Rexona Women Diamond Invisible Dry Roll On, Perspiration is a function that the body uses to cool itself. Sweat is clear when it leaves the body, but when it mixes with natural skin oils, any deodorant residue left on your clothes and gets thrown into the wash stains can form on your clothes

Rexona Invisible Dry aerosol antiperspirant has been tested independently against competitive black and white aerosols. Rexona Invisible Dry showed superior performance against yellow stains.

Sweat stains are normal and almost everyone deals with them, but sometimes the marks that deodorant leaves can be too much. Rexona Invisible Dry antiperspirant contains a new, upgraded formulation which provides anti-yellow stains, anti-white marks and anti-sweat benefits.

Great Deodorant, Average Anti-Perspirant

Let me start off this review by saying that I normally stay away from roll-on deodorants. I personally hate the amount of time they take to dry, and I often find they go quite sticky if I do end up sweating (eww!) later on in the day. However, I tried to go into this trial with a non-biased attitude, so that I could give this a completely fair review.

I love the style of the packaging, but not the appearance. I find it really handy to have it sitting upside-down, on the lid, as it means the ball is always coated in product (it doesn’t leak at all, though). It’s a nice easy shape to hold, and the lid twists and clicks shut securely. Like I said, I’m not a huge fan of how it looks: the black and silver reminds me of a men’s deodorant (ooh gender stereotyping here), and overall I’d prefer something a bit more ‘pretty’. That’s just me, however, and overall it’s not hideous, so that’s all good.

It’s easy to apply, as the ball rolls smoothly and is coated evenly with the deodorant. I do find that it (like most roll-ons) takes at least a good 10-15 minutes to dry fully on me – not so much a problem in this hot, sleeveless-top kind of weather, but something that would quickly become annoying to me in winter when I needed to get dressed in a hurry. It dries completely clear, and I haven’t experienced any white marks (bearing in mind again that I’ve been mostly wearing sleeveless tops while testing this).

The scent is extremely fresh, and slightly floral. I do personally find it a little strong, especially initially, as it does clash a tiny bit with my perfumes. However, it mostly fades away after a couple of hours. It definitely masks odours: I’ve had a couple of long days outside in the heat, and even after those, my underarms have remained odour-free. Yay!

However, I’m not entirely convinced about its anti-perspirant claims. It’s definitely better than a deodorant without anti-perspirant, but I have found, especially in this hot weather, that I have got a bit sweaty despite it. That being said, I usually wear the cream clinical protection type deodorants, so it’s a tough comparison.

Its final claim is to prevent yellow stains. That’s not something I really have a problem with, so I don’t know that I’m the best person to provide judgement on that. However, I haven’t experienced any such stains while using it, so I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt.

Overall: this is definitely one of the better roll-ons that I’ve tried. I still find the drying time a bit too long for my liking, and I personally prefer a stronger anti-perspirant, but all in all, I’m fairly impressed, and would recommend to others.

Tips: Leave plenty of time for this to dry before getting dressed - it's a good opportunity to do your makeup/hair!

.....ugh

Ugh. I feel horrible saying that but that is how I felt after using this. I am not a fan of most roll ons (but I do have a few favs) so it had a tough battle on it's hands especially when I was also trying it's sister the spray deodorant.

The bottle itself I liked its small, easy to use and sleek looking. I liked the black packaging.

The product? Well..... Not so much. Let's start with some positives before we go into why I didn't like it.

I shaved.... I braced.... I waited... but no sting! YAY! Phew.... because that really was asking a lot. Sacrificing my arm pits for the good of BR ;) I didn't notice any marks on my clothes....

BUT when I put this on I was left with wet armpits for an abnormal amount of time..... like a long time people. I was left walking around looking like I was part monkey fanning my arms and regretting my choices. When it finally dried..... with some help... it did wear ok ish. I say ok ish because I had to reapply which meant I had to monkey fan again and it all goes around and around. I probably wouldn't have minded reapplying if it dried quicker? I mean topping up a deodorant is ok if it goes on quickly right?

The smell is not for me. A tad too strong like the spray this demands attention - you know you are wearing this and I found it clashed with my perfume (not cool) so I was reluctant to wear it. Why does it get to dictate what perfume I wear? hahahaha.

It is a reasonable price but I think I will stick to the clinical stuff which I am loving. It wasn't good enough to shake me from my norm.

Tips: If you are going to try this make sure you only put a small amount on or have set aside some dry time. A small amount means it dries faster and you avoid being bombed with a strong smelling deodorant xx

Great deodorant

I brought this for the 48hour protection not the White stains on black or yellow on white. To be honest I actually didn't even notice this until after I purchased it.

This is the best roll on deodorant I have purchased. It definitely does last all day. Even in this wonderful kiwi summer we have had this year it has lasted from dawn til dusk. It Comes in a small black tube bigger at the base and narrows as it goes up. It's Easy to apply as the ball sits at the bottom so the ball is ready to go and it rolls on easily not running dry halfway through. It has a quite a strong scent maybe musky actually kind of like a lynx deodorant It was never sticky either waiting for it to dry or throughout the day.

My only complaint against it was it took a bit longer to dry than other roll ons I have used. And naturally you think it will go all over your clothes but I haven't noticed a mark yet. I wear singlets every day and all of them are stain free and don't leave marks if a bit rubs off while it is still drying.

Maybe it will work for you...

I was really happy to receive this in a trial from BR. When I'm in the market for a deodorant I am after something quite strong (usually the Clinical Strength ones) so I was intrigued to see how this would work for me. I especially like the idea of it being 48 hour protection.

The packaging for this is actually really nice. I like the black plastic packaging. I really like the way the lid is at the bottom so all of the product goes onto the roll on ball so you never end up rolling on something without product on it. The lid also clicks on to the product really tightly which is great, especially for travel. I also found that the roll on dispenses a good amount of product which is great.

When I first smelt the product I thought 'ew'! I really thought it smelt a bit manly and musky and really wasn't my cup of tea. But luckily once I rolled it on I didn't find the scent nearly as offensive. However it was still quite a strong scent, I hate when things interfere with my perfume. Like others I did find it took a while to dry, but I usually apply at night when wearing my dressing gown so it has time to dry down before I go to sleep. Also in the morning I apply right at the start of doing my makeup and hair so it has plenty of time to dry down. I haven't had any problems with white marks on black or yellow marks, however that is the sort of thing that comes with quite some time so I would have to test this out for longer. But it is great that you don't have to worry about it getting on your clothes while it is drying.

Deoderant wise it definitely didn't last 48 hours on me. It barely made it through the work day. I didn't end up particularly smelly, but it was worse than my usual version. I won't be repurchasing this due to the smell and that it doesn't work quite as well as my Clinical Protection versions. But if you don't need something extra strength this could possibly work for you.

Not for me

I was pleased to try a new type of deodorant, I have stuck with the same one for years. However, I was not impressed enough with the Rexona Women Diamond Invisible Dry Roll on to swap from my trusty Mitchum. I immediately didn't like the packaging. I would have actually assumed that it was male deodorant. It looks exactly the same as the Rexona range for males. The smell was also quite masculine, I didn't like it and found it quite overpowering. Interestingly enough my boyfriend really liked the smell! It kept me dry through most of the day, but I didn't find it kept me "fresh" through the day like my normal deodorant. Definitely no white marks though, although I've not really ever found that to be a problem.

All in all I would not buy this myself. I think there are better deodorants out there, and I personally prefer an unscented variety. It's all relative though, some people might like the scent, and if you were not particularly active through your day (I am) then it could be right for you.

Tips: Check the smell first - it's quite strong and you might not like it. Good size to pop in your handbag, maybe keep it as a "spare".

Rexona Women Diamond Invisible Dry Roll on

I have recently converted to Diamond Invisible after finding that the crystal white was not keeping me as dry as I wanted.

The formula is fantastic, it keeps me dryer, it leaves no white or yellow marks and is all round awesome!

Definitely one I would recommend.

Sadly I was not a fan of this one

I hate giving bad reviews, I always feel like such a meanie, especially for trial products but needs must.

As you can probably tell I am not a fan. I did enjoy the packaging, it’s sleek and black and I like that it sits upside down so you won’t have to balance it upside down to get the last of it out, and it’s cool twist lock opening mechanism.

I also like that it worked. It’s been super summery (oh how I miss winter when it gets like this), and I’ve been doing some intense exercise. I haven’t noticed any embarrassing lapses in deodorant performance though which is really the most important thing at the end of the day. It’s not the kind of deodorant you can put on in the AM one day and then shower in the PM 36 hours later and place your full trust in though, you will need to re-apply.

What turns me off about the product is a couple of petty things, but hey, it’s a tough saturated market and I can afford to be fickle – I am the consumer afterall.

Firstly the smell. Somehow the same smell that I quite enjoyed in spray form comes across a little too masculine in roll-on form. It’s quite strong and musky or a female scent and I think it would clash a little with certain body lotions or perfumes.

The other dislike, and the most unforgivable in my eyes, is that it takes a looooong time to dry. An hour later one night I still had wet armpits and had to fan them and keep my arms up so they would dry. I’ve never had this problem with a deodorant before to this extent and it was really annoying.

The product claims not to leave marks. I’ve actually never had this problem with any product so I’m not sure if it is true to it’s word there but my impression of it was that it had a really opaque look when I applied it that seemed like it would stain clothes.

I’ve actually never tried Rexona before because it’s usually the most expensive deodorant. Even though it’s only by a few cents I had it in my mind that Rexona is a premium brand and this really hasn't lived up to that sadly.

Tips: There's a fine balance between applying enough product to be effective and applying so much that it won't dry. Tread carefully.

So so

I'm a SUPER sweaty person, so I was rather skeptical to begin with I have only been able to use one deodarant with 0 perspiration. This was great for the first day or two, then I sorta became immune to it. Will continue to use it every third day and see how I get on!

Black tops stay Black

I must admit that I was a bit dubious to try as I am a heavy sweater and use the clinical deodorant normally. But I did not sweat with this and I was surprised to find that my underarms on my black top stYed black :) I would certainly purchase this again and I will be looking for the male version for my teenage son to try as well :)

true to its name

This deoderant does do what it says, it is invisible and does not mark tops which is a major plus for me as I have had previous problems of white marks on dark tops.

The smell of this deorderant is nice although is very strong when you first apply it. I found this deoderant did not prevent me from sweating throughout the day but I did feel it was minimised as opposed to another deoderant.

The packaging is nice and I like the way that it stands on the rolling end so it would be easy for the product to come out when it is nearing the end.

I don't think that this deoderant would last for 48 hours like it says but I would recommend it to someone who was wanting a deoderant to put on during the morning and wear throughout the day.

Tips: Apply every day after showering,
