Original Source Shower Gel

I bought this shower gel in the scent Vanilla and Raspberry for $2.50 at Countdown when it was on special. For $1 per 100ml, this was a bargain.

The first thing that drew me to this on the shelves was the pink on pink. The writing is pink, the gel is pink. I love pink! The second thing was the huge 'On Sale' sticker in front of it. I popped the lid and had a whiff, and OH. MY. GOSH. Is this what heaven smells like!? "Mum! MUM!!" (I'm shouting at her from an aisle over) "Oh my god you gotta smell this" I make her smell it. She's not as hooked as I am. I smell the other smells (actually managing to get it on my nose) but its too late, I have this bottle in my eyes (like heart eyes or dollar sign eyes). I buy it.

I cannot believe this is a natural fragrance, and not with all the chemicals added to get this smell. The only time I have smelled anything remotely as sugary and delicious as this, is when I get a bag of pick 'n' mix candy from New World, and they have soft candy hearts that smell EXACTLY like this. I cant even tell you which is more prominent, the vanilla or the raspberry. It's a tie, a perfect, delicious mix of the two.

The lid snaps open and shut easily, and it doesn't leak as it sits on its head. The product comes out easily, if not a little rugged, but it softens and smooths itself out and looks absolutely divine. The only problem I have is I think the lather could be bigger, but that's a minor issue with something that smells this damn good.

The gel, once rinsed off and you are dry, isn't drying, my skin actually looks good before I put on a moisturizer (something that rarely happens). I have also discovered that the lingering smell once showered isn't as potent as I would like, I can't smell it right now and I used it at 7:30 this morning (this time of day does exist, whaaat!?), so that's unfortunate, but I can forgive.

It took 82 sunrises to help make this shower gel, and I am grateful for every one of them!

I purchased 3 of these body washes and had to restrain myself form buying them all. They smell good enough to eat! I got the Lime (which I find very refreshing after the gym and smells like lime ice-blocks too me), Vanilla and Raspberry (which is just sweet and delicious smelling) and Lavender and Tea tree (Perfect for relaxing in the evening). Very happy with all of them and find the scents last on your skin a while to not just while using them. Will definitely be trying out the other scents when these run out! They are not fully natural but still full of some great natural ingredients (a lot more than most shower gels). Would definitely recommend these to all.

Oh wow these are sooo nice! They really do smell like what they say they do. I've tried the lemon & tea tree, lavender & tea tree, and the mint chocolate one. I was pretty convinced the mint chocolate was for my tummy it smells sooo good! But it tastes a little salty haha! So No.. they are definitely for washing yourself in the shower! These are a nice thickish consistency, they lather up nicely, and can be made to last a long time when used with one of those shower pouf thingys. My husband loves these too, he's usually pretty fussy about gels smelling refreshing, so these are great for the whole family. I didn't find them overly drying or irritating at all, but I'm not that easily irritated by shower gels. The bottles are pretty good, they are clear so you can see what's left, and the opening is on the bottom which means you can get the very last of it out easily. They are also easy to open and close with wet hands. They also look nice & colourful sitting on the tub. So if your fed up with fake smelling 'goodies' then these are definitely worth a try, they have a very genuine scent indeed :)

An absolute delight to the senses when showering with these ! They lather up nicely and don't dry your skin out, and smell delicious enough to eat. I appreciate the basic packaging, it's a refreshing change. And the square lid makes it easy to use every last bit - because you will want to !

LOVE this shower gel. By far my favourite shower gel I have used so far will defianly be repurchasing as these are so many other flavours i would be keen to try.

The Chocolate Mint smells so yummy I want to eat it. Smells so devine I can smell it on my skin after I have had a shower. My skin smells so clean and fresh. these all are made a from natural ingredients.

I'm also a sucker for funky unique packaging love the shape of the bottle and the fonts used. Would highly recommend these.

I bought this in the 'Pink Grapefruit' variety as I love this scent in other brands. The smell of this is not as strong as others I have tried but it is a pleasant fresh scent - not too sweet and quite invigorating. These are great for waking you up in the morning! Think I will try the lime one next.

Update: I have tried the lime one and I loved it! The scent is delicious but not too strong - you don't really notice it on your skin. I like how the body wash drains to the lid so none is wasted. The only downside is I go through it so quickly as it's only 250ml! I will definitely buy this again.

OMG I have never been more in love and attracted to a beauty product scent before in my life. I'm talking about the Raspberry and vanilla scented body wash. I can't even begin to describe what it smells like. It's fruity and sweet. Like a dessert store. Smells like strawberry panna cotta! The entire shower fills up with the smell, and I am in heaven. Sadly, the scent is not as prominent or long lasting when you're out of the shower all nice and dry *sad face.* I still smell it, but I'm no longer in a dessert store.

It's a light, fluffy, whipped consistency. With just a squirt the size of a 20 cent piece, I can run my sponge over my entire body twice, so it will definitely last you a long time. It foams up really nice, and makes skin super super soft !

I love that the bottle is clear so you can see when it is coming to the end, and when you need to start restocking. But a tiny thing that bothers me is that the head, like about 3cm is empty! I NEED AS MUCH OF THIS PRODUCT POSSIBLE you don't understand! Why is some missing! It's a really convenient design to the bottle. The bottle opens from the bottom end, so when it is near the end, you don't have to hold it upside down for minutes to get the product to the bottom! It has a nice thin end, which makes it really easy to grab as well.

I do like to buy a different body wash each time, but honestly, I think I'm gonna stick with this one from now on.

I purchased the Mint and Tea Tree sented one of these and it it AMAZING!!. The smell is super relaxing and you feel like with a smell like that it can only do good. I will definitely be trying the other scents after this one.

As is my way, got this on special at Countdown for just over $2.00 which is ridiculously cheap for a nice body wash. I got the Shea Butter and Honey which sounded yummy, and it does smell nice. It is a creamy formula, lathers well and leaves skin soft and hydrated. The packaging is attractive, a triangle shaped bottle larger at the bottom with a flip top, easy to stand in the shower. The amount is smaller than some other body washes, 250ml, but for the inexpensive price is worth it. Cruelty-free, does contain the natural ingredients of Shea Butter and Honey, but the other ingredients are not entirely natural. Made in the U.K. I probably wouldn't buy it again for myself as I am trying to buy NZ made products and soap free, but would give as a gift to friends in a beauty pack.

I picked this up on special at Countdown, took a cheeky sniff test and chucked it in my trolley. These are priced really cheaply so I didn't have hugely high expectations. The scent is absolutely delicious, to me it smells like the Rose's chocolates with the strawberry filling (it smells more like strawberry than raspberry to me). It is sweet smelling but not in a sickly way that you are put off by after a few uses. It is quite a runny formulation, which in my opinion would be better suited to a pump top bottle than the current design- I always lose some product to the floor as it drips out of the bottle quite rapidly. Another reason I am not giving this 5 lippies is because it doesn't have a very generous lather, which means I end up using twice the amount of product. This does leave my skin feeling quite soft and hydrated, and I also absolutely love how this is not tested on animals. This is definitely one I'd repurchase because of the scent and the fantastic price. I would prefer a slightly thicker and foamier formulation however.
