Neutrogena Beach Defence Lotion SPF 50

I loved this sunscreen because it was light and not greasy. It smells good and absorbed into skin very quickly. It is a good sunscreen when going to the beach or having a picnic at the park. Its high SPF makes it ideal for those that love the outdoors. I would highly recommend this product to my friends.

We loved using this over the summer time it has a high spf which is very important to me. The smell is fine its not too strong. It is quite a thick sunblock but does rub in after massaging it into the skin. We didn't get burnt at all over summer wearing this and love how its a 4 hour water resistant. Easy to spot where it is in the nappy bag as well being bright yellow you can't miss it!

Not any easy task - finding a sunblock everyone likes to use. Neutrogena beach Defence SPF 50 lotion cuts the mustard! We are a fussy bunch when it comes to sunblock and this product passes the acceptable test. It smells good, goes on easily and is fast absorbed by the skin. The best thing is not only does it work vey well by protecting us from the sun, it keeps the skin from drying out without being greasy and it doesn't stain clothing.

I have fair skin and go through sunblocks and screens regularly. Beach Defence is nice to use. It goes on easily and is non greasy. There is no whiteness on your skin and it feels good too. I really recommend this product.

It actually does what is says. I was worried that it would be give me the white cast or an oily face like some other sunscreens I have tried, but it didn't. It is very light and feels like a lightweight lotion. It doesn't have a chemical smell, instead it has a light fruity and coconuty scent, which is not overpowering. I think it is also gives light moisture to the skin because it doesn't dry me out and makes my face tight like some sunscreen I have used. Overall it is a very good product and I will definitely buy it again.

This is one of the best sunscreens I have used! Perfect for our family, and use it on the kids without any problems. It has a nice slightly fruity fragrance, doesnt leave us greasy and oily as it absorbs quickly. Love that it is in a pretty descent sized bottle, Has a hight spf of 50 which is fabulous!!

Before I even tried this product I was really impressed by the packaging, it’s bright yellow, it says summer & really stands out from the others. Normally I find putting sunscreen on such a painful experience, the sunscreens I’ve tried in the past have more often than not been of a thick consistency, and take awhile to apply and absorb into my skin. I found this sunscreen completely different, I thought it smelt nice (not the typical sunscreen overbearing smell) it’s a light lotion and didn’t take long at all to rub into my skin and absorb. It was just like using a light body moisturiser. It’s SPF 50 which gives the ultimate protection with a 4 hour sweat and water resistance which is exactly what you need when you are outside in the heat enjoying summer. I also really like the fact that it’s oil free so I didn’t feel like it was clogging up my pores like I normally do with sun lotion. I felt like I had the ultimate protection using this and would definitely recommend. It’s a good product & really just does what it says it does.

I am never leaving the house without it on!. First thing I check is the smell. It's the nice (generic) neautrogena smell, I can't explain.It's not too strong. When I put it on though... wow. So it's actually not greasy!!! I know so many products that say this and lie, This felt like a very sheer body lotion, it quickly absorbed and I felt I should more on. I put it on when I went to the pool ( I love swimming but chlorine does dryout skin) and this product again was a god send. My legs usually get terribly dry and itchy. Not with this, I put a little more on after I got out as a top up and away I went. This product is an essential I will use everyday!!!

I have been using this product for a few days, in the blistering heat of Gisborne and I must say, I love the smell of the product (doesn't have the yuck sunscreen smell) and it absorbs really well leaving your skin feeling fresh! When using this product when I went to the beach it was great, I spent 4 hours at the beach with this product and didn't burn! I would recommend this to all the beach bunnys out there!

This sun lotion had a very pleasant fragrance which was as light as the application, I tend to use sunscreens that are natural and zinc based, so this was why I did not mark this as 5 out of 5 for would I use it again. The cream sank in immediately and my skin felt moisturised, not at all oily. I did not use the cream at the beach, but I would imagine it would work very well as it is not sticky like others I have used. I cannot confirm how well it works in the water. Overall, it felt like a beauty product as it was so moisturising and I smelt nice after application, the fact it offers 50= sun protection whilst being so light is impressive.
