Expensive for the terrible outcome.

When I brought this a month ago I thought it was going to be the best shaver to use, it has a protective cap (which most do), and a soap with the razer. This made me believe that I wouldn't have to soap and shave, soap and shave. Boy was I wrong! The first two times I didn't need to soap before shaving, however the rest I had to soap. It was a difficult shaver to use. It was unsteady as the head is 'flexible' it made it harder to keep it straight when shaving. I don't find it all that difficult to shave and I rarely ever miss parts, however I found that this shaver was to 'flexible' and I missed a lot of hair. Also after use, my legs were drier then ever and I had to use double the moisturiser. Its just not the product for me. I found the product to disappointing and I will never fork out that much money on a shaver again. The plus side for the product was the smell of it, I like how my legs smelt afterwards.

Good product but expensive to maintain.

I have used this razor for a couple of years now. The inbuilt moisturiser gives a really nice skin conditioning and moisturising effect. It is ideal to not have to lather the shave gel or body wash before shaving and also minimise getting the product blocking up the blades. Really great to be able to do it in one step!

With a new head, you can get great results with a really smooth close shave.

There are a few downsides to this product however. The biggest pain is that the built-in moisturiser often breaks off after 4-5 uses which removes the moisturising effect. This often happens if I leave the razor in the shower and it stays wet. I hate shaving once this has fallen off because the head is very flexible and the edges of the blade section aren't very smooth. The bad thing about this is that the replacement heads are very expensive. It costs $18 for three new heads. You have to buy on sale!!

The razor is quite big which means that you often miss spots in the underarms, ankles and knees as it cannot get in to the hard to reach areas.

Overall though, I think this is a very good razor but is expensive to keep using.

Tips: Don't leave the razor in the shower/wet and buy the replacement blades when they are on special :)

Razor

I enjoyed this while it lasted. I purchased it on sale as I usually just buy the cheaper disposable razors. I liked the moisturiser soap aspect of it and that you only had to use water and not lather up with soap or shave gel. However after a few uses the soap piece started to break away (I hadn't left it in the shower) and the edges of where the soap was began scratching my legs.

I don't feel this gave me a closer shave or more lasting smoothness than any other razor.

I feel that you would go through refills very quickly and would get expensive fast.

Tips: Buy on sale

Schick Intuition

I absolutely love this product. No razor burn or cuts, it glides over the skin smoothly and moisturizes as it goes. I purchased it when it was new to the shelf and had a great special. To buy the refills is very expensive which is disappointing, I tend to buy a whole new pack rather than the refill packs as it works out more cost effective. I have noticed thou that the moisture soap breaks off after a few uses, so you need to be mindful of how you store it when not in use as it doesn't seem to last as long as it did when it first come out, but the blades do stay sharp after multiple uses.

Tips: Try not to let your hair grow to long between shaves as this can and does clog rather quickly and can be a pain to clean out without wasting the moisture soap attached to it.

I love my intuition razor.

I love my intuition razor. It's super quick and convenient for legs and underarms, especially in summer when you're shaving more frequently. It's also great for travelling. Granted it is a little bulky but I find it works better and lasts way longer than regular shavers.

My only issue with this product is the price of the refills .. I feel they're a bit pricey.

Tips: Keep this out of the shower between uses, it helps a bit in slowing down the erosion of the soap part.

schick intuition renewing moisture razor

I decided to purchase this shaver due to needing a new one due to my pure nourishment one getting broken by my partner and decided to give this one a go. I actually love the design of this shaver as it is different from my other plain shavers such as the Venus range which I used for years. I prefer using this due to it being wider which makes it faster for you to shave your legs. My legs feel so smooth and silky after I use this due to the soapy bit around the blades. I have been using this shaver non stop and will definitely keep on purchasing it as I think it is definitely worth the money.I also prefer it because it is chunkier and I find it is easier to handle.

Great in theory!

I used this razor for over a year before switching to the shick hydro 5 (yes it's a men's razor but I find it does a much better job!). Of all the brands (and styles) this feels the nicest going over the skin as you shave but like others have said the soap part does disintegrate really quickly so you end up needing to use shaving cream as well. Also if you leave it in the shower/bath the soap part is prone to bacteria.

I think the shave I got was not bad, on par with others of the same price. Because the head is so big I struggled using it on awkward areas (ankles especially - I cut myself repeatedly) and would need to touch up after showering which is not ideal! It does smell nice but I prefer non scented beauty products as I have very sensitive skin. Refills are also too expensive as others mentioned.

It's just okay really.

Old favorite

Ok, it seems I may be one of the few who really like this. I enjoy the convenience of the built in moisture bar (I don't like having to purchase a separate shaving gel or foam). I have never cut myself when using this. I do use a moisturizer after shaving my legs, but that is because I have dry skin anyway and have eczema. The only sticking point is the price point. Yes it is expensive to buy the refills but I often buy in bulk when The Warehouse has a sale. Sometimes I find that it is cheaper to buy an entire new head as they often work out cheaper than the refill packs.

Tips: For a smoother and even more moisturizing leg shave, double up and use a bit of hair conditioner on your legs instead of shaving gel/foam. (Great tip from a Dermatologist)

first and last time i purchase this

the first thing I noticed about this product was the lush overwhelming scent of pomegranate :) it was very prominent. anyway, I like the bulky easy to grip handle, the soap goes on surprisingly easy (although I lathered it abit with my hand) and the scent is pleasant . However it doesn't give a very close shave, the head wobbles abit, and the soap bar makes it hard to move around tricky bits e.g ankles and knees. Also I don't like having the exposed soap head, I worry about it being exposed and going gross and dried out. overall its ok but wouldn't recommend or repurchase

Does the job

I seem to be one of the few people that appreciate this product for what results it gives. Initially I was concerned about the price of the starter pack, but as soon as I used it, it was sweet relief from the budget razors I had been using before. This gave me smooth and moisturized legs without my having to lather my legs up in another product before shaving. My legs would be silky and and I felt like the took a lot of the stress out of shaving, I nearly never nicked myself either, perhaps only around my ankles, as the size could become an issue. There were unfortunately a few reasons why I gave it a 3/5 for 'would you use it again?'. 1. The price of the refills was the most expensive I had seen in the supermarket for a shaving razor refill, around $18 for two or three? 2. The moisturising bars on it would sometimes dissolve rather quickly when the razor was still sharp and good for use. On a few occasions the bars split and broke up mid-shave after I had used it a couple of times. Unfortunately these points have resulted in me changing back to a cheaper option.

Tips: Keep it out of the shower to prevent the moisturizing bar from dissolving during use of the shower from others.
