L'Oreal Revitalift Laser Renew Anti-Ageing Glycolic Pads Review

On initial opening of this I wasn't sure that it would be work. The pads are meant to be pre-soaked in a glycolic complex, yet they felt very dry to the touch, so I was doubtful there was enough product to do anything. I was wrong.

Each pad is double sided with one side rougher than the other. As my skin isn't sensitive and needs all the help it can get to deal with pigmentation, acne scarring and pock marks, I went for the more exfoliating side.

I applied this in circular motions around my face and was amazed that despite a thorough cleansing it still picked up makeup and dirt. I didn't notice any stinging or discomfort, and I did wonder if it was doing anything.

One month on and I can see it did a lot. My pigmentation has reduced to the point you really have to look to see it. My pock marks are less so. My acne scarring has visibly improved.

I am sold and will repurchase these - although will probably cut them in half to make them go a little further.

I was pleasantly surprised by the % of glycolic acid in the pads - just under 10%. The salon brand peel I use monthly is 15%, so for a daily product and an introduction to glycolic acid, these are perfect.

The pads are pre-soaked in the solution, and have stayed moist throughout the trial.

One side of the pad is more textured, for a more exfoliating use. I use this side, but I did try the softer side, and it's lovely and I think would be great for people who don't want an abrasive treatment.

I felt a slight tingling which wasn't at all uncomfy - it was just the glycolic doing it's thang.

My skin felt smooth after use, the product absorbed very quickly.

Gosh these make my skin look fantastic. Baby soft, more even texture and luminous.

Will be repurchasing, and recommending to all!

I was very surprised with this product, it did what it said it would do. Although the smell was a bit overwhelming. It definitely cleaned my skin more than anything else I have used. My skin was left feeling light and smooth. It has helped keep my skin so smooth my foundation just glides on.

The packaging was very attractive and the container vibrant and easy to use. The instructions were on the back under the label and also on the box.

Holy moley! What a clean! Unfortunately a bit of a sting and burn especially if you have the slightest break in your skin that you weren't aware of. Only temporary though and my skin felt 15 years softer in combination with the night cream.

I was a little scared to use these at first and found I didnt reach for them as much as the moisturiser. Some nights I didnt have time to use them. They came in an easy to use container and had well written instructions on how and where to use them. They had a nice smell and ended up being easy to use

So I found this product quite interesting. I used these every night as instructed. At first the smell of them blew me away, in fact my family used the bathroom after me and thought some sort of chemical warfare had happened in them. After using the product after a week I did notice a difference in skin brightness, my skin certainly wasn't as dull. My pores have reduced slightly, not a great deal but a small difference. I would definitely recommend using these as part of your beauty regime. They have defiinitely made a difference to my skin.

This was one of my favourite products in the Anti Ageing Regime. The first time I used them I was nervous as my skin can sometimes be sensitive but aside from a tingling the first time it was a refreshing part of the day. I was able to use this every day although I chose to skip a day most of the time. Since using the Anti Ageing Regime from L'Oreal I have had a lot of compliments on my skin and how good its looking

This product was interesting. I have never used anything like this before. I didn't know what to expect from it. Carefully reading the packaging that states some very bold claims I was deeply skeptical.

However I was pleasantly surprised at the results. I think the claim of brighter skin after one use is a real thing. My skin did look fresher, more youthful with a brightness that normally comes after a great restful holiday.

I used it as part of a night regime. I did feel a slight prickly stinging and heat in my skin as I let it dry on my skin, and a slight warm stinging when I applied the rest of the products.

I can't say I had that same youthful glow in the morning though. I just looked like my normal tires self.

But every time I use this product there is a short window of time where my skin looks so radiant and wonderful. I wish it lasted longer though.

I also tried it during the day, I don't advise it, with the stinging and the heat and then the mostuiriser migration issues I had with the day cream, it wasn't pretty. I guess that's why it's part of a night regime.

The X3 range is packaged beautifully in bohemian red style glass pottles with silver lids. The packaging is minimal and clean.

The scent was very soft and subtle, almost non-existent with these wipes. The wipe pads were circular with a cross hatched textured pattern for easy handling the pads were soaked wet with product. Really easy to apply. Really pleased with the results.

Initially I was a little concerned about this trial as my skin has been a bit sensitive of late. So with more than a little trepidation after cleansing my skin on the first night I opened the jar. Inside, 30 cotton pads soaked with a glycolic complex. Wow, so easy to use, just wipe them over your face and neck in a circular motion and you're done. I felt a slight tingle at first, but nothing unpleasant and my skin really did feel smoother after the first time. I thought I might have got a bit blotchy but if anything, my skin was clearer than it was prior. Well worth the price. I will definitely be using this one on-going.

I have hormonal adult acne (not too bad, but the unkind cyst type breakouts every so often) so i was extremly excited to be chosen to review this range. I have tried glycolic facials in the salon before but not really an inhome regime.

The 9.6% Glycolic pads come in a plastic screw top lid container, these are 30 pre soaked pads and are a great way to kick start the regime. One side of the pad is textured and the other side is smoother so you can choose how intense you would like to exfoliate. I used a new pad every night as I found this is a great way to ensure all last traces of makeup and grime are thoroughly removed, and what better way to kickstart the process. I didnt feel any tingling or sensitivity when using these pads, other than slight tingling around existing acne spots. After 4 weeks of using these pads my skin feels and appears a lot smoother, and it has reduced my hyperpigmentation slightly. My makeup applies beautifully.

Cons: Unfortunately I still experience breakouts, possibly hormonal so no fault of the product, and the pads leave a residue on my skin which I am not a fan of, its like a tacky, wet feeling which never really disapears.

I would definitely use these again if I was to kickstart the reigeme as I really do feel these work.
