OPI Nail Lacquer Review

The nail polishes are just devine, they are smooth and go on so nicely, there is no glugging around the neck of the bottle, the only issues I have is the cost, although I do believe compared to other products the price is acceptable, I am just on a very low budget, would buy a lot more if I could afford them.

So I opened the package and saw that the nail varnish is a different colour to what it looks like on the photo! It's better! Magenta colour with lots of sparkles it gave my nails a kind of iridescent glossy look. Never used OPI before so wanted to see how it compared to other nail varnishes, I found it quite runny on first coat the varnish would separate to the side of my nails so had to use a good three coats to get the exact look, two coats the colour was lovely but three the colour as darker but spot on very glossy looking with just the right amount of sparkle!! As a mum of three my nails do go through a lot so I got slight chipping on day 4. I wouldn't use this as an every day nail varnish more for special occasions or nights out or on holiday! Oh and in photos my nails looked amazing! Definitely great value for money and when removed no stained nails like i get with my cheapy nail polishes!! You get what you pay for! :-D Lots of compliments on my nails people saying oooh i'd actually buy that! I didnt need to use my normal base coat or top coat as didn't stain nails and took four days to slightly chip!

When OPI's Im All Ears arrived from the Minnie Mouse collection I was rather surprised by the maturity and dept of colour with the glitter giving it a youthful glow.

Upon application the layers where very thin so I applied a few coats to get a striking finish. Three coats and I have the perfect finish.

This polish was versatile easily going from day to night and I really liked the effect it had in the light.

I was SO excited when i received my invite to try this product! As a training nail technician i am obviously obsessed with NAIL POLISH! I really loved its beautiful colour, with the added spakle. LOVE & ADORE this product... need I say more? :)

I had heard about OPI's new liquid sand technology and I was very excited to try it out. I am a big OPI fan and think they can do no wrong but I was a little disappointed in this. I'm not usually a fan of blue nail polishes but I have to admit this was a very pretty colour especially with the reflective glitter in it. You definitely need two or three coats to get a good finish. I wasn't really a fan of how rough my nails felt with the finish but it was very pretty to look at and I might try putting a top coat on next time to smooth down the texture.

About two days after I applied the polish it started to chip at the top of my nails, pretty much across all of them and I hadn't been doing any harsh cleaning or putting my nails through much so I was really surprised that it came off so quick. By day five it was looking awful so I took it off. I didn't use a base coat and it didn't stain my nails which was a big plus considering it was a blue polish.

I think I would use it again for a night out, special occasion or maybe with a top coat to see if would last longer.

I love OPI! Colours and selection are gorgeous and they're always putting out new, innovative products. This liquid sand polish looks absolutely beautiful in the bottle, a stunning blue full of glitter that catches the light.

I received the product two days before the review was due so I was up against time and couldn't judge the longevity of the product. However, I've commented on look and application =)

Given the title of the polish I was weary of the application, thinking it may be gritty and difficult to apply. But the polish applied just as easily as any OPI nail polish. I was impressed!

With the first coat applied I felt a bit deflated as it looked washed out and pale and not awesome at all! But I waited patiently for it to dry (which didn't take long at all) and upon application of the second coat, I got the full effect of the nail polish! It looks stunning on and looks just like a blue, glittery sandpaper - very pretty!

Given its extreme colour and glitter I wouldn't wear it on my fingernails but on my toenails, particularly during summer, it's a definite winner!

This colour is amazing!! Adds pop to any outfit and brightens your day, you will however need to add atleast 3 coats to get good coverage, overall- drying time did not take long, with a top coat this lasted 7 days without peeling- a little chipped but nothing major. Would definitely buy again and recommend to anyone.

This was the first time that I had the opportunity to try an OPI nail polish and I loved the results. It went on for a smooth and flawless finish, was quick drying and was a beautiful colour. Also I didn't have any problems with it chipping quickly either, which is a problem I usually have with nail polishes. I loved the liquid sand texture of this nail polish, it felt a little rough but I enjoyed the textured feel of it. I recommend anyone to try this nail polish as it is great quality and the fact it dries quickly makes it even more worth it.
