Love!

At this stage this liner is the best I have ever tried. I brought this pen quite some time ago and it's still going strong. When I purchased this I also got the maybelline gel liner (there was a 20% off or something at Countdown) while the gel liner is a fav as well it's since dried out but not this pen!

This pen has the finest tip I have come across in a liner pen. It took some getting use to but it's great as you can really get it into your lash line while making it look like you have no liner on as you can create such a fine line.

It's pigmented and dries quickly, doesn't flake and lasts on my oily lids all day without smudging.

I love creating winged liner with this pen as you can get the lines and tip of the wing so perfect.

Best of all it's affordable!

If you are new to liquid liners I think this product is a great one to try. It's outdone many I have tried including MAC, Stila and Bourjois.

I just don't get the hype

I bought this after hearing an endless string of great reviews. It is a pen format, which makes it really easy to use. Uncap the lid and you see a small flexible felt tip style nib, which makes drawing a precise line easy.

I prefer to use the tip and the flat edge of the nib towards the tip for the most precision. You do have to be a bit careful as the nib widens quite a bit towards the base and will produce quite a thick line. You could use this part to make a wing quickly but I usually just line the top lashes without a wing.

Now for why I gave it a 2/5 stars: it dries up really quickly. Far too quickly. I probably only had two months max use out of this, and I didn't use it everyday. Towards the end it became very greyish also, not like the nice dark black it was at the beginning. Not sure if I got a dud or not but I'll stick with pot format liquid liners and gel eyeliners for now.

Definitely a dud!

This liner has really great potential, it's not super expensive for a liquid pen and is fantastically easy to use, but it just dries out so disastrously quickly! Within about two weeks of using this liner it had dried out to the point where it was practically unusable - to get any product out at all I had to apply so much pressure that I lost all precision... which is kind of the whole point of liquid pens!!

I also didn't find it to be a particularly rich black, which is definitely my preference.

Don't waste your time, spend the extra $12 and get the Stila Stay All Day.

A competitor for my HG

I just recently got this liner and can already tell that its quickly becoming one of my favourites. My current fave liner is the Kat Von D tattoo liner which has a similar brush hair tip but isn't as precise. This liner has a short tip which is just brush hairs that come together into a super sharp point. Brush hair liners are my favourite because as you're drawing the line above your Lashes, they fan out to create a smooth line. There is no need to press a button, a thin black fluid comes out of the tip by itself. The tube is a thin, black tube which is typical of a liner such as this. The liquid itself is nice an black, making an opaque line without having to go over the same spot over and over. I love this liner, it allows me to get a super sharp line without too much mess. I can't comment on how long the liner lasts for as I have only had it a few weeks.

Tips: Map out both wings before starting to draw the line on top of your lashes to ensure even wings on both sides.

My Staple

I absolutely love this liquid liner - I could not live without it. It's so easy to use, so easy to fix up if you make a little boo-boo, and so affordable! I've tried a fair few other liners but none came close to this little gem. Might not be the best on the market at staying put, but I find it fine for a whole work day, then a quick reapply at 5:30 if needed :)

Best Felt Liner!

Bought this a week ago and safe to say the best felt liner i have ever used! Ive been through a few felt liners in my lifetime and this has been the best so far! Easy to use, small packaging so easy to chuck in your bag for touch ups during the day! Very thin tip so its very easy to make precise lines and hasn't dried up on me yet! Dries quickly and is a great product for the price (below $20). 10/10 would reccomend!

HG!

I will always repurchase this eyeliner.

Spectacular product, easily on par with the Stila and Kat Von D Tattoo liner. Fine brush tip allows for total precision and the colour is a dark, pure black. As this become more and more loved the colour does start to fade and payoff lessens, but I don't have that much of an issue simply going over it, as it retains the precision. Unlike a felt tip liner, the end of this doesn't flake or break after some usage, so it will last you until either it runs out of ink or you can't be bothered going over the lines to make them opaque. I find with mine that I will get around 3 months of wear with regular use and optimum results.

My primary joy when it comes to these liners is their longevity. I often forget that I am wearing makeup, and as a result when I finally am able to glance at myself after a long day sometimes the results are pretty shocking. The liner never budges. At one point I was working two jobs, 16 hour days, and nights running food in hospitality - this never disappeared

Wouldn't use again

I found the consistency to be quite too watery for my liking, it even ran slightly into my eyes making them sting and watery. Although it's easy to apply, it did tug a little which made it a bit harder to apply than my holy grail.

I used this product for a few months before I found my holy grail, and in that time I brought 3 of these because they just didn't last, they dried out very quickly and I needed to wait between doing eyes for the eyeliner to wet the tip.

Would I recommed this? To a beginner looking for a cheap alternative to Stila Stay-All-Day I would say to give it a go, but otherwise, I would highly recommend spending a bit extra and getting Stila.

I had the same problem with them drying out. I might have to look into the Stila one.

Easiest eyeliner ever!

I was doing okay with my gel eyeliner but I thought there has to be an easier way to build up my usual cats eye look. There is! This has a tip just like the sort of liquid eyeliner you get that screws into a little bottle but I found that sort to be too thin to hold onto and can also get rather gluggy after a while. This eyeliner has no air getting to it which means it's always nice and liquid and is the size of a felt tip pen so is easy to hold onto. Basically you just draw lines onto your eyelids, what could be easier. Much easier than mucking around with gel pots and brushes (which need cleaning with every use) and much easier to control due to the bigger size.

Tips: I draw a line across my top lid lash line, make a dot half way between the corner of my eye and the end of my eyebrow, draw a line up from the corner to that dot. Then draw a line from that half way point across to meet my lash line. Fill in that triangle you have just made and voila you have a perfect cat eye look :)

Master smudge eyeliner

I do like the packaging. It's simple and compact allowing you to carry it anywhere without the fear of it leaking since the cap is locked on.

The brush is very fine and tapers to a tip that allows for thin and precise line application. I also like the formula as it doesn't tug and does allow for a smooth line and the perfect wing to be drawn (or any other eyeliner look that you want to rock). I do find that the colour is more of a grey and you have to keep going over the line to get an intense black which often makes the line messy and thicker, so I'm not a huge fan of that.

As for smudgeproof and waterproof - definitely not in my opinion. It always smudges on me and I end up with panda eyes, which is not a trend that I like. It smudges within a couple of hours on me and simply does not last - even when I wear eye primer. Possibly because of this, it does come off super easily and I just use Garnier Micellar water to remove it.

Due to the smudging and grey colour pay off, I am not a huge fan of this eyeliner and would not repurchase this.

Tips: If you want an 'invisible' eyeliner look, just do dashed lines on the lash line rather than a solid continuous line
