Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Night Moisturiser

WOW okay I need to contain myself to stop making typos. So, I have rosacea right, and it sucks. Every new product I get has to be tested on my double chin first to make sure it doesn't burn. I would NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS USE RETINOL but I thought why not give it a try. I was pretty darn nervous to tell you the truth. I watched lots of YT videos and reviews first to make sure my face wouldn't burn off leaving me looking like Freddy Kruger. Night number 1, I first put moisturizer on, then I put a recovery oil, THEN I put this olay retinol on...I wanted to have a big barrier between this stuff and my skin, just incase. Well it was fine and I just figured I may have been a bit OTT with the barrier. I waited a couple of nights as you shouldn't ever use retinol twice in a row for your first time. Night number 2... I just used moisturizer first and then the olay retinol. Again, no reaction. Woke up in the morning with the silkiest most lovely skin. Even went as far as wondering if my incurable rosacea was cured but no, alas, it did come back after cleansing. Well I was impressed and became a wee bit cocky. Only had waited one night before I did attempt number 3. This time, naked skin straight after cleansing. I started with a dot. Then after a few mins I dunked my whole face in it. YOLO. What happened...IS AMAZING! When I got into bed I told my partner to touch my face and he was just as shocked as me. I realized that this stuff could actually be helping the pustules (which is rosacea talk for acne). My skin was so smooth the texture is unlike I have had in years. Next morning I woke with no spots and relatively pale face compared to beetroot red. I have since been using this product every second night for almost 3 weeks and I HAVENT HAD A SINGLE PIMPLE! This could be just a coincidence however I haven't been pimple free since I was on Doxy which is an acne/rosacea antibiotic. I will absolutely continue using and buying this stuff. It must have just the right amount of retinol to be calming on sensitive skin. As you can tell, I'm very impressed and I would not spend this long writing a review on something that isn't worth it. OLAY, you nailed it.

I have suffered with acne for over 10 years now which has recently started to clear up. This means I've been left with post-acne scarring so I have been trialling retinol in the hopes of improving it.

I've tried retinol from the ordinary, quite liked the emulsion but hated the oil! I do not like oil on my face, so I was luckily selected for this trial team.

First off, the packaging is a bit excessive, the cardboard box is way too big for the actual pot. Aside from that, the product itself is a beautiful white cream that spreads super easily and leaves a velvety/silky finish. It says fragrance-free but there's definitely a whiff of something fruity, like berries or grape? But it shouldn't interact with those who are allergic to fragrance.

It's such a light texture and I find a little goes a long way. I've been using it every second-third night in the first week of the trial and now that my skin is more used to be I've been using it about 5 times a week.

I wake up with such soft, glowing, bright, plump skin! I can't tell if my scars have actually reduced much as I've only had about 2 weeks to test this but I love how good my skin looks in the morning. It's also well hydrated too. I used to have a couple dry patches around my face but they're all gone now.

I was worried about sensitivity but I needn't worry! My skin looks amazing and it's even kept my maskne at bay (I work in healthcare so wear a mask during the whole shift).

Would definitely repurchase - finally found a retinol texture I like!

I've really enjoyed using this product.

Each evening I applied a small amount to my face and neck, avoiding the eye area. It's 100% fragrance free, very light weight, absorbed quickly and felt silky smooth.

First morning after using this product I noticed my skin was clearer and brighter looking. After a few days of using, fine bumps on my face had improved and smoothed out. My skin looked fresher and it helped even out my skin tone.

This is a fabulous night cream that I loved instantly. It contains retinol to improve fine lines and wrinkles. After using this product for a week I saw a difference, The main benefits i saw were smoother skin, soft to the touch, and my fine lines around my eyes and forehead appeared reduced.

The texture of the cream is silky and soft to the touch and sinks in straight away, its easy to use and there is no greasiness residue. Comfortable and light weight to wear, my skin looks fresher, brighter and smoother after I use this nightcream. It’s nicely packaged so also makes a nice gift and I feel it’s great value as a little goes a long way so it lasts for quite a while.

This cream is amazing. I have noticed such a difference in the clarity of my skin and fine lines have become slightly less visible. It is a very thick cream which I kind of like for a night cream. My skin feels extremely soft and smooth in the morning and I don't look as though a havnt slept in 5 years. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family.

Wow! I cannot rate this product highly enough. The change in my skin over the last few weeks has been so noticeable. My skin is plumper, hydrated, softer and my fine lines are definitely shallower. I was hesitant to use this product too regularly at first given the possible side effects, but my skin reacted beautifully to it. From the first application my skin felt smoother and more hydrated. I have two small patches on my face that occasionally flare up with excema, and I had a brief flare up the first two times using the product but then no issues at all. This cream has a soft fragrance, is smooth and silky, and a little goes a loooong way. It glides onto your skin and absorbs quickly with no residue on my pillow cases (I used the cream at bedtime). I'm pleasantly surprised at how much cream is still left in the jar, and its definitely on my must-have restock list for when it does run out. I also used the cream on the backs of my hands and down into my decolletage, and have noticed a difference on those as well.

OKAY OLAY. This face cream has been a game changer. I usually have quiet dry skin so I didn't really hold my breath that this cream would work for me but oh my I was wrong, it's probably been the best face cream I have ever tried - and i really love smothering my face in creams. Not only does it completely hydrate my skin but it makes it feel impossibly smooth. Like I literally cant stop touching my face. I don't really have any wrinkles to smooth but it definitely smoothed out the tone. It also smells quite nice, the packaging is big enough to easily scoop out enough to thoroughly douse myself in one go. I'm quite pale so I wear sunscreen everyday anyway so no lifestyle change to adapt to there. So yeah, i'm probably addicted to this cream now so thanks for that beauty review.

This moisturiser is amazing! My skin feels so much healthier and I have noticed my small fine lines and wrinkles have reduced. I’ve also noticed that it is even reducing the appearance of red marks and old scars. My skin looks almost “glowy”. I also like that this moisturiser doesn’t have an exact smell which is perfect for bed time. I have been using this moisturiser for only two weeks or so but have already noticed the difference. I have slowly started using this product but haven’t had any problems in the sense of irritation or reaction. My skin overall feels and looks better. I will definitely keep using this product.

I am loving this product - even if it took a while to get going.

Following the instructions, I took this very slowly, beginning with once a week use, to twice a week use. I'm now comfortably using it every other night and loving it.

I experienced moderate tingling after the first use, but no retinol side effects like peeling or soreness.

My skin feels much softer and smoother and very, very even in texture.

I did find the lid cover inside a little tricky to lift each time, so I've biffed that out. Other than that the packaging is very sturdy and of good quality.

I love that the cream is fragrance free, and think this is a wonderful introduction to retinol for anyone!

I first brought this in sample size from chemist warehouse and it converted me to how wonderful Olay is.

Retinol can be a tricky beast, so this was nice simple way to start. I use this two to three times a week it goes on smoothly and absorbed well no strong fragrance. I experienced no adverse side effects that retinol can give.

Immediately and the next day my skin felt the softest it ever has and I repurchased it in full size
