Colgate Advanced Whitening Toothpaste Review

I would use this again (I have it at the moment) because it's a good all round toothpaste with a decent price tag. However, whitening? I didn't find it whitened at all. I've used other pastes which hate whitened more, but cost a lot more money and given me a slimy build up on my inner cheeks and gums. I know that's due to the beach content and that's why they work better than this, but at least this doesn't damage your oral tissue. it cleans well, my teeth feel smooth and I don't get bad breath or tartar build up (but that may be due to my electric tooyhbrush? Don't know). It doesn't whiten that I have noticed, but I'm sure my teeth would probably be less white if I used a non whitening paste. A decent buy for the price, but if you're really concerned about whitening, you'll be dissapointed.

This does the job that any toothpaste does - it cleans your teeth. The taste isn't overwhelming or intense like some other toothpastes tend to be. It's nice and minty fresh.

In terms of this whitening your teeth... I have been using this for over 4 months and haven't noticed my teeth getting any whiter. To be fair I drink way, way too much coffee and I do smoke.

I wouldn't recommend this as a tooth whitening product but I would recommend this as a toothpaste in general. It isn't anything special but it works and makes your teeth feel nice and clean.

Used this for about a month and abit. I dont think it pervented stains for me. I brushed my teeth In the morning and then I drunk a whole raspberry drink and I had a pinkish stain on my teeth. I love the taste though and that smooth feeling after brushing also had nice breath. But my teeth didn’t get any whiter, sadly. Just a normal toothpaste really.

I have so much trouble with my teeth and finding a toothpaste that whitens is like next to impossible. I've brought this a few times when it's been on special to give it chance after chance but no success.

It is a great toothpaste for making your teeth feel fresh and clean, you really do feel a difference in how clean they feel, when using this toothpaste my teeth felt significantly stronger, it didn't give me any sensitivity issues compared to other whitening toothpastes.

My issues with this toothpaste was I didn't notice any difference in the colour of my teeth, they stayed the same colour from when I started using the toothpaste down to the last drop, the second problem is the after taste, it tastes like a chemically strong taste, i didn't like it at all.

I score this 3/5, it cleans your teeth very well and doesn't make them sensitive but it doesn't whiten and the after taste is too strong for me.

I had tried colgate total before and wanted to try its whitening version. The tube comes in a whote and silver box with a generic colgate written in red. The original price is a bit steep but I bought it's when it was on special.

The paste is white and I used it morning and night. The mint taste isn't overpowering infact I rather liked it. Left my mouth feeling and tasting great.

However I felt it doesn't really protect for 12 hours as it claims after all that eating and drinking but it does last through most of the day. Also I didnt notice a marked difference in my teeth whitening. But I only used one tube. Might need continuous usage to see any improvement. It did however prevent teeth staining. The color of my teeth remained the same and didnt get worse.

Wouldnt really recommend for teeth whitening but its okay for brusing the teeth.

I would use this again just as a normal toothpaste but not to whiten as it doesnt work. The taste is ok and it cleans well.

Purchased this in our grocery's as it was on special. Taste isn't amazing, but does leave a fresh after taste and ur teeth feel really clean after brushing. Havent noticed any difference in teeth colour after a weeks use. Will continue to us until finished

I have been using this brand for years and years. I am talking about the basic, original Colgate Total, simple white toothpaste, I love the taste, the texture, it is my all time favorite. It also somehow keeps my teeth pretty white according to my friends, SHINNY, beautiful. As for this whitening one, i have tried it as well but i cant say that i noticed a marked difference in my teeth shade. With that said i love it just like the original.

I have used this toothpaste for a while and though it does a reasonable job of cleaning the teeth it doesn't whiten. Im not a smoker or a huge coffee drinker so was hoping it would do a decent job but I didn't notice any difference in terms of color.

I also feel it doesn't last long and I'm so ready to rebrush before the 12 hours are up.
