Dove Original Anti Perspirant Deodorant Review

Dove is such a well known brand, and for deodorants I've found to be effective and gentle for my skin. My skin can be sensitive and reactive to some deodorants, but Dove has always been so good on my delicate skin.

I recently started using spray aerosol anti-per spirants instead of roll on for a change, and I'm really liking it so far. So, I think I just might be converted.

The packaging is in it's simple and iconic colours - white and blue. It's sleek and stands out with it's long, curved shape and blue lid.

The scent is fresh and clean. It's has a distinctive, lovely smell but fades quickly. It doesn't interfere with perfume I wear. The packaging is sturdy and well designed.

The formula keeps me feeling fresh and dry during the day. I do a lot of running around after my toddler and walking with my baby, and at the end of the day still feel fresh and comfortable. I really like this anti-perspiration and won't hesitate to repurchase.

I am a bit of a challenge for a lot of deodorants. I have tried many, and many have failed so I approached this one with my usual trepidation.

This deodorant comes in the typical can with a spray nozzle. It is a pleasant looking can, sort of a pearly white with a blue lid.

The spray comes out quite fine and is a bit powdery so I would give it a little while to dry on your skin.

The scent is nice and sort of soft. It will not overpower your fragrance.

I applied this in the morning and I am at work for 9 hours and I still felt fresh when I got home. My underarms felt soft and fresh at the end of the day.

I would repurchase this product. Being available from the supermarket makes it easy to find. It is good value and mine lasted around a month.

Dove Original is one of the few anti perspirants I feel confident reaching for when I'm in need of a new one. It's packaged in the classic white-and-blue Dove packaging, with domed lid. I always find the Dove aerosols to have quite secure packaging so the lid doesn't pop off when it's in my bag, where I normally leave one for on-the-go freshening up.

Dove has a nice, clean, perfumed scent which isn't overpowering and fades quite quickly so won't clash with your perfume. Another bonus is that when I apply it, I never get the gagging effect some aerosols create.

Performance-wise I didn't find it strong enough personally to last a full 24 hours, but it's good for protection that lasts throughout the workday.

This product works fairly well in terms of preventing a sweat but the scent is something you will love or hate it's sort of like the soap & sort of powdery scent. Now. I like the soap but this is not quite as nice. The cans a bit bulky as spay deodorant & antiperspirants tend to be so it's not ideal for your handbag. The price of this listed above us actually quite good compared to other brands so it's definitely affordable. It's good to know it is an anti perspiration product designed to help prevent sweat not just a deodorant which is just a fragrance to cover it up. I like some of the other fresh varieties from this brand. It gets points for caring for the under arms but thinking about it makes me ponder if the moisturiser in it could actually be a sweat contributor as it is after all adding moisture. It's a good idea to not hold it too close to the skin when you spray as it can come out a bit forceful.

Love love love! I absolutely love Dove aerosol anti perspirants this one in particular smells so so nice, and works really well. It sprays out a light coating that leaves your skin feeling super soft and supple along with leaving a nice light fragranced on your skin throughout the day. I find it also lasts really well, I apply in the morning and then in the evening it's still doing it's job properly and that's after working and doing lots of steps and Mom duties on top of everything else too!

I wasn't a fan of this deodorant. Iv gone off useing spray deodorant as I can't seam to find one that doesn't leave a powdery reassure under my arm pits and this is a big no no for me especially in summer when your wearing singlets or t shirts. This deodorant left this residue no matter how little I applied . I find the spray nozzle quite hard to aim as well sometimes I'll spray my back or my chest it's quite annoying. I think I'll just stop trying spray deodorant and stick to roll on as its so much easier to apply.

i'll be honest, i'm not a fan of dove. i'm not sure why. it's just never jumped at me, and their ads annoy me for the most part, so when i got a set of dove for christmas i was less than excited.

i don't like aerosol deodorants because i feel like im being gassed out and suffocated, and this is no exception. i tend to use this in front of an open window or the front door cos my lord. gassy.

the smell is... nothing exciting, a bit powdery and a bit feminine but not really. it's just there, not something i'd pick myself. quite often i smell it over my perfume which i'm not a fan of, you'd think my neck/cleavage would be closer than my armpit but there you go.

first use i didn't realize i wasn't overly sweaty until the end of the night. i figured i had my arms up in a breeze so i thought nothing of it until i used it again the next day and same result. so i cant fault it there! (i was also using a roll on deo as well, but both together seem to be better for me!)

so yeah. i dont hate it, i dont love it, but im on the fence about repurchasing!

I use tons of Dove products so happily purchased this antiperspirant spray at Countdown for $6.

It comes in a standard spray bottle the same as most spray antiperspirants.

It has a gorgeous scent – delicate but sweet. I like that it sprays a good strong blast and one blast under each arm is sufficient for me. I let it sit for a couple of minutes before putting my shirt on, to make sure it’s dry.

I find it lasts through a 9 hour work day – and my work can be quite stressful, so that’s pretty good! I haven’t noticed any powdery residue and I wear dark blue, so that’s good.

It is a 250ml bottle and is lasting well (over a week and feels about ¾ full) In my estimation it is on a par with the other Dove deodorants – trusty and reliable.

A good purchase and one I’d recommend.

Doves one of those handy brands that can be found at many stores. Normally I like to buy Dove in my grocery shopping or when I'm out shopping at The Warehouse. What I enjoy about Dove is that you get good quality at an affordable price range.

Dove is known for their blue and white colours and their Dove emblem. This deodarant comes in an aerosol can. Dove has this distinct vanilla and moisturising lotion type scent. The lid is easy to open. The formula of this spray is liquid, and feels smooth against my skin.

I normally spray it on two times to get underarm coverage for the day. Please be careful not to spray under arms if you have shaved as it will irritate your skin. Smells lovely. Had many comments about the fragrance. One bottle last me about four weeks with daily use. I enjoy using this product. I would buy it again.

How could you not want to smell like Dove soap? This deodorant has just that smell and lasts up to around half a day. It also seems to be quite a thick spray and can leave a white mark on clothes if sprayed too close up.
