Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Review

Maybelline fit me is the foundation I use currently, I have it in shades 210 and 225 which I alternate when I tan. I also use the darker shade for contouring on top of the lighter shade. The packing is nice and clean but the bottle could use a pump! It also has a pleasant smell. The formula is very runny so you have to be careful when getting it out of the bottle. A little also goes a long way. I honestly had a lot of issues with this foundation when I first started using it, but these seemed to go away when I changed my application (initially used the RT stippling brush but changed to a damp beauty blender). I have found that I can now build up a nice even coverage. I have oily skin and this is a dewy finish foundation, which isn't ideal, but I find that it works great when finished with a Rimmel translucent powder.

I purchased this product last year, the price is good (very affordable).

Product is not the best, I have oily skin. And this product along with the FitMe powder just was not cutting it. The coverage was very light for me personally, and the formulation just seemed to make my face look even more oily :/

My sister and I fought for the last bottle of 225 at Farmers. We had heard great reviews about this product and being sisters we wanted to try it out before the other.

Of course I won!

I found this product to be very light and work well with my skin, especially if I used a primer beforehand.

When I look for a foundation I don't want it to look like I have caked on my make up, I want it to look like I have barely any make up on which is what this product does for me.

The only problem I have with it is that it is not long lasting.

Overall it is still one of my favourite foundations, and always have a spare bottle incase my sister comes for her weekly raid of my make up :P

Finally I grabbed me a bottle of this. I got mine from the US & it was less then $7USD. The bottle: It's a good size and has a square shape to it. clear and see thru glass. With a square black lid. In the bottle the liquid looks very dark. The opening is of good size to be able to dispense enough liquid at one time. A flaw of this bottle is it has no pump so way of dispensing is by pouring. consistency is quite thick so it's not running and doesn't just pour out causing waste rather it glugs out which is ok to prevent wastage but a impatient person could possibly over ram the bottle upon dispensing this could prove a problem with wastage. So I advise shake well and just dab out a little at a time. Remember we want to build up the coverage not over do it.

Application : I dot this around my face and then blend out with my blender. This blends out easily and perfectly. It has that matte feel like that velvet to touch feel. with a blender it just blends out flawlessly and there are no streaks or smudges no settling into creases or pores and it doesn't cake. I combine with Benefits porefessional and then set with Stay matte fixed powder by Rimmel. The coverage can be built up which I do. And I repeat there is no caking and cracking. Shine free look and it sits on my oily prone skin all day without slip sliding. By evening there is some shine but nothing a dab of f setting powder can't fix. But being evening it's not a problem as mthe foundation has served it's purpose and frankly that's a good purpose a full day of coverage and matte look yayyy. So glad I've got to try this for drug store brand it's awesome. I have the pore matte type.if I failed to mention not the dewy effect. It's fair to say I enjoy this foundation and it's powers of coverage. It totally is suitable for my skin type, my skin tone and my age...

Awesome foundation. I have it in the dewy and poreless and love them both. Great coverage and applies really smooth over your face. Bought three weeks ago and I have every intention of repurchasing.

The Maybelline Fit Me Foundation is my current favourite weekday foundation! I'm normally a full coverage kinda gal and this is not a full coverage foundation, but it makes my skin look so soft and flawless! And my skin is definitely not flawless!

The consistency of the foundation is quite watery/runny it would be great if it had a pump but that's not a big deal. I generally apply two coats and I find that's the perfect coverage for everyday wear, I would say this foundation is a light - medium coverage foundation. I don't use a powder very often as I have dry skin and don't feel I need one, occasionally on my T-Zone, I wouldn't say the fit me foundation looks amazing at the end of the day, it does come off a little, so I'm not sure how someone with oily skin would find this foundation, but I think for a drug store foundation its great for everyday wear, it has a nice smooth finish it doesn't feel heavy or sticky on the skin, its great!

I love this foundation on days i feel i want coverage but don't want to look like im wearing a lot of makeup. I'm a 210 and usually an NC30 in MAC Studifix and the colour match is pretty good. Its gives enough coverage to cover my red cheeks but still allows them to shine through for the natural glow. I do find i get abit oily in my T zone when i wear this foundation all day and my skin is dry skin type so not sure why i always get oily around the T zone when i wear it. I recommend it, does the job and has a light feel, not a foundation to wear on a night out though.

The colour which most suited my skin made me look orange, I bought #230 and it just was too pink based. The coverage was horrible and theres no pump which makes applying it difficult. You literally pour it all over your hand, but sometimes you need that much because the coverage wasn't great at all. For the price its worth it but I think its better to shell out for something that works a lot better.

Favourite low-end foundation, bit too oily for people with oily skin but overall provides a great coverage and SPF 15 which seems more than it says. Stays put on face and doesn't move around too much and covers any scars or blemishes to cut down on the visibility of imperfections on the face. Overall really good for everyday use.

So I actually bought this product as a lot of my friends raved about it to me. now i'm not usually the type to buy an SPF foundation so was a tad skeptical. Now at first I loved this, it covered my skin flawlessly leaving me looking photo ready but the smell of the SPF in it was over powering and not long after wearing this foundation it oxidises making me look like an oompa loompa while out for dinner with my partner and his whole family!! so I would only recommend this to people who have tan/darker skin (even though they have lighter shades i found these to oxidise too) and also normal to dry skin as the SPF gives an oily look.
