel a slight tingle on your skin, but it has soothing and moisturising ingredients to balance it out. A container has 30 peel pads in and the price would be steeper to maintain, but the results are worth it as I noticed an improvement in my skin texture and acne scarring after a couple of days use. I would definitely recommend this product if you have uneven skin tone or texture.

Love the packaging this product came in very classy looking and easy to use. Inside there are 30 pre soaked pads with a Glycolic Complex. These are used after cleansing and really did leave my skin feeling totally refreshed and cleaner. They have a slightly bumpier side and a smoother side which I feel could be used dependant on if you have sensitive skin. They say to use every night but I ended up using every couple of nights and this worked well for me. At the start I tried them out on mt chest area and wow really did notice a difference in how my skin felt then I tried it on my face and loved them. Very easy to use and no mess and a pleasant smell that wasn't overpowering.

I've only ever used a glycolic peel before so this was something new. I do love the feeling of your skin though after using a gylcolic peel and this was no different.

These are pre infused cotton pads that sit in a pot. You just pick one out and use it like you would a toner. I really, really, liked them. It's like a deep clean for your skin. It's certainly not as strong as lotion type glycolic peels which make it perfect for everyday use. I use them every second day and have had compliments about my skin since using them. I love the convenience of them as well.

Glycolic acid is an AHA which is a big deal in skincare right now. A gentle chemical exfoliate, the pads are designed to loosen and sweep dead skin cells off your face without messing around with manual scrubs. I tend to use a daily gentle scrub cleanser so I was skeptical if these would make any difference to my skin. As I also have ridiculously reactive skin I was also a little concerned that they may just irritate my skin. The instructions say to start off every day and space out applications if irritation occurs but after doing some research I decided to start with space applications and build up. I can use the pads for two days in a row but then my skin starts to start looking inflamed. That said on a 2 days on one day off pattern my skin is feeling and looking smoother. These come in a plastic jar that matches the red and grey colour scheme of the rest of the range of the range. The pads have a smooth and a textured side. I have been using the smooth side on my face and the textured side on my neck and decolletage which I figured could handle a little bit of manual exfoliation as well. The pads do smell slightly chemically but also quite apple-y (which makes sense as apples are a source of one form of AHA!) Applying them is a matter of rubbing the pad in small circles over the face and neck. The lotion takes a moment or two to dry but nothing major. And for smooth, glowing, no break outs in this stupidly humid weather, it is worth it!

The box looks effective with the colours on the box, you notice immediately that they are different with the white portion on the front of the box. I checked around for similar products and found this to be competitive in the marketplace for this type of item. The container not recyclable from what I can see, the fragrance was strong upon opening. As I used the product the fragrance did not reduce, I found that the pads to be too strong for me. The pads themselves were easy to use, but hard to only grab 1 at a time, it also was good at striping my nail polish, which was a concern especially when it was going on my face. The damp residue left from the pads lasted quite a while, this made the rest of the process to take longer than I would like. The pads had enough liquid in it to do 2 faces if necessary. This product I would possibly not recommend to anyone as I found it not pleasant to use and made no noticeable change to my face. My skin does not look noticeably wrinkle free or reduced, or smoother from this product.

These are great little pads that have a different exfoliation level on each side that is a great little skin buffer! I tended to use the coarser surface more and gave my skin a good gentle exfoliation, rubbing in small circular motions after cleansing my skin thoroughly. I found my skin tingled a little during use and any small breaks in my skin (due to breakouts) did feel a little stingy although this didn't bother me as I knew the glycolic acid would help with the healing of my pimples. I found my skin felt smooth after use and not greasy at all. I didn't feel the need to use a toner as I normally would when using these pads as they took off any remaining make up traces. My skin definitely felt great after using these pads but I feel I could use a slightly stronger acid content as I have used glycolic cream in the past that has been a lot stronger. I do think these are quite expensive to use but you could probably get away with cutting each pad in half if you were being frugal and probably get a similar result. I stored my jar upside down so that IF there was any excess liquid, it would be on the top pads at time of use but the formula seems to be well dispensed between the pads.
