I picked this shade up at a beauty sale . I love eye shadow . Especially singles for those shades that you want to have without committing to a whole pallete .
This pot is quite sturdy as I have dropped mine numerous times. Consistently is think creamy . I like to use this as a main lid colour and I’m impressed with how well it holds . Normally these shadows wear off after a couple of wears especially maybelline pressed shadows. This one lasts all day.
Overall I would like them to expand the colour range further . This would be great to pop into a gift or stocking filler for Christmas.
I brought several different shades of Maybelline Tattoo eyeshadow and was bitterly disappointed. The colours in the pots are stunning, unfortunately they do not look that way on your eyelids. The pigment on your skin is no where near as intense. The consistancy is quite thick and is difficult to apply evenly to your lid. They quickly dry out on your skin and flake off your eyelid. This is a double slap in the face as you not only end up with patchy unattractive eyeshadow but you also have little flakes of it settling all over your face and sticking to your foundation. The only positive about this product is the packing. The little glass pots are cute and much more hardy than any plastic eyeshadow container.
Tips: If you're going to use this, which you shouldn't, use a primer specifically for liquid eyeshadow and apply the product with a damp make up brush.
