Colgate Optic White Toothpaste review

Use this toothpaste after having extensive dental work done, in the hope it would whiten n brighten my smile. After 2 weeks of religiously brushing and flossing twice a day (using the optic white toothbrush and paste)...I think its whitened my teeth a few shades...I did notice that I needed to keep using the toothpaste to maintain the overall results. Minor things to note was the minty favour, its kind of tingles (from the chemical reaction in the paste when in contact with water...nothing serious just be mindful).

I only used this product for a few days so I can't comment on whether or not it is effective at whitening your teeth as that takes four weeks of continuous use - but I hated the taste so much! I felt like I hadn't even brushed my teeth, my mouth did not feel fresh afterwards at all!! If I was to continue using this product I think I would either mix it with another toothpaste or brush with another toothpaste first :)

I think I saw results with this toothpaste, but I can't guarantee that I did. I feel like my teeth may have brightened up slightly but they don't look necessarily 3 shades brighter than how they started.

I've been using the amount of time they recommend but with the results I don't think I'm sold either way.

It foams up like any other toothpaste and obviously it brushes your teeth just like you would expect.

It's a hit or miss for me.

I found although this was a nice tooth paste it did not really make any difference to the colour of my teeth. I used the whole tube and didn't see any significant change in the shade of my teeth. My teeth did however feel very clean and it left a lovely minty taste in my mouth. I don't think I would use this again unless it was on special or heavily reduced in price. It basically had the same effect to me as a generic Colgate tooth paste would.

Recently I decided to buy this to help whiten my yellow tinged teeth caused from too much coffee and.... dare I say it,smoking!..I was quite disappointed with the end result,my teeth didn't look any whiter or even show any sign of whitening up after a week of using it,not even a slight glimmer of white :(..I have not brought this since.It may be ok for those who don't smoke but it did nothing for me.I am still searching for my HG teeth whitening product.

I was given this toothpaste and was excited to try it out. It had some pretty big claims attached and I really hoped it would follow through. Unfortunately, it didn't happen.

The red tube is quite cool, bright and different. The toothpaste comes out easily, that's good. But that's about where the pluses end for me The texture is bitsy and not very nice, the taste is awful. And most importantly - after a month of using it, I didn't have even slightly whiter teeth. But I did have an irritated throat, which the doctor put down to the toothpaste, and when I stopped it went away. For me, this product was a dud.

I like the bright red packaging. Its very eye catching and fun. The tube is easy to use with a convenient pop up lid, so no worries about missing the cap. The taste of the toothpaste is nice, kind of strong mint taste. I have been using this from a couple of months now, and I can't say my smile have become any more whiter than it was earlier, but it definitely cleans my teeth and keeps breath fresh. I don't think that it whitens teeth but it tastes good and it feels fresh and so I think I would continue using it for some time.

I bought this toothpaste when it was first released in nz as i had seen that it had been released in the uk a few months earlier however i was expecting it to at least whiten my teeth one or two shades lighter but it didn't really seem to make much of a difference in my opinion.

I found that it was quite expensive compared to other toothpastes and wasn't a spectacular product compared to the cheaper toothpastes, if you are wanting to whiten your teeth then there are probably other products that you can purchase online that would do a better job.

The taste of the toothpaste was ok however for the price id rather just buy another toothpaste that also tastes ok.

Highly recommend that if you are looking to dramatically whiten your teeth then look into other products like crest whitening strips that you can purchase online as these seem to actually work whereas i don't think that colgate optic white toothpaste is an amazing product for whitening your teeth.

I had been wanting to try this for a while before I had brought it due to those ads with the girl in different outfits brushing her teeth. When I finally got round to buying it I wish I got it sooner as my teeth felt so clean. I feel like I won't be changing toothpaste anytime soon. everytime I have to use someone else's it just tastes like the weak kids products. The optic white has whitened my teeth and makes them feel properly cleaned.
