Nars Sheer Glow Foundation

This is a beautiful foundation with a medium/heavy coverage. While I love the finish it is definitely not a glowing foundation. It is more satin borderline matte so is great for all skin tones. Mont Blanc is my match and is perfect, really easily to blend.

I brought this foundation out of pure curiosity, everything if good about it, its just that I prefer a fuller coverage, the texture is very light and soft, it applies very easily and is easy to blend, please note if you are looking for a foundation to cover acbe and scars etc this is not for you. this foundation reflects the light, so you end up with a white face

Another favourite! If you find you are in-between colours/shades you can mix these together to get the right colour for you. It’s a fantastic formula that is light and fresh, I never feel like my face is caked/clogged with this foundation even if I have layered it up to get full coverage. It creates a really nice, even skin tone that is easy to blend and you don’t have to use much which makes it good value for money. Can be used with brushes, sponges or your fingers; whatever you prefer. Love this product!

I recently got some samples of Nars sheer glow but was so pleased I had to purchase! I am an nc15 in most Mac foundations but an nc20 in studio sculpt. I am a light colour with yellow undertones. I use the shades deauville for when I'm paler and Santa Fe when I have a tan. I have been so pleased with this foundation. It lasts all through a working day, whereas other foundations including Mac ones tend to wear off. It has a medium to full coverage but doesn't look unnatural. Though I am a matte girl through and through, I like the natural and slightly dewy look of this foundation.

Nars Sheer Glow isn't what you expect! When you think 'sheer' you think low coverage, but this product is totally not! This foundation gives a medium to full coverage foundation, and what makes it so awesome is that it's a super light weight formula so there is no chance of cakeyness or flaking! You can put on the thinnest layer and get beautiful coverage, and if you want full coverage you just put on another thin layer and there you have it! The shade range is great and there are alot of colours to chose from, personally I'm quite pale and find it hard to find a shade that properly suits my skintone, but the shade Deauville/Mont Blanc is perfect for me. Also I have really dry skin and this foundation is great for it, it hydrates my skin and gives it a healthy glow while doing it's job as a foundation! Absolute love the stuff! The only downside is that it's quite pricey, around $80 a pop depending on where you buy it! But considering the pros I would justify it as worth buying! :-)

I got a decent size sample from my closest retailer to try the colour before I splurged my money. I must say, the colour match was perfect! It gave me a nice medium coverage and felt so nice on the skin, I looked dewy and hydrated and flawless, but it still looked like skin. Perfect! However, I was unimpressed with the staying power. I need a full day out of a foundation, but I found by lunch time I was looking shiny and oily, no amount of powder would help me, I just looked sweaty rather than flawless. I tried it again for just an evening look, but still came home oily as opposed to 'glowing'. I hadn't used too much and I don't generally have oily skin, it just changed on me throughout the day. I loved it on and was a perfect colour match (so hard to find!) but i've decided not to purchase it because I need much longer life out of a foundation... but so keen to try the matte version though!

Having an exact colour match is really important to me, and Nars Sheer Glow is one of the only foundations I've found so far to have this! There are a really good variety of shades, from light to dark, peachy to yellow. The lasting power isn't that great but I don't mind. Formulation is great - so easy to apply and dries down!

I watched so many youtube reviews before splurging on this, i went to Mecca to get a sample but i was given like a really tiny amount that was only good for one side of my face -.- Anyways, i have normal/dry skin and this stuff is great! The consistency is not heavy, you don't even need a full pump to cover your whole face, it doesn't cake on me and it has a really nice natural finish. Its definitely not sheer or glowy though but its real natural which i want anyway. If applied properly, it looks like you're not wearing makeup. I hate that its so expensive but i hope the bottle lasts long. Its so worth it though. The coverage is medium buildable but if you want it sheer then just apply the tiniest amount. I love that its yellow based cause its perfect for my olive skin tone! Love this foundation!!

I picked up a sample of this from Mecca before I made the splurge on it and boy was I impressed! It was the perfect colouring for me and it was such good coverage. Definitely recommend it to anyone!

This stuff is beautiful! it glides on like a dream and mimics skins natural texture amazingly. Its is not very sheer or very glowy as the name suggests, it is actually quite full coverage and has a saturn finish. But it gets forgiven for this cause it just looks great. Quite pricey but is worth it if your budget allows.
