First off I love the names they use for each colour, They have an amazing range of shades, textures, effects and the product lasts a decent amount of time unless your a picker lol They also have special packs and shades that empower celebrity styles and even the muppets!

OPI Nail Lacquer Review
Reviews
Tips: Always apply a base coat and top coat after the use of any polish, makes it last longer and gives a better finish.
I have quite the collection of OPI nail lacquers (I was lucky enough to get them at cost price when managing a Salon). I absolutely love them, and you really can't beat the range of colours OPI offer.
I have had most of my lacquers for near on 5 years; they have even travelled with me around the globe on multiple occasions and are still in good usable condition (not gluggy, thick or hard).
The lacquer is a perfect consistency - not too thick or too thin, so with most colours you only need to apply 2 coats (some light/sheerer colours may need 3). The brush is a good length and width, and makes application fast, smooth and easy. OPI lacquers are self-leveling, so they dry even and streak free.
OPI are known for the quirky name they give to each shade. My colour of the moment (it's been a long moment!) is Mod About You. It's a solid candy-floss/baby pink from the Brights Collection.
I do find these a bit of a 'splurge' luxury product, so I really have to love a colour before I purchase it at full price. I've never been disappointed.
Tips: Use a base and top coat for maximum colour longevity. Don't just stick to one colour! Get creative! eg. paint your 3rd finger a different colour, or put a twist on the traditional French Manicure by using bright and contrasting colours.
I tried this a couple months ago just to see what the fuss was all about I applied on a Monday and by Wednesday it was scratching off and wasn't very pretty I tried the pink one which is my fav colour its real pretty and neat when you first put it on but after a while its not great I like the new York nail polishes :)
Tips: oh maybe using a top coat nail polish might help?? :)
Absolutely love opi nail polish. It last longer than most and is hardy too. After washing dishes and cleaning house my nails still look fantastic. They last a good 2weeks before I redo them. Love them.
Tips: I always put a nail strengthening base coat abd after applying two layers of nail polish I then add another layer of clear nail polish for that extra shine.
I really enjoy using OPI nail polish. I would strongly recommend it to anybody as a really good nail polish to use. It does have a strong smell and at times can stink the house out when the bottles lid is off. OPI create strong, bright colours and have a wide range too. The product is long lasting and gives a really nice non streaky finish.
Tips: I recommend doing three thin layers at a time. After each layer allow the polish to completely dry as this makes the polish dry strong and doesn't leave you with a messy polish finish.
I love the range of colours and how they don't get gloopy easily. Unfortunately they do tend to chip after a couple of days, especially if you get your hands wet quite often. Alternatively, I have had issues with the glitters- purely because they are difficult to take off! Other than that, love love love them!
I love OPI, this brand makes up most of my ever growing nail polish collection, they have such a great range of colours with creative funky names for every season, mood and outfit. I find with my lighter shades like "gargantuan green grape" or "mimosas for mr & mrs" i have to put on a few coats otherwise it gets streaky and doesn't show its full colour potential. I find that my polish does only last about a day or two without a top coat and maby up to four with the top coat but i work with my hands in water regularly, so they dont stand much of a chance any way.
I like the large range of colours OPI offers but I find it no different to the cheap nail polish you can buy, it chips just as easily.
OPI have a great colour range & bring out amazing limited edition sets to match whatever trends are in (eg: movies, colourways etc) so i have a huge collection!
But i have found that if you use the full range (#1 basecoat or strengthener, #2 colour & #3 top coat) then you will get great vibrant results that last for up to two weeks BUT if you use other brand base or top coats your paint will start to chip within a couple of days.
I have also found that when applying colour you need to apply more than one coat otherwise a majority of colours will be slightly transparent or streaky - the second colour coat makes the finish much more even.
Overall i feel they are a very strong product and great quality , they just need to be used with their own range of support polishes or treatments :)
Tips: Always buff your nail surface before applying basecoat for a perfect texture & finish effect.
I love the OPI nail range! I have about 4 or 5 different colours (and would love to get more) as there is such a great range of colours to choose from in every shade.
What I love most about the nail polish is that they are really bold and paint on with nice coverage. The paint is not streaky and applies really well.
The only negative I have is that they are quite pricey - so I can only afford to get them every once and awhile for special occasions
Tips: Apply two coats for a nice thick finish.
